Theories of Policy Process through a general multi-disciplinary explanation. Another one that wasn't included is Explanatory which is explaining why things are the way they are (Positivist). BTW Normative is Post-Positivist. (Week 2 Slides)

@John Paulett Your understanding of philosophy is normative, not descriptive.
Friedrich Nietzsche was a philosopher, in his work Genealogy of Morality gives a descriptive understanding of ethics, therefore from a logical perspective your understanding of philosophy is inconsistent.
(But Kant's ethics is a good example of normative ethics)

I don't think there can be descriptive statements that can't be evaluated morally because they are descriptive. Making a statement is going to require morals.
