Today we are exploring a tragic abandoned home that has sat empty for the last 10 years.
The man who lived here moved to Canada to start his life after hardship in his home country. With dreams of becoming a mechanic and a love for North American cars, a small repair shop in town gave him a chance leading to a 40-year-long career in the field.
The man built a great life for himself, he found a nice girl and married her in 1987. They had two children who he loved dearly. As they grew older, their kids moved out to start their own lives different parts of the country.
Sadly in 2013, his wife suddenly fell ill, passing away just six months later from cancer.
Distraught and alone, one fateful winter night, the man went for a drive to clear his mind. With the weather turning for the worse, he lost control of his car on a slippery road, crashing into a telephone pole, ending his life.
With his children away in different parts of the country, his house sat empty for the next year. With the home a lingering reminder of their father, his children sold the property in 2015.
Ever since that fateful night, the home has sat abandoned, waiting for the man to return home.

That house has a lot of potential and would be worth renovating in my opinion
@@anthonyviteri5037 that's what u was thinking, it has alor of charm.
@@anthonyviteri5037 yea it would but it would be expensive to get the mansion renovated. the place that it’s located is like something out of a horror movie, and i love horror movies but i wouldn’t wanna live in an abandoned house far from society in the middle of the woods 😂😂
I believe houses hold energy. That energy is waiting for someone to come live in the house again, so sad.
Problem is, those 2nd story beams have been soaking in that mold drenched insulation, not sure if any of this house is salvageable.
Yes, houses do most definitely hold energy. Lots of things do that people don't know about.
The ‘energy’ in this house is probably just a load of bugs and clutter. No ghosts or any of that made up stuff
I'm in my mid 50's and from what I saw, that house has not been touched for at least 25 years. There's a lot of mid 80's to early 90's stuff. Great job on this one Noah.
Yes, the 90s, my time.
my guess is maybe from 2000-2005 it was abandoned.
Those cars are from the 1990's
The three cars are;
Ford Contour (the red sedan)
Pontiac Sunfire (blue sedan)
Ford Probe (the blue coupe)
Just because the things in the house are from a certain era, doesn't mean that's when it was left. People seldom update their house and belongings with the times
What a Gem. I am a remodeler and restoration expert. This house is in decent shape with a ton of potential. Two 30 yard dumpsters and a crew would clean and strip down the damage and clutter. I love all the stain grade woodwork. The 1980 colors need to go. A typical house gets remodeled every 7-10 year's so it's time. It ticks me off that kids thinks it's ok to trash homes. I think the drywall damage could have come from freezing broken pipes. Easy to fix. Prayers to the family. Such a sad story. Txs for sharing.
I totally agree. The roof from what was shown looks to be in good shape...definitely a great foundation to start
Lol I would take it just the way it is and just repair the water leak, sheetrock, clean up the trash. I love the 80's look 😊
@@petercermak4095 a house gets remodeled every 7 to 10 years? if youre rich maybe
@drewdevon2009 it's what the designer's tell us. Mostly kitchens and bathrooms. DC area stats.
I think it is weird that most of the furniture is gone. But the rest is just trashed! All the rooms just loaded with trash! Almost like a hoarders house. Looks like once a cool house. It seems strange!
Alot of natural light, beautiful house in the yesteryears ❤
This mansion is absolutely incredible! Great video dude!
"This one is from '97" as you hold up a map of Quebec clearly dated 1977. There's no 1980s vibe to this house - many clues, including the choice of paint, wallpaper, electrical switches & fixtures all scream mid 1990s. If you want a more accurate idea of when the house was built, head to the basement where the furnace & water meter would be. Installers typically place a sticker on the ductwork near the furnace indicating installation & inspection. Most people don't remove these even when the furnace is replaced. If there's still a water meter, or water heater in the basement, again, there are stickers indicating when they were installed. It's likely this house still had the original furnace & such when it was abandoned. If the dates of the water meter, hot water heater, and furnace are close, it's likely everything is original and the home was built around that time. This video is hard to watch for several reasons - one being the state of the house wouldn't be as bad if vandals hadn't broken in and left windows open, etc.
Well I'm sure him saying 97 instead of 77 was an accident lol. The numbers are similar and I'm sure he just read it quickly and wrong lol
What a sad story, thanks for checking this place out and sharing the back ground to this place. It makes you wonder why it would be left abandoned unless the next of kin simply wanted it left alone for some personal reason, as if it ought to be untouched out of respect to the parents who are deceased. Beautiful location, I like places with a lot of trees.
I literally shed a tear....the lives of so many people we do not know
2:55 That’s a Contour, made between model years 1995-2000
@@musicmoviesandgames2004 it was also the MK2 mondeo in Europe
closer to a 98, we have one just like it
@@Vtec-75hp the second generation was 2000 onwards this is a MK1 mid-cycle facelift technically which made it look more different compared to the original MK1 that resembled somewhat to the predesessing ford sierra, though The extensive redesign in 1996 was known as the Mondeo Mk II which would collide somewhat in 2000 when they brought the gen/mk2 out.
And it's a V6 too.
@@MrDave590 was that the same V6 from the SHO Taurus? It looks similar but I don’t know fords too well even though I unfortunately own one… I have a 03 exploder with a bad solenoid in the transmission and a parasitic draw that’s turned it into my 4,000 pound shiny lawn ornament
Now that house is a demo for sure. Would have liked to see it when it was new. The decorating was over the top even for the eighties and nineties. Thanks Noah!
Noah Buddy 👋Your intros are the best. Thank you for showing HVAC and ELEC as much as you could. Take care and stay Safe 🤗Donnie
The master bedroom with the waterbed that's another inclination of the '80s and that the bathroom is not complete. It's not that it was ripped apart. It was not complete. That's pretty much most people in that time frame. I just couldn't afford to keep up with the everything. Thank you for bringing up my past LOL. I enjoyed it. Thanks again, Noah😂😂
lol. Not quite
@@Lee.l-p6v ehh, i wouldnt go this far lmao, my uncle had a water bed in the early 2000s and he in his late 40s now
@@Fusion710if your father had one then it was handed down because I had that in the '80s and '90s and I'm older than '40s but thanks.
@@Fusion710 I had one also in the 2000's had it for about 40 years then it just got to hard to find anyone around that were selling them or parts anymore in my area.
Thanks Noah for uploading this! I m from Sweden and I love it !! Kitchen also very cozy. And I agree with you,its CRAZY much stuff inside !! You say it looks good from the outside..how can it be so MUCH inside..
It’s hard to believe that the family doesn’t want to get some of the stuff out the house, it’s a very unusual house.
Looks like they been and gone through everything and sold home after to developer
I hope the guy didn't kill himself after losing his wife, but the abandoned photos and even the clothes are very strange.
NOAH!!! I'm scared for you... all by yourself😮
I just don't get how and why someone goes through EVERY room, just tossing everything around.
Yet, no one broke the front door glass.
As your usual, great tour😊
You forgot to say "stay safe".
Happens all the time when people die. Not strange at all.
Beautiful house on the outside when I saw the three cars all three of them were nothing but problems by the time they get to about 90,000 Miles they were done..2-Fords and a Pontiac.. hopefully when you get to the garage they have some nicer cars in there or it could be empty.. I saw another video they had a Mercedes convertible 2-door at a four-door BMW in the garage in perfect condition.. if you can get in I'm sure kids could get in take what they want and party in there..I would buy that house got the whole thing make it look like 2024 send the cars to the junkyard.. I like the tour so far very cool..😮
Something strange happened here. Usually, the children would clear the home of personal things. They obviously sold the home with the contents for a reason. Weird.
Two bad harvests and went bk, stayed until bailiffs came
The vibe of this house makes me feel like the inhabitants may have been recovering addicts who started a church and surrounded themselves with paint hues that were tranquil and soothing or vibrant and stimulating in order to stay on message. Excellent explore!
Being a recovering addict and alcoholic myself, I like that.
The front foyer and staircase is beautiful 😍
Pretty confident everyone left due to the severity of that black mold. One or more of the family members was probably sick from it. Unfortunately that house is a teardown and too far gone to remediate and rebuild especially if water is getting into the basement and flooding it. It's just not cost effective.
As a contractor this house is easy to fix and be lived in again
@1972BIGFUN For someone like me that has lifelong symptoms from mold exposure, you couldn't pay me to live in that house or even give it to me for free after being repaired. Once a basement floods like that, it's subject to flood again, not to mention the entire HVAC system in the basement needs to be replaced. The place is a nightmare never ending money pit.
You did an amazing job on this video! We really enjoyed it!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Ford probes are super collectible. There's whole groups of people from around the world that love these things. I've seen them turboed and really cleaned up with tasteful mods.
Melancholic for me, the children's trophies, that letter written by some teacher, I wonder how many memories were made in this house...
The house interior gives me 90s vibes. The kitchen style is so 90s and custom homes were common in the 80s and 90s. The outside looks 1980s, late.
The Charlotte Hornets jacket sure takes me back, EVERYBODY wanted one of those jackets. I personally hated the colour so I never wanted one, but man. That is early 90's for sure.
Guessing the electric shut off first, winter froze pipes, ceiling dropped after water lines froze, water kept running on into the basement, all the mold made the workers with the new drywall leave......
You need to be very very careful that you don’t catch Hantavirus!
Noah Dang it. You went by yourself. Please dont do that. I can say so much about this place. My gosh a great explore. 😊😊
From the TVs and cars this was from the late 90s to early 2000s. Last time I saw a water bed was the late 90s
I want that Ford Probe! My first car. ❤
I still sleep on a water bed! ❤😂
This place has good bones from what I can see. The basement isn't that bad. Power got cut, water entered because the sump's were not functioning. Gut and remodel.
The trees surrounding home are very nice looking, initial impression. Stunning variety of species, home looks wonder too. Thanks for sharing this 1 noah!
idiotic to plant trees so close to the roof. will cost $50,000 to remove these trees
It still looks like a nice house
Sad vibes here Noah. Nice house. Love thar staircase. Beautiful. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My husband and I used to have a water bed and we always woke up with a sinus headache. I would never own another one.
I believe that why they are discontinued
@conniejohnson290 I woke with gougious young women? Maybe should of turned the heater on.
What a good condition the waterbed is in. I had 2 of them in my younger years.
The cars look like 1990's cars. Ford Probes were manufactured between 1988 and 1997. Cool video. Thanks.
Its second gen. I think 1993-97
Cool house. I’m getting early 90’s from the decor. In its prime it would’ve been impressive. I love the cool neutral colors in the stained glass.
What a sad story Noah! I love the front entrance & staircase! Sad no one is living here! Awesome video as always! ❤️👍👍✊😘
That was HIS Interpretation of what happened AND THEN there’s THE REAL STORY ! it could be something similar !
Wow! Beautiful home! Sad it's just going to rot down. A family that once had it all and then things go wrong and it all falls apart, I guess. That's what it looks like. Thanks so much for showing.❤
YES that’s what it unfortunately looks like to me too ! How do you have a BRAND NEW HOUSE of that size and then it just damaged and falling part in that manner… I didn’t know drywall fell of ceiling and walls like that looks like someone ripped it off …. I’m thinking it was the people or person that lived there and may have eventually had some mental issues ! And probably lived in that house IN THAT CONDITION towards the end of their habitation ( 🤔 maybe they were EVICTED and tore it up before they left ! ) !
I never thought I’d see retro and 80’s in the same sentence. Looks like I’ve lived long enough.
Happy Thanksgiving
You are a brave person going into a house filled with black mold everywhere. Very bad to breathe in.
In the south US where I live, the roaches would have met you at the front door and either carried you out of the house or tied you up and held for ransom.
Beautiful 🤩 massive, sad 😢
This does not look like vandalism. I think there might have been some hoarding going on. Also, some attempt at renovation.
@@sienna915 It's possible most of that stuff was boxed up,or at least neater, and someone went through it looking for stuff, and left it a mess in there.Maybe some squatting or vandalism too.
1:11 I mean the irony of that. He liked repairing cars and the last thing he did was die in a car wreck.
I need to take a shower 🚿 after seeing that basement 😦
hilarious seeing GenZ talking about old stuff that isn't really that old at all👍 but i enjoyed the video thanks.
Nice production ....sad story told well. LOVE the wallpaper 1990s half border and half again. Stripe with border. I had this and loved the 1990s decor.WOW 1990s wallpaper was the best.brings out peoples individual character.
Jep, elämä ei välttämättä meme niin kuin suunnittelee.!!! Talo on hieno.!!! Se pitäisi kunnostaa ja antaa uusi elämä.!!! Hyvä video.!!! Kiitos.!!! 🙏
I would definitely buy this place and renovate it. The potential is unlimited.
With the age of the cars I would say it was probably abandoned in the early 2000s and then sold in 2014 by the way the Ford probe was supposed to be a sports car
In my hometown there’s a house around that size that’s been sitting empty for 20 years. The town doctor at the time had it built in the 80s, then sold it to some out of towner who was going to resell it, but never did. One time when he was in town I asked if I could see the inside and he let me. Unlike this one, It’s completly empty but unbelievably massive. Giant entrance foyer just like this one, 2 bedrooms on the main, 5 upstairs and 4 downstairs (fully finished basement too) it’s so sad to see such amazing houses like this get abandoned and go to shit.
First. Great vids.
Very sad thank you for sharing ❤
That's a 1995-8 Ford Contour. A 1995-8 Pontiac Sunfire and a 1993-5 Ford Probe.
2:52 Ford Contour I believe.
First time viewer of your channel and I’m very impressed! Nice explore Noah! That house needs to be emptied and demolished! Too far gone with mould and you’d never get rid of it sadly.
Don't think I've seen a ford probe in like 15-18years and the other ford is a Mondeo/Contour
Honestly, the house itself looks pretty sound. Sell the cars for parts, clean out the garbage and repaint and replace the appliance, Viola!
There is a very large amount of black mold in the basement so yes that's a good reason to abandon it
Nice explore that water bed was a find
You can see the water line stains on the concrete basement walls. It was pretty deep at one point.
That house is absolutely amazing. I would love to renovate that one. Bring it back to life. You can see it's not all that bad. A few bits needing doing to make it 100‰ structurally sound then the rest is cosmetic. Obviously with it's size a very healthy bank account is required, but the house is not ready to die yet. It is too good to be left to rot much longer. Just hope no wood eating bugs are in there. That would be the killer of that house.
That Ford looks like a contour svt. Definitely a V6 which I believe was only offered on the svt. Cool "sleeper" car back in the day
The house definitely has 80s and 90s vides for sure. Nice house
Sad story
Thank you for another great explore Noah.
You haven't lived until you have slept on a waterbed. I wish they still made them. I would get one in a heartbeat! They were awesome
My wife and I had a water bed. Best sleep I ever had. Cool in the summer and heated in the winter.
They still make them.
@@richwicklund9001 no way!!!!
This house gives off a vibe like it's unsettled. I bet it's restless and noisy at night.
@@Freedomquest08 agreed it has a crazy vibe. Maybe he should go back at night with paranormal gear, that would be a freaky video to watch
2:54 Ford Contour
That’s crazy I was in that house when it was brand new and it looked amazing then
So cool!
Yes,I lived there. I remember you
@@wileecoyote5749 I’ve never been there so you don’t remember me.
Honestly besides it being messy inside it’s not as bad. The paint looks good the wood looks good. I’d live there
It looks like someone ransacked that house! Crazy that they were so careless & messy about it.
Very sad how their lives ended and the kids didn't care and just sold it off and now everything left is just rotting away 😢
how do you know their lives ended???
Maybe because of the mold
25:00 that's cool to see one of them old starter pullovers
Have a Beer on Anthony 🍻👍
That basement would kill 😞 ewww 🤢🤮
Ford Contour, Ford Probe and Pontiac Sunfire
I remember,the free computer 💻 games 😄 CD 💿
Wow. So sad. This home would have been amazing to raise a family.
Looks like they just picked up and left and walked away and Mother Nature is taking it back.
It's a Ford Contour and Ford Probe and a Pontiac Sunfire lol old cars from the 1990s 😂
Great Video
Super dope, A Charlotte Hornets Starter jacket!!!
@@mikeross880 Tight jackets in the early to mid 90s.
Honestly I’m surprised it’s still there. Those jackets are worth even more today than they were in 1991.
Very interesting video.
Good idea to bring disposable gloves with you.
That’s an svt contour, kind of fast, cool and rare.
The house was probably contaminated with Chinese made drywall from the mid 90s that’s why it was abandoned! The drywall company settled with most homeowners and people were forced to abandon their homes!
Why are you shouting?
The first vehicle is a Ford Contour sedan its a ‘99 my fourth car was a ’95 Ford Contour sedan.
When you went down in the basement. I automatically started scratching and getting goosebumps. YUCK, GROSS!!! I JUST FELT DIRTY the whole time you were down there. Lol
Someone took the battery out of that one car-I think someone came in and trashed the inside
Squatters probably
woodwork and windows and doors are still nice
My number one question, what did you see in the basement?! Why was it so bad? 😭 Wow that house has been rifled thru
Did you see the walls of black mold?
You can see the water line stains on the concrete walls. Looked pretty deep at one point.
One car is the new model Ford Probe
Nice house
Seems like these were hoarders. I haven't seen that much stuff in my lifetime!!. I loved the staircase😊. Thanks Noah❤
This house can easily be brought back to it's former glory.
This is definitely an '80 house and some of the things in there show it and like you had said yourself about a PC game that you got in the cereal box I used to get them for my son in The '90s. But they're definitely 80 vibes in there big time like your Nintendo 64. When you were looking at the mops and you looked at the one that said Quebec on it you said 1997 but actually it says 1977, like the colors of the house, the pinks the blues. Those are colors of the '80s '90s. And and to answer your question about why somebody would leave something like that, I think it's usually because of somebody passing and family don't want it cuz they have their own stuff and especially when it's older stuff it doesn't mean anything to them. They just leave it with the attitude let somebody else deal with it kind of thing and those walls that are in the bedrooms that you say look like wallpaper. And wow I don't think it's wallpaper. I think it's paint because in the '80s there was a specific artist named Debbie Travis and she would sponge paint and that was a big thing back then.
I'd say the survivors had no use for all that stuff. If they sold it as is to a developer, they would just leave it. It seems pretty evident that there was no updating of this house because of the absolutely 80's decor. Great video.
Ford probe and a mondeo never knew they built em in the states
Yes, they were called Contour.
I think its a Ford Mondeo 1 MKII, so it should be a 1996-2000 model.
In North America it was called the Contour
that´s a Ford Contour outside
