The whole record puts the "roll" into rock & roll with a great groove! (A really good band helps, too - someone spent a few bucks on this one, and it shows.) Great post, PJ!
How about the Jive Five's "My True Story". The intro sure sounds like this. Other aspects are from other doo wop songs. All the pieces combined sound super. This is a keeper.
