  • In this video we get a Santa Fe towed in that intermittently stalled and has low power. We finally get it to fail and then not even start and we use our scan tool and scope to confirm the fault.

    Very concise and logical fault analysis. Having the right tools on hand (AND knowing how to use them) is worth every cent. No guesswork here!

    HS402 WiFi sure does have its place. I recognize Ramon's workmanship there:)

      Haha, I was thinking the same thing! Denis does it again. But your drive to constantly obtain and use new ideas/equipment is also very impressive Rob!

    Good work bro. Low pressure, low voltage. Had one come in with an issue. Send five volts to the rail pressure sensor. Check for power and ground. Change sensor. Car fix. The regulator doesn't give too much trouble but these injectors are one of the worse I ran into.

      You see a lot of them over there DJ?

      @@romanosautomotive yeah. Got two in the shop as we speak with injectors issues. Too much pressure on the return line. Keep push off the crimp on the return line.

    I assume you load tested b+ and ground at the pump connector, even though that wasn't the problem in the end.
    Side note; this car is filthy😕😕😕, good job regardless.

      The pump was connected while testing, that's the perfect load up test the voltage drops

    • @romanosautomotive
      @romanosautomotive  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the connector was connected to the pump when testing the power. The load being attached would've meant the 12v signal wouldn't have been there on my scope if there was voltage drop. Thanks for throwing the comment in there to discuss 🙏

    Hi, where can I buy a pressure gauge of that type that you show in the video?
