They have the same shaving head, so either one will give you the same closeness of shave. I have them both and when given the choice, I grab the 7. There is a newer Series 5 and Series 7. Just released a few weeks ago.
Is Andis Titanium TS 2 good for close shave, i know Braun series 9 is good but it's expensive

@@PaulAtreidees outside the Braun Series 9, no electric shaver will get as close as a blade. I was not overly impressed with the Andis.
