PARADISE in the PHILIPPINES | Everything to do in Palawan

- Today is the day! We are leaving the mainland and heading towards Palawan, a collection of islands known as paradise!
We have left Manila and jumped on a Philippines Airline flight into Puerto Princesco. There we headed out to one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the world - the underground river. This is an experience you need to do to believe!
The next day we found out that there is an local Palawan tribe - known as the Batak tribe. We hiked out there, just made friends with a Turkey and the chiefs son climbed a palm tree to get us all fresh coconuts.
In the morning we made our way to El Nido and wow we can see why everyone raves on about this place!

Great to see Aussies actually travelling and not stereotyped ones who frequent Kuta in Bali and Phuket. The Philippines various destinations are not easy to get to but for anyone who's been there, are always impressed not just by the natural wonders but more importantly the people who are so welcoming of strangers.

i just discovered your channel yesterday and you became my instant favorite. try to visit siargao island (my husband's hometown) and batanes. there are so many things to see from these beautiful places. and swim with the whale sharks in oslob, cebu. btw, larry is so cute. 😄

Yes, Philippines and Indonesia share same few words with the same meaning. Like lumpia(spring roll) Nasi(rice).
Indonesians, Malaysians and majority Filipinos are of the same ethnicity. We used to call it "Malay" but it is now called "austronesian". That is why there are many similar words. I am Filipino but used to stay in Jakarta for several years and i discovered a lot of similarities. In a few months time, i was fluent in Bahasa Indonesia already. Senang yah.

Definitely on my bucket always wanted to go to the Philippines but never knew where and no I do....will make sure I get a trip to trip El Nido, looks like paradise and a place you need to be there in person to take it all in..... which is my next plan after Egypt :) thank you guys for opening my eyes to explore more of the world :)

Not only el nido in palawan u should visit also balabac palawan they have a lot of beautiful and paradise beaches balabac island is not already famous so far but i think u should try to spend a vacation there u can also search in google or in youtube what does the island looks like i've been there twice and i'd never regret to came back in that island

Everybody is mentioning Batanes . But for this months Batanes is not a good option for a tropical adventure because it too cold there now. Maybe try in summer months like April or May.

I woke and looked out at the frigid snow in Sweden, up to my hip in some places and felt alone and cold... then your vid and the light was warmer, I felt the sea again, I remember tthe warmth of the sun (not for where you are, I started in South California) but I was able to 'feel' it again and my the weight of trapped in snow fade away. So good timing.
Even Larry the Turkey thinks "Its more fun in the Philippines". Filipinos keep turkeys more of as pets than a fiesta meal. Larry need no worry about thanksgiving . He'll be fine there.

I love love love this. The Philippines is where I came from (I moved to the States at 8 years old) and I haven’t had the chance to visit until last summer. It’s bringing a lot of nostalgia and it’s amazing how much of my own motherland that I have yet to see.
