@brintyart I recommend you to do your straps around a cotton strap so it doesn't stretch. Other option in using an old tote bag as a lining and keeping the tote bag's straps

For your crochet bags, if you just sew in a cotton liner, they won't sag. I don't think it would be that hard.
I did for the last one I made but the strap still stretched so much :,(
