After a good night's rest in Korzok (near Tso Moriri Lake in Ladakh) it was time to begin our last day of riding - a 240-odd kilometre ride back to Leh. I rode the Jawa Jawa for a part of the day and then got back onto the Jawa 42 along the route. While the initial part of the route was a bit slow, once we got onto the Manali-Leh highway the story was entirely different. Proper tarmac after so many days was a welcome sight for sore, well, many things. Another incredible riding experience drew to a close when we all got back to Leh safely.

I said this before and I will say this again, it's just a pleasure to watch this. And in inspiration to keep the dream alive of some day going there myself, though preferably on a bicycle.
Also as someone who's grown up in Germany and spent most of his life there, the size of those mountains is still mind-boggeling. Leh is about the same level as the highest mountain... I'd like to say "I've been on", but we didn't go all the way up, so it's the same level as the highest mountain I have ever seen, and that is on the foot of the mountains...
