Mortal Kombat 11 Krypt - Kytinn Hive Puzzle Solution & How to Find the 3 Key Items

- A simple guide explaining how to solve the Kytinn Hive puzzle behind the Dragon Amulet door. Includes locations for all three gems including the important Shinnok's Amulet. Video also shows the Soul chests beyond the locked door to help you understand what valuable gear is there.
For the Shinnok's forge crafting, so long as you know the ingredients (shown in video) you can craft it. Besides the 10K Soul chest, the other ingredients come from killing spiders and random chest rewards.
Uploaded to help those who have not reached this far into the Krypt. For the rest of you....get back to grinding heads! :)
I know some of you have got this far already but I'm getting asked how to solve this puzzle by a lot of players, so putting this video out there to help those people. Hope it's helpful.
quick question, do you know why my levers are stuck in this puzzle? Like I have all 3 amulets, and i put in kronika's and cetrion's already. but when i went to put in shinnok's i couldn't turn cetrions to show it's amulet. is that a bug?

Spends 10 000 souls, a lot of gold, finally puts the 3rd amulet and gets rewarded with 5000 gold LMAOO
It's just for the finished puzzle.
Their might be some very awesome stuff in that unlocked hive.
The best thing you can possibly get is a cool skin, and even then it might be for someone you don’t play. It’s all just for fun and the experience. You won’t get some hidden character or something crazy. Now, if you play Lui Kang then you should hope to get the fire god skin because as of now nobody knows how to get that. Other than that, have fun!!

My dudes. The loot in that room are fixed. Meaning you’ll get the same loot as everyone else.
The Griefer is it good loot
11,500 souls and 60,000 koins for a nice 2000 koin reward :)

That's not the point, this area is to act as the last area of the krypt. (Besides the throne room)
LITARIUS he has alot of the heads done meaning hes done a lot of fatalities and fatalities give you hearts

As soon as I found the first Kytinn hive, I rushed through it as fast as possible, opening literally every chest just so I wouldn't have to deal with it ever again. And when I was done I though, "Wow, that was awful! But at least I never have to deal with *that* again!" So of course Netherrealm would put 2 OF THE GOD FORSAKEN THINGS in the krypt!
I'm just not gonna 100% the game.
For what it's worth, I just went to the Dead Woods to pay souls for the Ensorcelled Gem of Trapped Souls (for Shinnok's Amulet), and it was only 1,000 souls, not 10,000. Huge time-saver there for people still trying to get it.

I have been stuck on this part for days, showing what was in the 10k tree reward was a great help.
I had it all along but it was under 2 different names and that threw me off.
Pretty dumb that you lose time on your potion while the items are loading.
You can kill the spiders with your hammer.

Also the AI moving. Unlocking a chest and a Spider sneak behind me while i'm frozen.

What does the potion do? I dont get the krypt, at all. Hiw are people supposed to know what all the items do, which items to combine to get certain things, etc..like how are we supposed to know that we have to combine those 3 things to get shinnoks amulet? Where/how does it tell the players what they need?

Spiders are in 2 different locations... also if u have the vial of protection they will not touch u. I use it, go in, open chests and get out

Amazing Pearl not worth it just a small loot room
If you want to get it done faster, the game puts a lot of hype into towers, but souls and hearts are more easily acquired through a 1 round, very easy local fight. You'll always get 10 souls, but if you end it with a brutality, you'll also get 2 hearts.

The 10k souls has been updated on Xbox 1 it is now 1,000 souls. For the item in the forest

Today i finally got the 10,000 souls just to notice that it costed less, at least I can spend those souls in the Forest

I so lucked out. I literally just saved up 10k soul fragments and then they changed it to 1000. So now I have 9k more than I thought I would at this point lol

Easy Hearts and Souls.
Go To Survivor Tower and Choose Very Easy Difficulty. YOU MUST DO A MERCY!!! (Hold L2 And press down 4x)
Then either perform a Brutality or a Fatality.
Fatality after a Mercy=6 hearts.
Brutality after a Mercy 8 Hearts.
I dunno bout the souls though. With my augments it varies.

I just completed the puzzle by going to the soul "chests" whatever you want to call them on either side, aiming my camera where it will show or flip between both "hold" on the soul chests And "locked" on that sides amulet slot, spam A maybe take a step side to side, they will place. Got both to place within 10 seconds each. Definitely didn't seem worth it but I'll take free entry 😁

So while doing the tower for Centrions head, I noticed it's about 10 soul fragments per match. I don't mind the regular 100 soul things you can buy but Netherrealm REALLY needs to drop that 10,000 price down to like 1000. To save up to 10,000, your essentially playing over a 1000 matches just to unlock one thing that opens one gate. At least a 1000 souls would only equal 100 matches. You still have to earn it, but the reward is more reasonable. Also, can Netherrealm add a stat for how many fatalities and brutalities we performed on each character? I was up all night doing brutalities on Jacqui and had to stop because I was about to pass out so I don't know how much more I have to do. Literally, all Netherreaalm has to do is lower some of the prices and make skin rewards "a little" more common and things wouldn't feel so grindy.

Well, I got bad news for you bud, but I think Brutalities do not count towards heads, at least this is what I've heard.

@@emmanuelduron4893 I tried to combine Fatality (7) and Brutality (20), but in the end I did not count for the heads. Finally I ended up doing only the fatalities and if I started to give heads ... So I think it only works with fatality (possibly also that they can not be combined and you must do 25 Fatality or 25 Brutality, personally I do not corroborate it, but if can tell you that they can not be combined). In the end I think it was a waste of time to check that, so I only do Fatality, now I have all the heads, I took them all in the towers of time.

you can transmute them in the forge, gets you around 250 and I think there's one that gives 500. costs hearts and stuff doe

Need only pay 1k Koins to the Tribute, I also got the Shinok Amulet as a Prize from one of the Time Towers Kompletions.. I put those two into their slots then Farmed Cetrion's Head for the last Amulet, i placed it in, but no DOOR open... The Kronika Amulet was facing away and the Shinok and Kronika Leavers i could no longer Manipulate. So right now im kinda screwed..

Head glitch is still in full effect. Ps4 Enter Krypt, hold X and walk to one of the character severed head chest and it automatically opens. Saves a lot of time on unlocking
You can also do this glitch on almost anything that’s locked.

To get Cetrion head i just made the 1st Scorpion Fatality (25x) where he cuts the head, after that i got the severed heads

Since then, the number has been reduced to 25, and these fatalities/brutalities have to take place within the towers. Hope this small update helps!

I think they've changed the requirement for the Ensorcelled Gem of Trapped Souls to 1000 souls because it's not 10,000 souls when I go it.

There is a glitch to get Shinnok's Amulet really fast and by passing spending 10,000 soul fragments before you get Shinnok's Amulet go to the puzzle and on the right there should be soul vault keep tapping X on PS4 (Y on XBOX ONE) while aiming at the puzzle on the far left and you will unlock Shinnok's Amulet

You only need 25 fatality on cetrion
There is a way to get into the Kytinn Hive without all of the grinding. There’s a secret entrance using Kenshi’s blindfold.

Just checked the upcoming patch notes on WB site, posted about an hour ago. No mention of making changes to Krypt, only the rewards from Towers. So wouldn't get your hopes up but still hold fast until the patch is actually released before spending 10K souls just in case.

How do you farm all those souls
Towers of time
Towers of time and use your AI on the survival tower you will gain a lot just by collecting cetreon head
Cetrion's head requires 50 fatalities, rounding up a grand total of 500 souls and 50 hearts. Tower of Time depends on which tower you fight in, but you'll always get a nifty bonus souls/hearts if you score enough. If you can manage it, always try to end fights by using a MERCY and then a Brutality. This will raise your score a little bit. However, if you want an easier farm, then jump right into Local battles with a very easy AI and set it to 1 round. You can very easily manage a win which will always grant you 10 souls, and even better, a very fast brutality, which will always grant you 2 hearts. Use augments to help you increase your rewards.
It worked people.... And thanks for this video... Get Cetrion at the beginning of a tower in klassic or tower of time and start it over and you will get it.... JUST CALL ME #1
