- This is how I use Archetype: Nolly, Fortin Cali and Plini all from the same MIDI foot controller.
This also includes restream for OBS / Screen Capture and Sonarworks Room Correction profiles! Big problems require big brain solutions!
For the low low quality on full screen, I will have another look at my OBS settings!

Thanks for the video. Let me get this straight:
1) you connected your guitar to the computer using a guitar cable going into an audio interface which is connected to the computer via USB.
2) you then used the behringer FCB1010 , connected it to a MIDI-USB interface which is then connected to the second USB slot in your computer.
3) your audio driver is ASIO with input and output channels selected as the I/O of your interface
4) the neural dsp plug-ins recognise the fcb1010 (or the roland UM MKII, or whatever USB MIDI interface you’re using) to send the PC and CC messages
5) you’re using the stock firmware of the fcb1010
You only talked about the software side of things, which is fine but it’s the modular nature of the setup which is more confusing. Programming the MIDI device is a pain too but it would have been great if u started right from the beginning.
Maaaaaan this video makes my day!!! I'm struggling for a long time making this midi footcontroller works. Now, with this help I'm on half of the way to complete a functional digital rig. Now I've to figured out how to solve my Fcb1010-to-Pc communication issue.

loved this, i just got my FCB and this got me to set it up for standalone in under an hour! PLEASE do one about inside a daw, specifically reaper or ableton would be sweet. also side note for all, i have a windows laptop and a scarlett solo with NO midi inputs, but was directed to buy the Roland UM ONE Midi to USB and it recognizes the pedal and works!! even has a switch on it for PC or Mac. you're welcome !

Great video! But why don't you just have a different amp(s) in different graphs and switch between them? Or is there is a lag in between the graph switching? Gig performer is supposed to work instantaneously so I assume this does the same?
Great informative video. I have a neural dsp soldano going into reason 12 connected by a behringer umc404hd and thinking about purchasing a FBC1010 to switch from dirty to clean presets and use one of the pedals as a volume.
Can you control a DAW record, play etc from the FBC1010 controller?
my takeaway from this video is. I've found Element again! I actually have known it before when it has Pro version, but I can't afford it because of priorities (family, responsibilities etc.)
Now I can try to route my VST plug-ins using Element!
So can I do this this with individual tracks from a DAW like logic instead of using the stand alone plugins? Using each track as preset so to speak? I want to use a few reverb plugins along with the neural stuff. Cant get over FF ProR. Gotta have that in there somehow.
Are you running this within a DAW? I have no problem setting up my midi controller in the neural DSP standalone version, everything works fine, but inside the DAW ( I’m using studio one 5 ) I can’t get it to learn the preset changes. Hoping maybe you could help out.

I was looking for a way to control STL AmpHub with a midi controller! It seems to be worth the headache lol. One question... please tell me the delay and reverb can cross-over when switching presets (does it continue to ring, or the fx cut?). This is the only thing i miss from my Axe Fx and Kemper.

I actually need to do a new version of this video, because I figured out a way to do that so the FX carry on after patch changing. Its a more complex setup, but ooooooooh boy is it good once its done.
I'll try and get it done soon. Want to work out the kinks first
The trick is to keep your patches/sounds separate from the FX

hey men i have the same setup, but in my case i can use the PC messages from the FCB... my way to use is a little bit different I have the 10 presets (1 clean, 2 Edge, 3 crunch... 10 Metal), in the Plugins (Nolly and Plini)i have the 10 preset, the clean sound is made by Plini, so nolly is muted the second is the same clean busted with th od + the clean amp from nolly (you can use more than one plugin at the same time if you find the right spot for the IR), my '80 glam sound is the 5150 from nolly and the second apm form plini busted and it sounds like a monster. So For everybody who is trying this yes you can but is a kick in the jewels XD.

If I’m not trying to use multiple plug ins do I still have to make everything I want to change note values?
Running that in Standalone worked for me at least fine with PC# and CC# (using the Mp100 from Harley Benton) but running this shit inside of a DAQ (Reaper in my Case) and also beeing able to record your MIDI input is pure hell.

How do you get Element to find the Neural DSP plug ins? I Have Apple; Element and Kushview in the list but Element will not load Cory Wong Neural DSP nor can I import it. Attempting to load CW form the Unverified plug in menu results in a message "Fatal Error 100000" every time
Ah this sounds like a problem with Element. Try reinstalling Element and if that doesn't help, email Kushview support. That's all I can suggest

I just had a hell of a time just getting a midi expression pedal to work with my Neural Plugins in Ableton. I have to use a separate midi interface and it got complicated fast. Figured it out but Ableton won’t remember the settings when I save it 😭. Got it pretty fast to set up at least now

How did you null in presets in midi mapping doesn't show for me
So isn't it possible to just select & solo a track in a D.A.W ? I'd love to use neural Dsp live with say Valhalla verb and other weird plugins. but I'm not sure the best way to go about it.
plus the delay not continuing when u change a preset is a biggie!

Thanks for review! What's about CPU usage when you starting up all Neural DSP at the same time ? These plugins are very "heavy" for the processor.
They are, yes! Takes a good minute or 2 with the more advanced setup I am running now. CPU sits at a hefty 70-80% usage and struggles to keep up right away.
It's not my computer CPU power either as I have a very new beast of a machine and Element doesnt take it above 5% but the plugin hovers at around 70% when it has been running for a little while.
I plan on doing a more updated version of this video soon as I figured out a GREAT setup for continuing delays and reverbs when changing to pretty much anything now. It's awesome lol
I'll do another video when I have better screen capture quality figured out and know I've got the best setup sorted out. I hate it when I put a video up and change something for the better right after!

I get a fatal 10000 error - does anyone else get the same thing on mac using kushview ??
I got the same issue and I tried every way I could to get past that - following the Guitar School Live YT channel video on how to control multiple Neural DSPs using the FCB1010 and Element - they also use PC, but I'm on Mac.
Neural plugins would only show as Unverified plugins in the scroll menu but even from there I always got the Fatal Error message every single time. BUMMER
Emailed Neural DSP about it, they said Element is not supported ( when clearly some PC users are using it just fine )
That response was pretty vague and they haven't followed up further.
I'm here trying to solve that problem using Element ... or find another way if it's not going to work.
Not doing monthly subs for software. hopefully someone else will make something I can buy and own
You can do a 1 off payment. The sub is to get every update they put out I think. I only paid once for it.
This is the second video I’ve watched where the presenter did not understand the unit himself, nor could he talk without stammering. I can’t follow people when they can’t talk. Obviously, Berhenger needs to make some tutorial videos for this themselves. The 3rd party videos I have seen are no help at all, and in fact, even create more confusion than starting from scratch with a braille manual.
*My man , I have a hella great rig programmed into ELEMENT, However, I can not use midi cc and midi pc changes to control element properly. I use a LIQUID FOOT PRO.. It makes no sense, you care to converse about this?*
