I really wish you got more views. The video production is top notch and a lot of your ideas I save to try myself later

Dude, this turned out so nice! Absolutely loving the stop block design and I will definitely be looking at doing something similar to optimize mine and incorporate some 3D printing in the mix. Well done!

Love the design --- do you have the part number where the nuts go into the 3d model?

Pretty cool finish. One flip arm may not be sturdy enough. I’m planning mine and the current plan is to have a U shape arm with 1 pivot on each end of the sliding block. Also the sliding block can probably be a little smaller to gain a little more cutting capacity.
I also have the same saw.

That’s a great idea! I printed with 100% infill and it doesn’t flex at all, but I may adopt your idea anyways, sounds cool!

Really great idea for a stop block! What does the 6mm bolt that holds the pivot arm screw into? I didn’t see any nuts listed in your parts list. Maybe there is a 3d printed threaded cavity (?).

Thank you! Glad you liked it! I’m away from my computer right now but I believe I just threaded the M6 bolt into a 6mm hole with no threads and let the bolt do the tapping. Another option is to use an M6 heat set insert

It just doesn't just save space but more rigid than than sliding mechanism, and it's low maintenance because the ball bearings are sealed.

What inserts do we need for the mm bolts? I didn’t see those on the thingverse.

Cool stop block. Nice to see you going with budget ply for the top, im sure it will be just fine. Great job. I use a mobile miter saw station with flip up wings. Problem is i find myself aleays leaving them up and if not u have to keep the sides clear of stuff (i dont). I think i would like to build a larger sation with storage but keeping it mobile for future rearranging. How do u like your bosch?

Thanks for watching and the comment! The Bosch is awesome! My brother teaches shop class and said that’s all he gets cause he loves them!

@@ModernHobbyist cool, for me its a the makita or bosch. Either would work fine. Love my dewalt but it needs to much space behind it, but for trim work its been great.

@@ShrednESP absolutely, we were gonna go with the DeWalt but the depth was the exact reason I changed my mind!

Found your stop block on thingiverse but the assembly video and the parts list links are not showing up on there, any chance you reprovide the links.

Thanks for the comment! I've updated the Thingiverse link, forgot to add it when creating the project!
