4:47 How did you configure the scanner ip address ? When I put false in the condition Enable it only allowed me to configure the input and output size.

Great video Dan, one question, what is the reason not to use the Fanuc Add-On profile and using the Standard Ethernet Module instead?

I've never been able to get it to work right.

I’m trying to find the DI/O in the PLC but They are not named Fanuc. What’s an easy way to find the IO in the PLC that’s being used on robot. I’ve tried toggling the IO from the TP and I don’t see anything changing in the controller tags. But I know they are being used

what did you name the path in the io tree?

@@danstaifer2028 I didn’t name it, it was an integrator.

@@danstaifer2028 that’s where I’m confused I think. I don’t know what to look for in the controller tags to associate it with the robot. I know when you made the module,
you named it Fanuc, but I think they named this one DigitalX.x. There’s probably at least 10 different modules in the IO tree. I thought there may be an easy way to find it.

@@joew4202 you could turn off the robot and see which one gives you a communication error in the IO tree

Hi Dan how are you? I follow all your steps, but I have a problem ate the last part of the video, when I try to eliminate de alerts with the Fault tag, in the robot see the it try to change, but nothing happened. Also I see that in the Auto Mode of the Robot I need to have a SHIFT key press and this is the only way the fault command works from the PLC. May you can text me please.
    Thanks, best regards!

Hello Dan, your video is really helpful for me and I follow your steps. I got everything set-up and it’s work with compact logic L35ER and C-more HMI. I want to save those Robot configurations on my computer with word or notepad file( like your microsoft word file). Which .ls file do I need to print and where can I find.? Thanks for your time.

    Hi Mr. Staifer,
Fanuc robot and having problem with scanner configurations, I have IFM AL1122 IO-Lind master, setup IP address and could ping it through teach pendant, I think my problem is entering correct eds file parameters, I am hoping you could help or post a video.
There are other questions I would like to ask about Fanuc Robot Ethernet ports setups but this will be another topic.
