Did this lift with a 55” c9 and it was easy. Now for the 77”. If you actually lift this is light. I was squatting 350 a few years ago but stopped. Tv is only 70-80lbs tops. Just keep arms straight as you can too. Relaxed, but tight grip. You don’t wanna strain a bicep either..

problem with big tvs is not only the weight, which while not overwhelming is still there, but the uncomfortable body position and moves you need to make in order to protect the tv from cracks or scratches. Holding the Tv in a protective and safe manner is very hard because engineers do not design good handles or surfaces you can grab in order to move the TV in a comfortable and safe way.

Sooooooooo, I recently got an LG C1 48inch and unfortunately, I did not know this method. Tell me if I got super lucky for once? I open the box and house mate helps me to lift tv out of box. It was a bit awkward because C1 is only about 5mm thick. Anyway, we lift from box and take about 2 steps, house mate fell over while holding tv 😱 but they kept hold of their end as they fell to the ground. I was like oh fuck the tv and they was like wtf about me on my arse. Obviously I ignored their pitiful cries and had to super man the tv and pick up by myself. Thankfully the tv was absolutely fine and my housemate only bled a little. 😁 Great picture quality.

This what gets me the most with TV. We went back around the 90s and 80s CRT TV were too huge and awkard heavy to life without any support system. TVs should no more than 40inch screen and have more 24-27 inch 16k HDR TVs. Because it same sheet of LEDS companies are cutting.

My TV came with these two plastic pieces taped onto the left and right edge so you can get a good grip. Samsung thinking ahead

I usually respect the videos you publish but I really can't watch this one! This is the video that explains why you should NOT handle a large TV alone. The best thing to do right now is to delete this video as soon as possible. What bad advice to handle a large OLED alone and even then it's only a 65, I would have liked to see you with a 77 or 83 inch ... Why don't you follow the manufacturer's recommendations? You have to remove the central part of the packaging and then put the stand on, leaving the TV upright. Do not lay the TV flat on the floor, as this could deform the screen, even with two people. No, really, what bad advice! What's worse is that you're mounting the stand when there's pressure on the left and right edges of the screen and not on the whole panel. And then you raise the screen by pulling on the top left edge of the screen, while it presses on the bottom right corner. Don't you see and realize that the screen undergoes numerous twists and deformations during this manipulation?

I'm sorry but... calling this TV heavy is laughable... Man... he should be happy not to have lived in the mid 90's with backbreaking "big screen TV's" and for unpacking big screens like this... yea, it's adviced to use 2 people pure sure the size of the item but it can be done alone easily. as long you dont put the TV on a scratchable surface you're fine most of the time.

This channel is usually great, but this video is trash! Bad advise, just don't do it! If you have a 75+ inch, two people or you'll flex the screen or you might drop it or damage it. Not worth it! Just not worth it. Yeah these tvs aren't heavy, but do you want to take a chance? A big tv is just a bit too big for one person, but for two people it is a breeze. Just get a friend or a neighbor, that is it. Really don't follow the advise on this video. It might work out fine, or you might end up regretting it.

That's not how you lift heavy "flat" objets. You are going to injure yourself for sure. Instead do this: Position yourself parallel against the tv and push your right shoulder against the tv, extend your right arm downward completely and twist inward, your right palm should be facing outside. Lower yourself with your right arm in the stainght extended and twisted position and shove your fingers under the tv and hold. Now use your left arm cross your chest to hold the top of the tv. And finally use your legs to stand up. With this position there is no need to apply force to neither of your arms and your back's postion is straight, which means almost zero chance of injury. All forces are transmited to your legs.
    you are welcome

I wall mounted my modestly sized (55”) LG C1 above my fireplace by myself.. it was the most terrifying and anxiety inducing thing I’ve ever done. I would not recommend it, lol.

My dude... I appreciate the tips... but even a 77" TV only weighs, like, fifty pounds these days. If you are a fully grown adult you can lift fifty pounds without this much prep.

Thankfully I realized this after fighting to unbox my 77" C1, I could have had an enjoyable experience, thankfully I avoided that... 🙃
