But to the North due to the Civil War in China and having some compromises from both Việt Minh(Democratic Republic of Việt Nam) and the French, they withdraw their 200.000 soldiers back to China to fight the Communists. Great video, glad to see an Oversimplified-style take on the Vietnam War or as it is known in our country: "The War against American Aggression". A few facts and corrections on the video. 1. Nguyen Sinh Cung went to the Treaty of Versailes under the alias of Nguyen Ai Quoc ("Ai Quoc" means Patriot in Vietnamese), which was a collective pen name of a group of independence activists. Nguyen Sinh Cung later adopted the name and became the new face of independence activism through that. 2. Nguyen Sinh Cung, now Nguyen Ai Quoc, co-founded the Communist Party of Vietnam by uniting smaller parties in different parts of Vietnam. The founders met in Hongkong under the guise of playing mahjong. 3. Nguyen Ai Quoc was actually ousted by the CPV later on because they viewed him as "too nationalistic" as he advocates for independence first and foremost, disregarding class warfare. Tran Phu, a young communist, basically replaced him by declaring his own manifesto which focused more on class warfare and put workers as the main force for revolution. Under General Secretary Tran Phu, the CPV attempted an early revolution called "The Soviet Nghe - Tinh Uprising" which ended in a disaster and killed most of the "first generation" of communists. Their death also allowed for Nguyen Ai Quoc to return from exile in the Soviet Union. 4. The picture used for "Emperor Bao Dai" is actually of Ngo Dinh Diem, a prominent court official who became the Prime Minister of the State of Vietnam then President of the Republic of Vietnam by ousting Bao Dai in a rigged referendum. 5. During the 300-day free travel period, the Americans organized a propaganda program target at Christians in the North, telling them that the communists would kill them all. This leads to a huge exodus of Northern Christians to the Republic of Vietnam. A huge wave of refugees means problem and by doing this, the US basically begin one of the key dominos that led to the downfall of the First Republic. 6. The first Constitution of Vietnam, the 1946 Constitution, is considered the "most democratic" constitution Vietnam ever has with no emphasis on the role of the CPV. However, due to distrust and infighting, the first unity government collapsed and comes a more powerful CPV who rewrite the constitution to be more communist. 7. Later into the 1960s, Nguyen Ai Quoc (now Ho Chi Minh) was sidelined by the more hardliner faction of the CPV led by Le Duan and Ngo Duc Tho (yes, the one who rejected the Noble Peace Prize). Ho Chi Minh became effectively a figurehead for unity. Ho Chi Minh and his protege, Vo Nguyen Giap (the architect behind the Dien Bien Phu victory), actually favored rebuilding the North to become a beacon of socialism and from then, convince the South to reunite. Le Duan and the hardliners wanted none of that and preferred a war which led to the escalation. 8. Allegedly, in his last year of life, Ho Chi Minh wanted to set aside the war and re-visit the South (where he began his trip to study in France) for the last time before he died. The hardliners refused the request either to protect him or to prevent giving influence to the growing anti-war movement in both the North and the South (more prominent in the latter).

Dropping down to your level, would be frustrating, as people like you dont believe the US is supplying the fascists, spearing nazis, and using your taxpayer money to replace democratically elected socialist leaning governments, and replace them with genocidal dictatorships, while stealing that nations natural resources. Faced with the evidence, your tiktoker mind can only think of
"I AIN READIN ALLAT🍆🍆💦💦🤡🤡💀💀🗿🗿"
Oversimplified but it isn't western propaganda. Respect 🔥
The hell are you talking about
"choose a dictator" - men i just can't 😂😂
Vietnamese Oversimplified is something I didn't know I needed 😃
Thank you and much appreciation on a great new video “Son of Oversimplified!”
I'll call him Oversimplifiedn't
I saw this on my TH-cam feed I swear I thought this was an Oversimplified video.
I love your video! Your like a new Oversimplified but you cover original things. Keep up the great work! Good job.
As soon as I looked at the thumbnail I said :oVERSIMPLIFIED IS BACK!!
Bravo! Love your stuff. I’d say your 90% there to matching oversimplified’s quality
No way i got jebaitet, thought it was oversimplified. Still happy its someone who took over his job
Finally a Vietnam war video, Love this!
Learnt more from this than my history teacher...
You are honestly as good or maybe even a bit better than oversimplified in my opinion. You should do a video on the 7 years war, I think it would be interesting to see.
and this enraged Oversimplified, who punished him severely
I love love love the video style. You should still put that it is oversimplified inspired like your first video for people who don’t understand the context and the credit is there.
Thank god! Oversimplified completely forgot about the Vietnam War video that he said he is going to make in the future, but he is too busy doing the Punic Wars and other stuffs.
Bro did it bc he was tired of waiting on Oversimplified to do it lmao
It began with material analysis & not liberal aesthetics about "muh freedoms." Respect! I'm subbed.
Wow this was absolutely incredible. Keep up the great work, and I cant wait to watch your next vid :D
If oversimplified don’t implode I know where I can get information from my history test🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hello there, great video and very informative. It’s just when you say “Bao Dai” which is the last emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam, you have a picture of the first President of the Republic of Vietnam Ngo Dinh Diem instead of Bao Dai. Also the French occupied Laos and Cambodia as well as French Indochina. Overall awesome work 👏 thank you for sharing the video.😊 Looking forward to seeing the next.👍🏻
Great job on the video! The Vietnam war is a topic I love seeing discussed, and wish was taught more in depth in US schools (but if we talked in-depth about each country we messed with after WWII, it'd be a multi-year class...)
Keep it up with the series bro
Can’t wait for part two
Yoooo
dude i saw the top half of the thumbnail and got hella excited
Still no contact from oversimplifyed sir...
Pending video
Vietnam war
Video about Carthage war part 2
Nearly as good as oversimplified
And that’s good
That ain’t oversimplified that’s under complicated 💀
No hate I just wanted to make a stupid joke
“You sonova bee, I’m in” should be a trademark or something
At 5:23, u pick the wrong image of Bao Dai, that's Ngo Dinh Diem, the puppet president of RVN.
Bro bring the definition of "fine, I'll do it myself" to the next level
Bro really said " HE DIDNT MAKE IT SO I WILL!! " ( this was really good )
I love the content, but could you make your style less derivative? This is clearly “inspired” (stolen) from oversimplified.
That’s the whole point, it’s like a budget oversimplified for the year period we wait for oversimplified. Stop being an ass and just watch the videos.
we finally got the vietnam war video that oversimplified promised years ago
0:10 Why is France animated mirror way, while Vietnam is in normal way?
France is facing Vietnam
Bro legit lifted oversimplified's entire style. And to think, illuminaughtii got salty over a single out-the-box editing feature.
This isn't oversimplified, but it is one of the Things I Care About
My favorite youtuber! Undersimplified
The US ignoring all those requests from Ho Chi Minh was one of the biggest mistakes we've ever made. Had that not happened, or 10, 000 other stupid mistakes, I might not have had to go to my dad's funeral when I was 9.
I NEARLY SPIT MY FOOD WHEN I SAW THAT THUMBNAIL
Oversimplified vibes here and I like it
Things I Care About and History with Seb were like pre-shows to an upcoming Oversimplified video
Proffessor Terry sent me here ^^ you have great content my dude
thank you!
Oversimplifided really changed since the last video
Bro I'm just letting you know, I'm your biggest fan, I started watching when German Revolution came out. Your the best oversimplified inspired channel. The Voice, the Cartoons, Humor make it good.
Thank you for the kind words!
@@ThingsICareAbout are you french?
Imagine Oversimplified is making a video about this and saw this. Great video by the way.
