oversimplified is one of 2 people i know who has taught people history in a way that actually engages the learners. the other is my 8th grade history teacher who had us do skits and many other things as a way of showing what we learned, but his teaching style was also pretty good seeing as it was inclusive to just about all types of learners, whether they be hands on or wall of text learners
It’s a shame I only just now discovered this channel; it’s easily one of the most entertaining and well edited series of videos where I get a laugh and still feel like I’ve learned something about history!

I like these smaller stories because they're both funny little tidbits of history filled with comedy and are also able to teach us about much larger parts of history, like the War of The Bucket teaching us about the Holy Roman Empire, or this talking about Westward Expansion, it's pretty neat.
