- Hey everyone I am Daniel and I think you can guess why I haven't uploaded any video in the past 3 months (it's just a joke). The reason for it is that I actually quit TH-cam... till now. I felt unmotivated to do anything but after I finished playing Red Dead Redemption 2 I immediately searched for an edit and I found some good ones but... I had a feeling that I had to do it my way so I am kinda back on TH-cam... I guess. Arthur Morgan became my favourite videogame character of all time (I feel bad for calling him a character because he feels more than just a character). In my opinion this game has also the best ending in a videogame and if not the best then at least one of the best story.
But I am curious what you think about Red Dead Redemption 2. Write it in the comments.
I wish health and all the best to all of you :-) new videos are on the way!

If you have any ideas for my next videos than write them in the comments. It would help me a lot and I appreciate it :-)

Its an experience
It's the only piece of media that has achieved what games and movies ultimately strive for. To achieve true brilliance on such an overall level, the art needs to transcend mediums in a way that (pun intended) simultaneously achieves the median between them. I could explain further but I plan to make my own video on it because certain things sound a bit pretentious when written as opposed to showing and demonstrating. Arthur Morgan is truly the most beautifully written character I’ve ever played. Spending so much time with him, peeling back his tough brute layers to find a warm hearted artist was a great thing to see. Even though I wouldn’t consider Arthur to be the best character. I definitely connected with him like I’ve never connected with another character. I share a lot things with the man. As I think a lot of people have. They have to be a certain way to ensure the people they care about will be okay and survive. But he still has the true side of him. He appreciates the glorious country side, taking in all the beauty nature has to offer and his love for the written word is something I definitely share with him.
And to be honest, I see Arthur as the unsung leader of the van der linde gang towards the end. A great leader is who looks after his people, they have to be firm but fair. Arthur was hard on some of the gang members but that was to ensure they made it. How Hosea was the voice of reason and Dutch was the strategist. Arthur was both really. And a fears leader to go into battle with.
But all in all I can definitely understand why he is the fan favourite. There’s just so much to him to enjoy and get behind.

honestly Trevor can be up there too, a broken man, a psychopath, but a guy who loved his friends dearly. His backstory is great and you can understand what shaped him into what he was. He was lied to for so long, thinking both his friends died in that robbery and that he couldn't save either of them. Then he finds out and reunites with Michael, a guy he thought was dead ever since then
And at the end (if you choose to kill Trev), he gets killed by that same man, his brother, the person he was about to give his life to save him. Rockstar really knows how to make good stories

I actually cried watching this, yet I never really do cry. This hits hard knowing that Arthur tried becoming a good man after he found out about his disease, he really did try putting others before himself witch really shows that he had a heart. I’m glad Rockstar made Arthur see how important life is and how you should cherish every last moment and person that has become of it because after it is shown, Arthur was afraid to die and leave everything behind, but I’m glad he at least poured his heart out to others in the end.

Arthur Morgan is such a beautifully written character. He reminds me a lot of Jesse Pinkman. They are both characters who truly value loyalty but still have boundaries when it comes to their morals. They both make tough decisions to protect the ones that they love. They eventually realize that the ones they were completely loyal to weren't the same people they followed when they first met them. This is where their hearts show because they have to decide between following someone they thought they could count on forever or their own valued morals.
