Adam Lambert is currently on Broadway at the August Wilson theater performing the role of the Emcee in Cabaret, he's gotten rave reviews for both his singing and acting skills. He was in the northern touring company of Wicked before he went on AI and that took him away from his acting roots into writing and singing music for 15 years. Now he's come back to his roots. He said, as a kid, he always dreamed performing on Broadway and his dream has come true. His partner is Oliver Gliese, who is from Denmark, and they've been together since October of 2020.

I saw this tour from front row center twice and I’ve seen him with queen twice. He makes it hard to look away during a live concert. I love this song since it leans more into rock.
Adam is now playing the Em Cee in "Cabaret at the KitKat Club" on Broadway to absolutely rave reviews. He also has just been a judge on The Voice Australia. His partner is called Oliver and they've been together for 4 years next year,

I attended this concert in my country. Love it so much that I bought tickets at another country to watch it again. When Adam came back again couple of years later, the company that handle the staging rented one of my drum set for the show. Because of this I get to to be at the side stage watching the show. Muahaha.
Because Adam fully expresses his individuality, it gives others representation in this closed minded world. It’s important. Reconsider why this would ever bother you. I discovered Adam during the covid lockdown. I happily went down the rabbit hole especially when I discovered he sang with my favorite band Queen. I went to see him in Vegas and was blown away! Saw Queen with him a couple of times last year and it was amazing! I hope you read this message. I had requested a paid reaction during a live. I'm from Utah too and I'm trying to get him to perform here. I know he's becoming really popular and has a number of venues to choose from across the US and world. Hopefully he doesn't get too big before we get him to Utah. He's a 15 yr old blues/rock guitar phenomenon Taj Farrant. He released his first album Chapter One recently. It has been the #1 on the worldwide iTunes worldwide blues charts and is currently #2 on Billboard Blues charts. I recently flew to Phoenix to see Taj. There were fans from around the country there to see his 2 shows. He's a really great nice kid but when he's onstage you don't think of his age. He becomes one with his guitar. He feels every note and takes you with him. I still have a hard time telling people how great it was. Like Adam singing you have Taj on the guitar. He sings too. He has a gravely voice that is made for the blues. Taj started playing guitar at 7. By 9 he had played with Rob Thomas and Orianthi and had been on Australia's Got Talent. He played with Carlos Santana at 10 and was on The Ellen Show and was the youngest player signed by Gibson. He's stayed independent so he's advertising is done by word of mouth and the internet. Taj and his family moved to the US last year to further his career. In this past year he's sold out shows across the US, performed at some big festivals like Lollapalooza, Telluride and Big Blues Bender to name a few. He's opened and performed with Buddy Guy, perform with Christone Kingfish Ingram and Eric Gales. Was the guest performer at the 40th anniversary celebration for Prince and the release of Purple Rain. Opened for Morris Day and Prince's band New Power Generation. He performed Purple Rain with NPG and performed at Paisley Park. He recorded at Prince's studio and was able to listen to some of Prince's unreleased music in the vault. He wrote and recorded his first album with producer Ken Lewis, who had won a Grammy on 2023 for his work on Taylor Swift's album. You need to find one of the videos from a Queen concert where Adam uses his voice to battle Brian on guitar. It's pretty magic - especially live. His voice and range are simply unmatched.

I dont think there's a word that can say exactly just how incredible Adam's voice is. The word just doesnt exist so incredible will have to do. He's so magnificent he ruins other singers for you(me). Ive always loved Sleepwalker since For Your Entertainment came out. Any version is my favorite version but yeah he puts way more emotion into it live when he has the energy of the crowd to play off of. I really enjoy hearing other people give Adam his due especially people who know what they are talking about unlike me whos not vocally trained but just knows Adam gives me many many eargasms and frisson shivers. I was with Adam through Trespasser's release but then drifted away for a few years during a lull and finally came back in October. i have had him in my ears ever since. He wrote a lot of the songs on Trespasser, Majority of the songs on The Original High, All the songs on Velvet. High Drama is full of elevated covers. AFTERS EP is his nasty era dance music and he wrote on all the songs but cvnty. I love how each album has its own little story with the music style he uses throughout. Oh, there's also Two Fux which is a favorite of mine that was only a single. Hopefully i didnt remember wrong cause im not going to the cd booklets to read the writers but going from memory. Hope that helps.
Sleepwalker was my favorite track on his debut album. I love it more than Whataya Want From Me. I love the live version more, as it showcased Adam's incredible range and power. And to add, OMG, the dramatic in his vocals just close the deal for me. Adam is an incredible vocalist and performer.

"Soothing yet powerful" is a fantastic description there. 😆 It's not soothing by the end of the song heh, but strong belting isn't a surprising phenomenon. Soothing power seems counter-intuitive, yet there we are. And it comes across more in live performances rather than studio versions with the myriad manipulations involved. Also, I think one of the reasons live versions are better - more dynamic changing up of the repeated words/verses.
I recommend always listening to Adam live. His studio stuff is good, but there's nothing like the emotion he puts into his stage performances. He's currently on Broadway playing the emcee in Cabaret, and I'm just hoping there will be a live cast recording since there's no way I can afford to go.
His live performances are always better, in my opinion. He gets such energy from his audiences. I've been a fan since American Idol. Can't say I've every heard him sing anything less than stellar. He does a live version of his song "Closer To You" that mows your lawn and lies to your wife.

Ive loved his voice since he was on Idol. I catch a lot of flack for being a big fan of his music because he is gay, but I really dont care. He is phenomenal. He could sing thr phonebook and I'd listen to him. Those that give me flack are just insecure about their own masculinity. I'm not. I just recognize talent when I see or hear it.

I always prefer live version of all Adam's songs. He is the best! Who else is possible sing live like him? And without any autotune? IMO his live versions are always better than all recordings. Thank you so much for your reaction!
Guitarist - is Monte Pittman - metal dude now in Ministry, great guitarist. He was Madonna's teacher and then her touring guitarist for many years on stage with her (he taught her Pantera riffs she throws in sometimes)
"Soothing yet powerful" is a fantastic description there. 😆 It's not soothing by the end of the song heh, but strong belting isn't a surprising phenomenon. Soothing power seems counter-intuitive, yet there we are. And it comes across more in live performances rather than studio versions with the myriad manipulations involved.
Also, I think one of the reasons live versions are better - more dynamic changing up of the repeated words/verses.

I recommend always listening to Adam live. His studio stuff is good, but there's nothing like the emotion he puts into his stage performances. He's currently on Broadway playing the emcee in Cabaret, and I'm just hoping there will be a live cast recording since there's no way I can afford to go.

His live performances are always better, in my opinion. He gets such energy from his audiences. I've been a fan since American Idol. Can't say I've every heard him sing anything less than stellar. He does a live version of his song "Closer To You" that mows your lawn and lies to your wife.
Ahhh but he was classically trained, he can sing opera. He not married but he has had a partner whom he lives with his name is Oliver since 2020. He mostly co-writes with other writers. His Album Velvet is all originals co-written by Adam.

Ive loved his voice since he was on Idol. I catch a lot of flack for being a big fan of his music because he is gay, but I really dont care. He is phenomenal. He could sing thr phonebook and I'd listen to him. Those that give me flack are just insecure about their own masculinity. I'm not. I just recognize talent when I see or hear it.

He has written some of his own stuff. I think a lot of velvet was written by him. at the very least he’s usually collaborating with another writer or more than one writer. At the beginning of his career songs were almost all written for him
