I dont understand what is so complicated,you already have your CDL"s and all you have to do is drive a truck and save money,You will have to depend on GOD and yourself. Build your family a good four room cabin with a real roof and bathroom. Forget the campstead business and do what is needed for that little boy. Put him first. Everything else will fall into place. Then get a job with insurance.

Camping, atving and all that is fun… on weekends. Start making money, get a decent place, get a decent shop to store toys and woodwork. That’s the dream. In order to better yourself in life you have to work to achieve. Chris was always working and had achieved so much until H entered his life, then it was downhill all the way. He can crawl out of the hole he is in, and get himself back to earning, with a roof over his head, food on the table a safe environment for his son, and NO MORE sponging of others!
A job is your only way out of this. Keep the land and let that be your hobby and recreation. If you have a job you may qualify for work release if you do end up with a sentence. It will be worse if you go before a judge unemployed. You will be deemed a transient. A job will benefit you financially, you’ll be less isolated and lonely, you’ll meet new people and that will build a network of better prospects and opportunities. It will help you immensely mentally to keep your mind focused on something else. Being in the woods, alone, with no cash flow, trying to build a woodshop so that you can make trinkets to sell is a dead end. You need a job and you need one quick.

Nobody is forcing you to stay there. You seem to be wanting sympathy but you put yourself in the position that you are in. You always talked about how broke you were. Your son deserves a chance to better himself and as a father, you should want that for him. I’m sorry to sound harsh but you both needed to be working toward providing a better life as you have lived in poverty for a long time now. God is great and yes he can provide but we all have to do our part too.
Stay strong. Y don't u go and get a truck driving job during the week and stay on the land the weekend. That way u get a break from the land and make money and still have ur wood working stuff. Dumpster diving on the weekend also. Good luck!

It’s your right to home school but I feel like they learn more in school . Not just basic classes but social skills , sports vocational education and more ! I understand what you’re trying to say but you can’t have your son in the woods 24/7. That isn’t a life for a child. He has to go into the world and live and experience it. Going to school and making friends and interacting with other adults other than you and Hollie. He has to make friends his age. I think you are listening to too many people and horror stories about school and that’s why you’re anti school. It’s not a perfect system but it’s the law. You may not like it but it is what it is. The day you got arrested could have been avoided if you had just signed the papers they wanted you to sign Ellion wouldn’t have had to see you get arrested. There is a time and a place for everything but bucking the law isn’t one of them. Sometimes you have to swallow your pride and do what’s right. U need to go into court showing the judge that u have gotten a job and that Holly is living wherever but has registered Ellion in homeschool and that u are doing TH-cam as ur second job becuz u do want ur son to be able to learn building and ride four wheelers. If u go into court to court showing the judge that u learned ur lesson and ur working hard at a job (a real job) and providing for ur family then maybe the judge will give u a chance! If u go into court like poor me I wasn’t doing anything wrong then ur guna end up learning another hard lesson. Plzz listen and I think the judge will give u a chance! A lot of parents would like to stay home with their child but it’s hard to do that in this world now. Kids deserve a stable home with a roof over their head. Chris I would definitely ask to set up a meeting with the judge. He needs to know the crazy crap that has happened due to you and Hollie having a TH-cam channel. I feel like it’s important he or she knows about TH-cam. I feel like if they knew the history of CPS calls time and time again, and always turning out that y’all weren’t doing anything wrong and that Ellion was taken care of. I know you are strong on your faith, as we all should be. But I feel when it comes to judges, they don’t care about anything religion because they feel they went to school for years and go off everything taught through law school, and not the Bible. What are they saying you contributed to a minor? I’m sorry you are going through all of this, but Chris, authorities do not care about our rights. My heart breaks for you. Christian schools usually have open door policies for under privileged children as it’s a write off. Ellion seems happiest playing with other children. That would give you and hollie both the time to earn a living for your child. Ellion deserves an outstanding education and at seven kids are learning multiplication, division, geography, complex tech skills. Dreams are ideas and you can’t pay the piper with what is on your head. Tarps only last a season or two. I wish you and your family well. Sometimes the hard way is the right way for a reason. Fathers go off to work to provide a life of substance for their loved ones and select a good mother for a reason as well. It all gets harder the older you get.
@ I think it depends on the school and I know of two families that were just asked to donate time once a month. Their child received more one on one attention and got off the bus with a smile each day vs frustration it was life changing. My neighbors daughter now is a teacher in the Catholic school system vs the public and she just told me how the classes surprised her as they are more behaved so she can actually teach vs try and get the attention of an unruly class room. For limited income families they find a way. I would think especially now.

Ok you are at the end ..time to grow up... your child needed a home and a real father..He needed a house with a real bedroom for himself...needed to go to school to have friends his age...but you wanted a work shop to work in, you would of been so busy playing in your workshop and have no time for your wife and child... you were already sleeping in seperate places... what is a family today? She is right this was your dream to build a workshop... you split up with you wife when you decided to have your own youtube channel and left your wife to herself. Im sad to see a family fall apart for so little reason.

2 Thessalonians 3:10-13 read this Chris not that I think you are idle but I think God might want you to work a job to earn money to provide for your Family as they should be your priority not a Workshop, the Bible clearly states that the Man is the head of his household and a provider. I definitely think though down the road wether you buy or build a Workshop you definitely will produce some amazing woodwork pieces for sale but for now that doesn’t seem like a priority, money and stability might be the best policy and way forward for you. To be a good Dad you have to first set a good example for your Son to follow and to be able to look up to you. The situation with the Police was avoidable and I think this really was the last straw for Ellion and Hollie. You are a good man with a good heart but somehow have lost your way and a little deluded , you are more capable than you give yourself credit for.
Chris, we all understand how much you miss your son, and we know life can be tough. Take some time for yourself-maybe visit your daughter, brother, and the rest of your family. Or dive back into making videos about dumpster diving if that's something you enjoy. You could work for a bit, save up, and treat yourself to a workshop when the time is right. Keep your land. Chris, the best thing you could do for your son is to take that lumber and build a cabin with running water. It should have come first and then your dream second! I am 75 years old and raised 4 sons. Their father and I did without so our children could have. We always had a roof over our heads and both of us worked. My husband passed away young at 47 and I had a young son that I had to provide for. I worked to keep our home and food on our table. The greatest thing, there was love in my home. Our sons have all turned out to be fine men with families and homes of their own. I have watched your channel since Ellion was little. He has never had a stable home. He has only known moving from one camping spot to another until you bought this land. Hollie wanted a cabin to live in and that should have been the first thing you both worked on. You started one and then went on to another project and that one didn't work out, then on to something else. Ask Our Heavenly Father for guidance in what He wants you to do. It's a spiritual battle, Chris, and you must stay strong and stay the course. I've watched you since the trailer park and have been inspired because you and Hollie were the picture of decent people still left in the world. I just bought a house in 2022, and I have an AH neighbor. Looking in my window, trespassing, waking me up in the middle of the night. I wanted to 🔫 him so badly, but then I would be in prison and l would lose my house. I cried to God and stopped reacting. I also reported him to my Rep, and I have been learning to sleep again, praying harder and talking to God. You are a good person, good people, and the person who caused all this will pay 4 times over. Don't despair;don't give in to the negativity and keep building your buildings. If Hollie hasn't done so, she needs to comply with the state's requirements to show Elion is being homeschooled. You can explain to the Judge it was never your intent to not provide an education for your son and Hollie was in charge of the academic part of Elion's education and you were in charge of teaching him life skills. Hollie should give you a list of the educational tools she used and uses and having that proof should help you show you weren't against Elion being educated you just didn't want him being educated in public school.

In order to better yourself in life you have to work to achieve. Chris was always working and had achieved so much until H entered his life, then it was downhill all the way. He can crawl out of the hole he is in, and get himself back to earning, with a roof over his head, food on the table a safe environment for his son, and NO MORE sponging of others!
A job is your only way out of this. Keep the land and let that be your hobby and recreation. If you have a job you may qualify for work release if you do end up with a sentence. It will be worse if you go before a judge unemployed. You will be deemed a transient. A job will benefit you financially, you’ll be less isolated and lonely, you’ll meet new people and that will build a network of better prospects and opportunities. It will help you immensely mentally to keep your mind focused on something else. Being in the woods, alone, with no cash flow, trying to build a woodshop so that you can make trinkets to sell is a dead end. You need a job and you need one quick.

Going to school and making friends and interacting with other adults other than you and Hollie. He has to make friends his age. I think you are listening to too many people and horror stories about school and that’s why you’re anti school. It’s not a perfect system but it’s the law. You may not like it but it is what it is. The day you got arrested could have been avoided if you had just signed the papers they wanted you to sign Ellion wouldn’t have had to see you get arrested. U need to go into court showing the judge that u have gotten a job and that Holly is living wherever but has registered Ellion in homeschool and that u are doing TH-cam as ur second job becuz u do want ur son to be able to learn building and ride four wheelers. If u go into court to court showing the judge that u learned ur lesson and ur working hard at a job (a real job) and providing for ur family then maybe the judge will give u a chance! If u go into court like poor me I wasn’t doing anything wrong then ur guna end up learning another hard lesson. Plzz listen and I think the judge will give u a chance! I feel like it’s important he or she knows about TH-cam. I feel like if they knew the history of CPS calls time and time again, and always turning out that y’all weren’t doing anything wrong and that Ellion was taken care of. I know you are strong on your faith, as we all should be. But I feel when it comes to judges, they don’t care about anything religion because they feel they went to school for years and go off everything taught through law school, and not the Bible.

My heart breaks for you. Christian schools usually have open door policies for under privileged children as it’s a write off. Ellion seems happiest playing with other children. That would give you and hollie both the time to earn a living for your child. Ellion deserves an outstanding education and at seven kids are learning multiplication, division, geography, complex tech skills. Dreams are ideas and you can’t pay the piper with what is on your head. Tarps only last a season or two. I wish you and your family well. Sometimes the hard way is the right way for a reason. Fathers go off to work to provide a life of substance for their loved ones and select a good mother for a reason as well. It all gets harder the older you get.

@ I think it depends on the school and I know of two families that were just asked to donate time once a month. Their child received more one on one attention and got off the bus with a smile each day vs frustration it was life changing. My neighbors daughter now is a teacher in the Catholic school system vs the public and she just told me how the classes surprised her as they are more behaved so she can actually teach vs try and get the attention of an unruly class room. For limited income families they find a way. I would think especially now.

2 Thessalonians 3:10-13 read this Chris not that I think you are idle but I think God might want you to work a job to earn money to provide for your Family as they should be your priority not a Workshop, the Bible clearly states that the Man is the head of his household and a provider. I definitely think though down the road wether you buy or build a Workshop you definitely will produce some amazing woodwork pieces for sale but for now that doesn’t seem like a priority, money and stability might be the best policy and way forward for you. To be a good Dad you have to first set a good example for your Son to follow and to be able to look up to you. The situation with the Police was avoidable and I think this really was the last straw for Ellion and Hollie. You are a good man with a good heart but somehow have lost your way and a little deluded , you are more capable than you give yourself credit for.
Chris, we all understand how much you miss your son, and we know life can be tough. Take some time for yourself-maybe visit your daughter, brother, and the rest of your family. Or dive back into making videos about dumpster diving if that's something you enjoy. You could work for a bit, save up, and treat yourself to a workshop when the time is right. Keep your land. Chris, the best thing you could do for your son is to take that lumber and build a cabin with running water. It should have come first and then your dream second! I am 75 years old and raised 4 sons. Their father and I did without so our children could have. We always had a roof over our heads and both of us worked. My husband passed away young at 47 and I had a young son that I had to provide for. I worked to keep our home and food on our table. The greatest thing, there was love in my home. Our sons have all turned out to be fine men with families and homes of their own. I have watched your channel since Ellion was little. He has never had a stable home. He has only known moving from one camping spot to another until you bought this land. Hollie wanted a cabin to live in and that should have been the first thing you both worked on. You started one and then went on to another project and that one didn't work out, then on to something else. Ask Our Heavenly Father for guidance in what He wants you to do. It's a spiritual battle, Chris, and you must stay strong and stay the course. I've watched you since the trailer park and have been inspired because you and Hollie were the picture of decent people still left in the world. I just bought a house in 2022, and I have an AH neighbor. Looking in my window, trespassing, waking me up in the middle of the night. I wanted to 🔫 him so badly, but then I would be in prison and l would lose my house. I cried to God and stopped reacting. I also reported him to my Rep, and I have been learning to sleep again, praying harder and talking to God. You are a good person, good people, and the person who caused all this will pay 4 times over. Don't despair;don't give in to the negativity and keep building your buildings. It takes a great deal of talent and skill to do what you do and you are much admired. Don't let them drive you from the land or your vision. All will be well.

If Hollie hasn't done so, she needs to comply with the state's requirements to show Elion is being homeschooled. You can explain to the Judge it was never your intent to not provide an education for your son and Hollie was in charge of the academic part of Elion's education and you were in charge of teaching him life skills. Hollie should give you a list of the educational tools she used and uses and having that proof should help you show you weren't against Elion being educated you just didn't want him being educated in public school.
Doesnt really matter what you want it's you needing to make sacrifices for your child until he's taken care of first then you can worry about what you want it's part of growing up something your doing now.
