    I like that you use ingredients that are readily available in most areas. Some recipes use ingredients that are not always found in the Midwest. Thank you for keeping it simple and delicious.

    Just made this with fresh, quartered cherries and blueberries. I also added 1/2t of salt and 1/2t cinnamon to the batter. The streusel topping was delicious. Dusted with powdered sugar... yummy!

    Very nice presentation and looks delicious. I make this dish in a number of ways. Oddly enough I now add pie dough to the bottom of the pan and prebake until slightly brown. The cake batter bakes the same time poured into the pie shell. My crumble always includes pecans and brown sugar.

    Natasha I am fond of the way you present every recipe and I like the way you talk. I tried this recipe and I'm sorry to say that the heat that you mentioned is not enough for the cake. I had to bake for another 15 minutes as it didn't get the sweet spot at 48. And then the cake cooked but the exterior became so hard. For a person who tries this recipe at first, don't try it for an occasion. Make a trial before the actual occasion, I suggest. You are doing a great presentation. Keep it up

    I tried this recipe. My cake came out beautiful! The club soda does make it rise. Thanks for the tip. The only thing is that I feel like the taste of the cake was not like regular cakes made of butter. I was wondering if instead of oil, I could use melted butter?

    Hii I love the berries! For another season can I replace berries with apples ? And if so do I still use lemon zest or cinammon?

    You see I just made a Cookies & Cream Cheesecake and tomorrow I'm making a Lemon Cheesecake with a Ginger Lemon Cookie crust. The 1st one listed is for my daughter's 19th birthday that was on the 1st and the other is for my son's 29th birthday that was May 5th. It's been so crazy we haven't had time to celebrate either one.❤❤❤

    Hii love I make same recipe with berries dozen of time even one time I replace berries with chocolate chips .lemon zest with coffee and soda with buttermilk and its turn out damm delicious ❤❤❤❤

    I made one yesterday with no baking powder and with all purpose flour, and the cake came out great but not as spongy as I'd like. Could I use self rising flour? Great recipe and easy to follow instructions!

      You can make this ahead either store it in a refrigerator or at room temperatire overnight.

    Hey natasha. Just love your recipes. Have tried many of your recipes and they are all super hit. Kindly tell me of awe dont have soda available what can we use for its substitute.
