Little hint if you get a set bar risers (bmw r1250r 23 model onward) they fit a low rider s perfectly which will lift the bars by half an inch and half an inch back towards you 👍
I've had this seat with the back rest on my 23 LRS for about 2 weeks. Although the backrest is phenomenal and the reason I got the seat the seat is a little on the firm side. I thought you would mention whether that initial firmness softens somewhat and after how long.
Absolutely. The break in period is quite lengthy and something I should have mentioned. I got the seat lightly used and I still feel like it took at least 1000-2000 miles to break in and still got better the more miles I added. The seat will be very hard for a while but is worth sticking with.
Just now seeing this comment. She rode passenger on the SDC for 500 miles over two days and Ive never heard the end of it. She’s done 8,000 miles this summer in the driver seat with no complaints. For 2 up I would try the Saddleman Explorer with drivers backrest. Link below. amzn.to/3Z52Gl5
I was 4K miles into mine, “break in period”. The seat is garbage and uncomfortable for anything longer than an hour. You might as well be sitting on a brick. DO NOT BUY
The SDC pro seems to have pretty good resale. Hopefully you were able to recoup some of your money. I've done 10 hour days on it and absolutely love it. To me the soft seats that look comfortable are no good after an hour.
@@Vicpadilla79I’ve owned a lot of seats Le Pera has never done me wrong. If you want a back support seat check out Le Pera. Saddlemen seats are super trendy and super uncomfortable. If you wanna ride some distance stay away from them.
@@Vicpadilla79 I have owned all major brand seats. My favorite throughout all of the seats I have ever owned are Le Pera. I’m not paid or sponsored like most TH-cam channels. I can tell you SDC seat is trash like most saddleman products. Le Pera and Mustang are the most comfortable I have ever owned.

Did you paint the SDC logo black bc all the sdc seats comes with white logos. I called and it can’t be custom ordered/changed from saddlemen.
Thank you!
did you custom order the black logo?
The TwinsMG?
@@twinsmotogarage1866 on the sdc saddlmen seat usually the sdc seat logo is white but you have it blacked out
Probably spray painted it with automotive vinyl upholstery paint

Does she ride 2 up with you with that seat? If so, does she have complaints?

What sissy bar do you run ?
This one is detachable. I think it’s from Harley.
I thought it was an Africa Twin too😂

Which seat do you recommend? I want something that’s soft on my butt, but gives good back support.
