For anyone curious, the guitar SM is playing is made by Veillette Guitars in Woodstock, NY. The model he’s playing is sort of a cross between a 12 string acoustic guitar and a mandolin. I believe they’re usually tuned D-D.

Yes! I was curious for sure. It’s very similar to the Tacoma Papoose…which is tuned to A (5th fret of a normal 6 string).

What does underrated mean exactly? What are you even talking about? He’s one of the most famous rock musicians of the last 50 years.
I've seen him live 4 or 5 times and it was a spectacular show every time! He actually sounds better in person than on his records.

Fantastic show.
I occasionally get goosebumps listening to an artist on certain songs - but in this case I got goosebumps about 10 times while listening to this. It took me back to multiple points in my life - including building a float for homecoming when I was 15.

Being a young teenager when this song came out. And smoking pot everday. This song was magical. And from a writing standpoint such a perfectly crafted song. Maybe the best song Steve Miller ever did. And i still love it today five decades later.

I fell in love with this song fully last year. I always liked it when i was younger but I've just fully appreciated and jammed to it over the last year or so. Genuinely one of my top 10 favourite songs ever. He's rocking it out here at 79 with the same energy tat I hhave for it now in my 30's. Absolutely brilliant!

It’s absolutely amazing to see how many great songs came out only by using this 3 -4 cords of a (c, d, f, g) chord progression. And often the songs don’t sound similar to each others.
