Man..... Wade explains this stuff better than Edge themselves. Appreciate what you and your crew do, and all the help through the years. Its election time, I'm voting for Wade2020
@@scaleytail Buy an adapter where the bleed scew is located on the filter head. The adapter and pressure sensor will take place of the bleed screw. Buy the Edge or equivalent pressure sensor for whatever gauge you have to monitor the lift pump pressure.
Love your videos and I’ve learned so much from watching them. I have a 2003 California Cummins I’m looking at getting a tuner for and was looking at the CTS3 evolution. Just wondering what your thoughts were or if there is a better route. Thanks in advance!
Thank you! Edge does a great job with their tuning and they are one of the only companies that offers EO numbers with their tuning if you are located in California.
There really isn't a good place with the stock pump unfortunately. You would need to fabricate something that would work with the stock supply line from filter, or upgrade to aftermarket lift pump.
So if I already have an add on EGT sensor in my system, do I still need part # 98605 or am I already setup with the enough space for 2 more add on devices?
Does the edge cts3 read rail pressure actual and desired correctly from the trucks sensors for a 2003 5.9 cr? Or do I need to add the edge EAS rail pressure sensor? I already have the egt EAS starter kit. All your videos are great and really informative.
Each truck as a different as to what it will read but the CTS3 wont read rail pressure as of yet. They actually do not offer a rail pressure sensor, they only offer this low pressure fuel sensor for lift pumps and boost pressure.
Can sum one please help me I put this sensor on my cts3 and set it all like you did the 0-100psi and it keeps popping up with 80.64 psig... on the read out
Have not had a chance to watch he entire video yet, but have a question while it is on my mind. I have a 2016 LML and am looking at putting an airdog on my truck and deleting the factory fuel filter with a delete kit. I saw one that had a port in it for a fuel pressure sensor. Will the edge sensor fit into one of those?

I'd really like this for my truck but, for $150 for the sensor and $180 for the EAS connector, I'm gonna pass and go with a traditional, mechanical gauge lol.
You can buy the pressure tranducers on amazon for like 20 dollars and solder the connector to the harness that they include. They're gouging hard on their sensors... No way it costs that much for a sensor and a couple of plugs with a few feet of wire
I have a 2012 ram with a fuelab lift pump. I'm running the Ezlynk and want to run a lift pump pressure sensor. Is there a way to connect a aux pressure sensor with Ezlynk?
Love your video's, Wade! Always look forward to your next install.
Thank you Jack. More installs coming your way in the future!

Thanks! 😅
Great video guys. Just what I was looking for
Great to hear!
You can add this sensor on the Duramax filter head bleeder screw port, with an adapter fitting.
How ???? …..please

Thanks Wayne. As always great video.
It is Wade and thank you! 😅
It's Wade... Bruce Wade. Lol
Where’s the best place to install a pressure sensor on a 2013-2018 Cummins with the stock lift pump?
There really isn't a good place with the stock pump unfortunately. You would need to fabricate something that would work with the stock supply line from filter, or upgrade to aftermarket lift pump.
Can that fuel pressure T be used for boost also?
So if I already have an add on EGT sensor in my system, do I still need part # 98605 or am I already setup with the enough space for 2 more add on devices?
When you are using any sensor that requires 5 volt reference (as the pressure sensor here does), you will need the 98605 kit.

Just got my evolution cts3 and it does read fuel rail pressure. works great but noticed it doesn't run lift pump pressure. Thanks for the video wade.

yes.
Is that sensor able to be used to replace the old fuel Pressure Sensor for the edge juice with Attitude on the VP trucks
It will work with the CTS but will not work with the Legacy
Can this sensor be used as an indicator of when it's time to change filters over just changing them at recommend interval?
No it wont be an indicator for that.
In a round about way, yes. It could show low pressure from either an actual pump issue or filters being plugged up.
Isn’t the pressure supposed to be between 50-60 psi?
Common rail 5.9L with an external lift pump runs anywhere between 12-20 psi.

So I just installed these and my CTS2 has the pressure at 51.5 this cant be right?
Did you install this as a lift pump pressure gauge? What truck are you running?

@@stephensimpson2252 did you try your method? With the wires connected right did your Edge pick up the “new” EAS pressure sensor?
