When you replace sections of the frame go past each seam at least a foot with the flat bar sections on the top and bottom… staggering you seams… your welder could use a bit more heat if it has anymore settings above where your at… great content!!! Keep up the vital work you are doing!!
I'm amazed of your chasis repair. It's safe to drive jeeps with this repairs? I'm aware that newly manufactured replacement chasis for most old jeep can be sourced.
Why don't you fabricate someone the pieces you need instead of sourcing easily made parts, I'm not a fabricators any means, it just seems that progress is lost while you are out looking forbparts.

Is the hanger you're working in located at Atcham, the American Air Force base in Shropshire until 1945?
It’s not too far from there, it’s a former us army ordinance supply depot and pow camp wem salop
