Also, for the Dark Knight and Caped Crusader reference, the reason the dialogue happens with Sub-Zero and Raiden could be because they were guest characters in Injustice 2, which did have Batman and Robin (or Superman, like you said).
If you have Johnny Cage face off with Geras, Geras's first line can sometimes be "I have seen things you wouldn't believe." This being a reference to Roy Baty's Tears in the Rain monologue from the sci-fi classic Blade Runner. Other than that, Johnny Cage will sometimes say "It's game over, man" when he lands a Brutality. He also said that when you fight an Alien in MKX, being a reference to Alien.
The Dark Knight is a reference to the fact that Sub Zero and Raiden were DLC characters in Injustice 2. There's a another reference when Sub Zero fights Cetrion.
In the Tarkatan War Camp map, to the right of the map next to the spear interactable, you can see one of Kabal’s hookswords I only noticed it a few days ago 😎

Theres one with Erron Black & Sub-Zero, when Sub-Zero asks what would Erron Black prefered, he said "I'd fight a goddamn space cowboy" - This is a reference to Spike Spielberg from the anime Cowboy Bebop, & how Sub-Zero shares the same voice-actor (Steve Blum) with him.
I understand why every character is difficult to being into one game as the balancing on them would be insanely time consuming, I assume. I still wish for it to happen one day. All past characters playable in one MK game. Anyways, one thing I do think they could do and would just require to create them (time, I know) are the past match finishers. Animalities, Friendships, Babalities, etc.
After hearing the matrix line, i instantly wanted the game 1000% more than i already did, I love the matrix, i fanboy all the time when the subject is brought up
The reference to Batman is based on the DLC for Injustice 2 where you can have a Subzero and Raiden as characters. So although the “caped crusader” can imply Superman or Robin, the line itself references their cameos.

Another one, if you wanna go music, at the character menu, it plays a song thats that of the part in the 1st movie where Lui Kang is confronting Shang Sung in the middle of their last battle. Fun fact about the Skyrim arrow to the knee meme, there's a second version of it which I got to witness firsthand. I don't know where all this one can happen but i want to say that i was in Dragonreach near the Jarl's place (if i am remembering location right). I was talking to a guard who says this "I was once an adventurer like you. Till I took a SWORD to the chest." as this line is being spoken it got even crazier as said guard was picked up and carried away by a dragon.

I understand why every character is difficult to being into one game as the balancing on them would be insanely time consuming, I assume. I still wish for it to happen one day. All past characters playable in one MK game.

Another one, if you wanna go music, at the character menu, it plays a song thats that of the part in the 1st movie where Lui Kang is confronting Shang Sung in the middle of their last battle. As well as Sonya's costume reference "Minimum Effort", can be related to Dead Pool's saying "Maximum Effort"
Thought some of the lines were just awkward as hell so this makes things make a lot more sense.

I don't know where all this one can happen but i want to say that i was in Dragonreach near the Jarl's place (if i am remembering location right).
