Braun series 5 - Disassembly Battery Replacement
Battery Sanyo UR14500AC 750mAh
Weexplain how to replace the battery in a Braun electric . In this case the is of the Series 5, but the procedure is similar with other models/series.
Make sure to check out the hint on the video of how to accomplish this without damaging the plastic housing.
Good luck
I bought mine years ago, but I use it in the shower often and always wondered what the inside looked like and if I could replace the battery. I’m glad they’re built this well and thanks for showing me how to do it.
@@GreyDuckoftheNorth Thank you
Wow looks pretty well designed for battery replacement.
Not realy. Mine doesn't work after change.
@@eichof01 Battery in the right way? Was the replacement battery a dud? What happens if you put in the old battery again?
@@fairtony The old batterie was undercharged, I recharged it to the right level, but it doesn't detect it anymore. Didn't tried a new one. The support told me they have a special device when the change the batterie and keep it under voltage otherwise the chip will be deactivated.
Dziękuję, super instrukcja wymiany.
@@maltan3943 bardzo się cieszę że pomogłem. Pozdrawiam
Great video 💯 This man is a life saver!!
Does this guide also work for the series 6 or can you make a separate video on that one if possible
Thank you. Great video. 😊
good jobs buddy thanks !
the battery/motor housing 🤯
what size is the Torx screw driver
I’m confused, I want to change my battery but why is everyone in the comments saying it will blow the board? Is it not as easy as doing it like the video?
I ordered a new battery from eBay, copied that video 10 minutes ago, it has powered on and seems fine to me.
@@tomknight thank you!!!
Didn't work for me. My battery was low so I reloaded it with an external charger to 4.2Volt. Know the shaver will not load it anymore. The support told me when you take out the battery the shaver must be on load otherwise it will damage the circuit board.
My circuit board burned out night.......
I replaced my battery and the board blew out as well
@eichof01 could you explain a bit more please. What do you mean by the shaver has to be on load? Do you mean it has to be connected to the power cable or the old battery should be fully charged?
The board must hold a current, when you swap out the battery
Thanks for the reply. Sorry for being dumb but what does that mean exactly how does the board hold a current? Or let me rephrase the question. What should I not do to prevent the defect?
