I grew up before cell phones and personal pc's and these were the types of things I filled my days with. Now I am in my 50's and I know how to do everything on your list (and am delighted when I find something new I've never tried). Great video! I love my creative hobbies. I crochet, knit, sew, bake bread and just starten a junk journal and love reading. Creativity is healing. The one thing I would tell people when they start some thing new, like a creative hobby, is to not get caught up in "its not pretty enough" because it doesnt matter. It is the journey that is the goal.
I loved how you let the music play with the black screen in the end of the video. That just gave me time to think about your words before being thrown other video suggestions in the face. Thanks to that, I put the phone down and started doing some of the crafts😊
I love crocheting and knitting, and I tend to listen to youtube videos (like yours lol) while I crochet. Right now, for example, I'm croheting a blanket!
Hi Gigi! I’d love to see back to school outfit ideas, as well as organizing to limit stress for exams and stuff. I Love you videos! Your personality is everything ❤
I've seen somewhere that it's important to have a hobby for expression, a hobby for fitness and a hobby for intelligence. So, I'm also going to suggest some intellectual ideas: 1. Learning a new language --- This is just generally really important in the modern day, and it forces you to think about stuff such as grammar rules and spelling even in your native language that you take for granted. Great exercise for the brain. 2. Watching science/history/etc videos --- They're just interesting. You can actually study the video if you want, but you can also just lay back and enjoy it. 3. Learning how to program/code --- Not only is it nice to be able to create programs which you find helpful, but it's also an increasingly important and demanded skill. There are even large communities where you can help to create and improve open-source programs, which is really nice. Programs can be used for all sorts of things and make pretty much any task easier, so I like when people make them accessible. 4. Reading --- You can learn a lot of things from reading, even from fiction! 5. Playing board games --- The good ones require you to think and strategize --- especially stuff like chess.
TO MY VOLLEYBALL GIRLIES: another fun craft is embroidering on you knee pads. if you put the knots in the folds of the pads you can't feel them and it makes the plain black/white knee pads so pretty. one of mine has a blanket stitch(look it up :) ) border on the top and bottom, and the other has a bunch of fun shapes and like a flower, a bee(oh my gosh, i love bees), stuff like that. this really could work for any sport with pads or socks(my soccer socks have bows on the sidesss) this is just what ive done thus far!
@javaeslimesshorts494 I stitch it into the layer of like stretchy fabric(if thats even what it could be called lol) over the pad so its not actually on the pad! I suppose they are all dofferent so it could depend on the brand but thats what works on mine! OO or~~ around the top and bottom give them a border live simple lines or maybe more vine-y or give it a theme idk i feel like there is so much room for imagination
Amazing content in this video! I rarely suggest anything in comments, but the book women’s magic truths on borlest is a game-changer. It provides deep knowledge on wealth and self-care that can really make a difference. Take care, everyone
Cable knitting is shockingly easy, but looks so impressive! My grandma taught me to crochet when I was 8 yrs old. She's gone now and it still connects me to her.
My entire life, I have been painting. I pretty much everything water colour, pencil sketch, acrylic painting. I’m just now you gave me the idea to put my heart in my room. Thank you.
Few of my creative hobbies that aren’t mentioned are : I make my own charms out of polymer clay and then hand paint them Coloring books Album journal - I listen to an album write a track list rate it etc Scrapbooking
This video helped me realize how much I could do in my life instead of wasting hours on screen time, which doesn't benefit me. I'm making a to-do list right now!
Hi! I’m so excited to see you back! It may be winter for me but I’ll be spending the rest of it rehearsing and starting performances for Pride and Prejudice!
For anyone that needs time stamps: 1. Calico critter keychains - 2:48 2.costom phone case - 3:16 3.Crochet - 3:30 (Cant do the hole thing because i just realized how long it it sorry❤)
This was really insightful! You explained everything so clearly, and it’s super helpful. I learned a lot from this video. Definitely looking forward to more content like this!
omg junk journaling…ive been doing this in conjunction with bullet journaling (i keep my bullet journal Nice and my junk journal Garbage. so that i dont feel so pressured with either) and i had no idea it was called that lol anyway i used this video as motivation when i was already feeling Blah about being on my phone and it gave me the secondary motivation to clean my bathroom and shower!! something about your attitude and videos seems to do that for me; make me want to get up and actually move. so thank u
i needed this video! it's inspired me to really get back into collaging in a book. also i've been having a phone addiction as well, so i will definitely keep coming back to this video for ideas! especially with going back to school in 2 weeks!
Thank you Queen for giving me some activity ideas! I've recently been putting my phone on dnd because I wanna reduce my screen time. This was very useful :3
gigi please post new videos because I have nothing else to watch!!!🎀 maybe something from back to school? maybe autumn outfits? I need the autumn series to liveee
During Covid I got into embroidery, and I embroidered a handful of turtlenecks and towels and overalls. I really really regret donating some of the things I made because they weren’t “perfect”. This inspired me to try getting back into it (and maybe painting candles cuz that was SO CUTE)
omg this is soo helpfull its the FIRST day of a week long vacation and i have plans for 4 of the 7 days and today is one of the days where i have nothing planned and i feel, like you said in the beginning, anxious about it
Hi Gigi! I would like to see video about "how to don't procrastinate in autumn" or like how to don't fall in autumn depression, or how to don't be sad of the end of the summer and start of school.. Thanks! Bye!❤ And I am from Ukraine😅
Hii one hour! I'm subscribed, I LOVE your channel, thx so much! Could you do a back-to-school supplies, (stationary etc.) and clothes and glow up and reset? I know it's a lot but YOU CAN DO IT!
I had no idea how to use my sewing machine and went to a lady for some basic classes. We made a quilt. It was SO easy... 100% the easiest thing to sew.
This was my sole incentive to get off my phone :) Love the idea of you trying out the crafts - also would love to see a video about graduation things (Senior year of high school tips, starting college etc.) Much love 🎀💗
the thing that kind of ruined ‘being creative’ for me, was art lessons in high school. There are so many restrictions that you are limited by and there are so many expectations you have to meet to get a good grade. At the end you also haven show the work you made and we basically rate each others work, it is absolutely devastating. I’m quite the perfectionist and I will often make a very huge and fantastic plan, only to procrastinate about it because I don’t know where to begin and everything I do doesn’t look right. Then I end up not finishing it on time or finishing it without doing what I initially wanted to do and therefore my ‘reasoning’ behind the work isn’t good enough, which then results in a lower grade. It truly is ruining and taking away my creativity. art class feels so competitive.
Such a valuable video! I don’t often promote books, but the book women’s magic truths on borlest is an exception. It’s packed with insights on wealth and self-care that are not widely known. All the best to everyone
Hey girl, loveddd your video. Now i badly wanna learn how to sew because you. by the way thanks for this, looking forward to your soon to be upload videos.

Programs can be used for all sorts of things and make pretty much any task easier, so I like when people make them accessible.
4. Reading --- You can learn a lot of things from reading, even from fiction!
5. Playing board games --- The good ones require you to think and strategize --- especially stuff like chess.
this video has given me such a huge perspective on how u can actually make a lot of time i learning new things and stop scrolling on reels tiktok etc
TO MY VOLLEYBALL GIRLIES:
another fun craft is embroidering on you knee pads. if you put the knots in the folds of the pads you can't feel them and it makes the plain black/white knee pads so pretty. one of mine has a blanket stitch(look it up :) ) border on the top and bottom, and the other has a bunch of fun shapes and like a flower, a bee(oh my gosh, i love bees), stuff like that.
this really could work for any sport with pads or socks(my soccer socks have bows on the sidesss) this is just what ive done thus far!
omg so fun! how do you avoid messing up the pads tho??
@javaeslimesshorts494 I stitch it into the layer of like stretchy fabric(if thats even what it could be called lol) over the pad so its not actually on the pad! I suppose they are all dofferent so it could depend on the brand but thats what works on mine!
OO or~~ around the top and bottom give them a border live simple lines or maybe more vine-y or give it a theme idk i feel like there is so much room for imagination
@ OMG thank you! im thinking of doing lace with bows along the rims!
@javaeslimesshorts494 girl i LOVE that idea! lmk how that turns out if you do it!
Imma try this :)
Amazing content in this video! I rarely suggest anything in comments, but the book women’s magic truths on borlest is a game-changer. It provides deep knowledge on wealth and self-care that can really make a difference. Take care, everyone
You should totally do a video with u doing some of these creative activities, that would be awesome!

Hi Gigi, I was thinking that you can make a video of doing hobbies full day and then rating them😊
During Covid I got into embroidery, and I embroidered a handful of turtlenecks and towels and overalls. I really really regret donating some of the things I made because they weren’t “perfect”. This inspired me to try getting back into it (and maybe painting candles cuz that was SO CUTE)
I love the video. Theses are such good ispirations. I'll definetly come back here!!

Some other ideas: spin yarn, act out Shakespeare, read poetry, make tea ❤
I sew for a living (production sewing) an i sell all my different artwork on the side. Even I got great ideas from this thank you
the thing that kind of ruined ‘being creative’ for me, was art lessons in high school.
I also have an idea! What about making pop up books?❤
I really enjoyed watching the video 💜💜💜💜💜🦋
Lobotomies made cute!!! lmfao im sorry that part about lobotomies killed me
36yo woman here I love this very inspiring video 💜
Such a valuable video! I don’t often promote books, but the book women’s magic truths on borlest is an exception. It’s packed with insights on wealth and self-care that are not widely known. All the best to everyone
