while this method could get some gunk and grime out of the controllers mechanical movement ... it will NOT repair out of spec pots which is the actual reason for 90% of failures when it comes to drifting sticks on all current consoles "xbox ps4/5 pc etc" ... real fixes are things like helders analog stick drift fix boards ... gulikit tmr replacement sticks or just normal replacement sticks.... otherwise great video on cleaning a controller without tearing it down!
