if you have a fuel filter delete on duramax you can put fuel pressure gauge on the bottom then you can lay on your back under the truck with the ignition on and see the fuel pressure before the cp3/4
On my unit I just had to round the edges of the bracket slightly. I also had to take two small plastic spring loaded keepers out. They were held in with some allen head bolts and then it just spins right on.

What was the purpose for the 2 spring's you removed ?
Did you run into any issues taking out those springs to be able to run the cat filter
No, I have never had a filter loosen up on me.
Why use the cat? The fleetguard filter and or the original Airdog filter filters 2 micron
They are $17 and I can get them locally is why I went with the cat.
