To me, Thomas in 2015 is like Sonic in 2017. They put out TWO big anniversary projects.
One is a nostalgia based passionate celebration made by fans FOR fans (The Adventure Begins/Sonic Mania) and the other is the overhyped big boi that was too pretentious and full of itself that was supposed to cap off the celebration but left quite a bit to be desired that used nostalgia to mask it's glaring problems. (Sodors Legend of the Lost Treasure/ Sonic Forces).

@@jayskeletyn I used to enjoy SLOTLT, but upon rewatch, the way Thomas was characterized in that special just rubbed me the wrong way.......a LOT.

@@jayskeletyn I mean people love to rag on the Fat Controller for rightfully chewing Thomas out, but they seem to act like the way Thomas acts in the movie is true to his character when it really isn't.
Thomas is definitely my favorite childhood show of all time.
