Pau has a way of conveying so much emotion in her vocals that it really hits home. I was wondering how you guys would feel about this song after only hearing bangers from TW. I think you will love everything else on this album. By the way, you guys are the first reactors I've seen that picked up on the 'crackling fire' sound at the beginning. Pau said she imagined a cowgirl/cowboy sitting around a campfire singing this song. So that's why they added that in. Always love it when you guys react to The Warning. Can't wait for the next one.

Hearing this today, the fifth year anniversary of Chester Bennington's suicide, can't help but wonder...
The vocal harmonies during the second verse. 🥲
Ethereal and transcendental magic. I can’t get past those harmonies and not feel it hit me no matter how many times I listen.
O....M....G.... This was an OOOFFF moment as I have not experienced in a long time.
Just a little over a week ago I was in Srebrenica - Bosnia attending the annual remembrance of the july 1995 massacre.
The largest genocide since WWll, and watched 52 people beïng buried at the memorial, wich means they were identified only sometime in the last year.
After being deployed there in 1994 it was my first time going back since, with four other comrades from that time.
It was wonderfull seeíng the country has evolved. It was painfull still seeíng a lot of the scars. It was special seeíng texts on the walls written by soldiers like myself, in the same timeperiod. But it was good to realise we did what we could under the circumstances and mandate and possibilities given to us.
But....these lyrics.... KICKED MY BOTTOM!! Hard....Wow!

Pau has a very unique and imo the best cry singing I have ever heard, hands done. And yet even with this song, The Warning rocks!
Some songs stand on the strength of a driven beat
Some on the power of a rising bridge and a surging chorus,
Some songs fill every bit of space in the air, with interlocking parts filling the spectrum.
This song is strengthened by it's sparse nature.
Pau is the spark that grows burning brighter if she wishes, or softer when needed.

I went to see them July 13th at Blossom Music Center in Ohio with Halestorm and Lilith Czar. They rocked it. Awesome show. They did the small venues on their Mayday tour. Now, they’re playing the big venues and festivals. They were the second band to play out of four. But, they’ll be moving on up in the not too distant future.
The perfect video of this is at their Teatro Metropolitan concert where they just sit in chairs in from of the audience and play acoustically...it's just heart breaking! All of their music is better live and the Teatro concert was a master class in performance.

She has 2 or 3 more from this new album Error that will bring you to your knees, plus a few from their previous albums that are so moving! The Warning can rock for sure but they can also make you cry with their emotional performances!!

Pau has been writing songs like this(emotions that bring you to tears) since she was 13 years old. Check out Black Holes, a song about addiction. When you listen to it remember, it was written by a 13 year old kid.

This seems very different, but go back a couple of years to their albums before the pandemic, and you'll find that this is classic Pau. She's written and performed a handful of ballads and they're all wonderful.
One of the fun things about The Warning is that they'll put whatever musical genera applies to the story they are looking to tell, lyrically. So, yeah - you'll get all sorts of "sounds" from them, depending on the song in question. Not a ton of bands do that, or at least do it _well_ .
This girls could not write a bad song even if they wanted so. This is what I call an epic, timeless and instant classic song!!
The whole composition really well laid out, beautiful acoustic guitar and vocal harmonies. The “ rest” near the end is timed so well. It’s about 1/2 a measure longer than typical and really sets up the end nicely.
This band is like different hot peppers. Some burn the tongue some burn the sides of your mouth and some burn your sinus.. and you enjoy all of it...

I just saw them on Tuesday night in Boston. They are touring with Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless and Lilith Czar. It was an Awesome show and these ladies (The Warning) absolutely killed it!!!! It is so hard to believe how young they are and how awesome they play and sing. Alejandra is only 17 and is just incredible on that bass! Paulina is so expressive it's like she is acting out a scene in a play! Daniela just Rocks! If you get the chance to see them live, don't miss out! 😁

P.S. Why so rushed guys? - hahaha it seems to me that you ran a race with your reaction. Relax! hahaha breathe and I recommend, when you pause, go back a few seconds so you don't lose the transition or the flow of the song.

Agree it is a Masterpiece. Sad thing is it will become a Masterpiece that is over looked and not receive the credit it should be died. Because of all the other Masterpieces The Warning has created.
Great reaction to this beautiful song! You must discover the Pau Piano Ballads. Black Holes, Show Me The Light, and the newest one: Breathe… Even Fade Away and Escape the Mind from their first EP are amazing songs. Also The End is another great song. Pau’s voice and songwriting skills (with her sisters) are so extraordinary. I hope you will react to my most favourite song on the last album. 23! Yeah I love Pau-led songs 😂
As someone mentioned already this channel has mainly reacted to The Warning's faster/heavier songs, but they also have melodic and meaningful songs that may bring a completetly diferent type of feeling. Bllack holes at Dakota Bar is one of my favorites as well as a cover Creep on Piano, both sung by Pau.
You guys look like you were really feeling this one. I watched it with you and cried like a baby. The harmonies in Verse 2 are uplifting. The line:

is truly beautiful writing. And, of course, Pau's voice is magical. It wrecks me every time.
Can't wait to see this performed on a stage with DPA sitting on stools under spot lights and a stadium filled with fans holding their lighters and phones in the air. It will happen.

Just saw them do this live in San Luis Obispo recently - they brought Evan Potter (from Lilith Czar) on to play the second guitar, and Pau came out from behind the kit, they all sat on stools and it was just lovely and intimate and beautiful.

What a nice reaction! Total different song, different style, softer, but hitting hard emotionally! There are so many great shredding rock song on this album, I love the variety with a few slower songs. Try 23, also sung by Pau, the drummer, or Amour! I think what it comes down to is their parents did a damn good job of raising them properly.
This was great. I loved the subtle Bass and electric guitar adding some mood music. Dany's backing vocals were beautiful and of course Pau absolutely killed it.

I love the harmonic effects certain notes are having on the chord of a given moment. I forget the music theory term for it. Like the voice is hitting a unique note like a flat 2nd or 6th, then the rest of the chord continues beyond the end of the word. Like decaying "blue" notes.

This is like the effect that KISS had when they suddenly came out with "BETH", a beautiful ballad sung by their drummer Peter Criss.... but of course, The Warning is much more intellectually deep
In this song, Pau sings (Paulina, the drummer). She has a very emotional voice, in contrast to Dany (Daniela, the main singer and guitarist) who has a more powerful voice!

A very good song! I will say that the melody is very similar to many "memorial songs" we have. All of which very sad, of course.
Here I got a critic you can steal for this one "It wasn't Breathe." Breathe is the bonus track on this album, just Pau on the out of tune living room piano.
