Came out nice. I did the sport hood swap on my 98, changes the whole look. I think I'd probably paint the rear bumper and the chrome around the grille that color you did the front bumper to match if anything.
You’ve given me a ton of motivation to push forward on my 1999 4Runner Limited restoration project. Last week I spent well over $500 in it n’ hopefully I get it running this week. You should totally paint the rear bumper and the rims the same color as the trim and hopefully a set of front seats come up for ya! (Hopefully you also find a set of trim for the front bumper)
It's a great 4Runner, and job well done! PLEASE replace the radiator and the lower ball joints, at least. Automatic Transmissions are ridiculously expensive and the ball joints fail expensively, sometimes taking out your fenders, not to mention being a safety hazard for everyone on the road with you. Both of these are relatively inexpensive things to do.
Excellent job

You got this! These things are just like playing with legos, one piece at a time.
I really enjoy your format. Keep it up!
Thanks for taking us along on the journey!
Looks amazing. Good luck finding those seats!
I have a '98 with equally bad front and passenger seats, I will try doing the same thing you've done.
Well done
Looks like you did a good job on this. Hopefully you’ll find the right seats but the current ones are an improvement

We called this "Seeruf" surf in English 😊
It looks great. A quick question why didn't you paint the rear bumper to match with the front one?
Great job
We need more videos on the 4runner. Maybe a lift and some tires
Its the small details that matter the most
Niiiice man👍🏾but I see u didn't touch the engine 🤫any plans on doing that?
Good call out! I did a fluid change and cleaned it when I first got it. If/when I service the WP/TB then I’ll put a video up.
@@musiccityautomotive ok kool
Any idea how to fix the tailgate lock?
Katz Skinz, they can customize seats.
I wish I can buy this and import to Canada.
I'd jack this up and drop some fat tires
You mind sharing how much it cost for all the paint supplies
For the paint/reducer etc I believe it was like ~$500
@@musiccityautomotive cheers mate, I appreciate you
Did you hammer out the dents on bumper
where did you get the leather for seat covers?
eBay
Seems like Japan import cars have the worst leather seats, Honda, Acura, Nissans, Toyota, Maybe Lexus a little better.
