My 13 year old daughter watched an episode of yours with me for the first time yesterday. Her precise words, “He’s the exact opposite of Gordon Ramsey.” She elaborated, “Gordon is too dramatic. This guy (You) is fun!” She and I are completing our Thanksgiving Dinner based on your content. I have finally found something my daughter and I can enjoy together. It may seem small. But thank you so very much.

Chef JP, you made a mention of roasting the vegetables instead of boiling. I tried it and when I processed them, they were quite thick. I added white wine and water to get them to get them to the consistency to what they would be if boiled and that worked out. The benefit of roasting was getting some very delicious caramelized flavors. I love to cook and not a professional. I appreciate all the things I learn from you. You help me step up my game.

Empath that I am, I always brace myself when you’re about to taste something too hot. I yell at you through the screen. “Wait! Not yet!” 😂
The colors of the carrots and squash are gorgeous and I can’t wait to try another fantastic recipe. I think even my finicky kids will eat this, although I may have to melt a handful of mini-marshmallows on their portion.
At Thanksgiving we often see an image of an overflowing cornucopia, and the daily recipes you’ve given us remind me of that. Thank you, Chef, for the bounty you brought us during a time when many need to be reminded of our blessings. God bless you and all of us.
    And God bless America 🇺🇸

While this video may have been made a year ago, it's still as fresh and on point and any current recipe.
Butternut squash is one of my favorite because of it's mild, sweet yumminess.
I love making butternut squash soup with a little fresh made chicken stock and heavy cream.
This souffle look very easy to make and with the addition of the carrots, it seems to broaden the taste profile.
    Bravo Chef Jean-Pierre, Bravo!

I roasted the butternut, and boiled the carrots. I only have a smsll amount of space in my toaster oven.
I whipped up aqua faba until it looks very white and fluffy. I am thinking, it might be best to add the aqua faba to the rest of the ingredients tomorrow, before putting it together to bake. Otherwise, like meringue, it will probably get watery.
I have everything cooked and ready. I will make the roux and put it all together tomorrow, before baking.
I soaked my raisins with 151 rum, it is all I have and added some maple syrup to offset the HIGH potency of the alcohol.
I hope this comes out yummy for everyone tomorrow!
I plan on making your green bean recipe also tomorrow with sundried tomatoes!!
    Thank you Chef!
    Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!

I had to put it in the freezer because there's no room in the refrigerator. I hope it will come out okay once it thaws and goes in the oven. Thank you for inspiring me to cook again.❤

Your video's to teach are wonderful! Just as is. It's hard to teach and do at the same time. My teacher was a lot like you. He taught us more by being who he was with whoops as he went on. It's good to be real, than cut out whoops. We learn from our mistakes and teachers too. Your doing a fantastic job! Anyone who criticizes you are just looking for one thing. Bump them they don't care about people or anything. Just trouble makers. They dont want to learn anything. We who watch and learn, or relearn really respect you. 👍😺👍

OMG Chef that looks so good! I LOVE butternut squash! My favorite thing to do with it is large dice it with a head of shredded cabbage in a pressure cooker with cream of chicken, diced salty pork of some kind like bacon, salt and pepper, and a big chunk of butter ( _chunk_ is a careful measurement between a hunk and a clump! Must measure very carefully! 😍) Pressure cooked for 8 minutes will pulverize most of the shredded cabbage ( but not completely ) and the butternut squash will be kept solid ( including skin! ) but as creamy as this scuffle!

My food processor makes a similar noise when I blend vegetables for soup (or just water for cleaning).
I think it's caused by bubbles forming and bursting behind the blade moving at high speed in a liquid. So while the motor may be quiet, there seems to be no escape from cavitation, except for changing the speed slightly.
I love how your videos teach me to be more relaxed in the kitchen. I tend to overthink things, if you haven't already guessed ;)

This looked so delicious. I’m not able to celebrate. The pass couple of months have been very difficult for me and my boys. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to pre existing health conditions, needless to say I was let go. Now I’m struggling to provide for my children. I’m a single mother raising two autistic boys. I can not use my degrees unless I take the jab which I won’t. It’s especially hard because of the holidays. Please keep me in your prayers. 🙏🏾
