Your subtle sense of humor is priceless-you toss out hilarious comments without a pause; love it. I also love the “no apology” for salt and protein. I, too, love pb with celery, apples, and carrots. A snack that sticks.
Actually, considering all the discounts, grill and three stores, Meghan got things that will last awhile; her total wasn't that bad! That's a month or more groceries for a family of seven!
Oh my gosh, Meghan! You probably just walked in the door and you're shopping (expected), filming and editing (both unexpected, totally unexpected?! God Bless You!!! Yes, I too was a Girl Scout from 2nd through 6th grades. Then, in college, I decided to become a Junior GirlScout Leader for two years...like the last two years of college wasn't enough for me, right? 😅 I love to freeze the GS Thin Mints! Keeps hubby & I from eating every one of them. So, they are so good frozen!!! Glad you're all home safe & sound!!! Welcome Home!!! Nancy
I was a cadet scout. We went primitive camping in strpper pits once. Not fun. But we camped at Camp Koch on the Ohio River. very fun. SW Indiana weather very springlike in March. Sunny and 73 today.
I too was a Girl Scout, Brownies (they didn't have Daisy scouts when I was young) through Cadets; then when my daughter was small I was the leader and I did the cookie chair person thing. Being the cookie chair is dangerous!!! Having all those extra cookies sitting in your family room, just begging to be consumed .... yikes. My favorite is and has always been Thin Mints, pop them in the freezer and eat them frozen, so good. The second best is the Caramel Delights. I must say you have excellent taste. LOL
Glad you got home safely. Great job 👏 watching you at home. Love to see a video on all you got and how you store it. Love your channel. Love 💕 and Hugs. 💙💙💙
Those chicken apple sausages are so yummy.. i make granny smith apples, onion, garlic & mushrooms with them.. usually roasted baby potatoes. Kielbasa.. fry potatoes, onions & garlic.. then add the kielbasa then add fresh green beans(close lid til the green beans get done)😊
Yay, I’ve missed your once a month hauls. I was never a Girl Scout(went the sports route instead) but we had family in both Girl or Boy Scouts. I can totally picture your dad as the leader of your troupe. I love the Samoas/Caramel Delights and Tagalongs/Peanut Butter Patties the most. Yum.
Yes, I was in Girl Scouts, many years ago, our cookies were 50 cents a box! Yes! I’m that old! Thin mints and the butter cookies! Hubby like the caramel with the coconut on them, are those called caramel-de-lites?
I got Girl Scout cookies today outside the store too. Sad they were out thin mints. I got Tagalongs and do si dos. Even though they changed the name on them both but I am old school and I call them by the old names. 😊
Girl scout memories, my mother helped me deliver over 100 boxes of cookies to the customers doors, back then alot more work . That day it was snowing like crazy...
aldi and meijer is awesome I like costco and sams i don't go as much as id like to but im gonna start soon woodmans is probably my favorite store they have everything
Great haul! Remember when all my children were home. They are 47,40,39 next week an 34 for ever. So now just have Pa an 13 year old grandson who eats for 2 or 3. Growing . Already Christmas gifts are too short. So really enjoy refreshing hauls for real people! Blessings on your journey 💜🌷🌷
Great haul Megan u did very good u know the bargains. Apparently lemon squeeze in water is good for gout too I went to Costco on the weekend got some. Bargins avocado oil is good for u high burning oil compared to olive have a amazing day
Good morning! I liked the Meijer run, as we are surrounded by Meijer stores. The chicken apple sausages are good. Also, you were asking about tortillas. Not sold in bulk, but Meijer sells plant based tortillas by Mission that we like. Protein is, I think, 8 gm. You probably already know this, but Costco has the same “cash back” as Sam’s, but it’s only disbursed once a year. Since I have the Costco credit card, I get a rewards check that has to be used in the store, & an additional check (usually much higher) that I can either cash out or use in the store. That one I usually cash out & it goes into savings. Thanks for shopping trips!
Yes I was a brownie and girl scout. Went on to be a leader of my daughters troop and placement leader for new girls. My favorite girl scout cookie is thin mint but I loved the shortbread cookies too. Gas here is running $2.99 to $3.39 depending on where you are at in surrounding area.
You are back home, so glad to shop with you. Lots of great food today. A big yes to NO High Fructose Corn Syrup. Spikes your Blood Sugar big time. Your vaca blogs were so fun. Vaca shopping showing items not up here in IN. ❤
$2.85 a gallon for gas where I live. Girl Scout Cookies it's anything with coconut and or chocolate. We do now have an Aldi but I have not made it there yet. But their prices seem legit. That Hillshire farm sausage I can remember my local Rouse's Supermarket having it on sale a few years ago for $1.99. Oh how things have changed. We do not have a Meijer's. They must just be in the midwest. What is really amazing is my first job in high school everything was so much cheaper. Just that tomato sauce you said was 95 cents was 3 for a $1,00 lol.
Hi Meghan, if you are buying salmon be sure to buy wild caught. Not farm raised. The farm raised doesn’t have the nutritional value because of what they feed them.
I was a girl scout for a number of years until our leader got mad at some of the girls and literally left us at the lodge we were camping at and we had to call our parents to come amd get us at 11 pm. Nonetheless I enjoyed selling cookies. We always set up a table at Bachmann's, a large flower shop near where I lived. Im glad to know about cutting that pork . Might have to do it.
I have watched your channel now for sometime and I have just been in the hospital for 23 days with chronic stage 3 kidney failure and I watched every video you put on your channel for the last 23 days and I can always count on you to cheer me up you was a great comfort to me when I was in the hospital love everything you do 😊 xx
I am a lifetime GS, I'm hoping my daughters will be interested in it when they get older. Samoas/Carmel delights and Tagalongs/peanut butter patties are my favs.
Your subtle sense of humor is priceless-you toss out hilarious comments without a pause; love it. I also love the “no apology” for salt and protein. I, too, love pb with celery, apples, and carrots. A snack that sticks.
Loving the smuckers natural strawberry so far. I really enjoyed this video, I’m in it for the “long haul “😊♥️
🙏🙏🙏
I have missed your once a month grocery videos!!!!!
Oh. My. Gosh. Had NO IDEA about the avocado trick. You just saved me serious $$ 😮🥑👏🏼
Wow, the amount of money it takes to feed a family is just mind blowing.
It doesn't have to, depends on what you buy and how you shop. I spend about halfish what she did, in this haul, for the entire month.
Actually, considering all the discounts, grill and three stores, Meghan got things that will last awhile; her total wasn't that bad! That's a month or more groceries for a family of seven!
@@annfoster5190 the grill wasnt included in the total she gave though.
@@rachelday9585 Oh my.
Cook white rice, 2 cups water, 1 cup rice bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. 😊
Your dad is such a good egg. I love that he did girl scouts with you
I was a Brownie, Girl Scout and Cadet. I still have my badges and I am 67 years old now. I also was a Den mother for my boys scout troop.
Oh my gosh, Meghan! You probably just walked in the door and you're shopping (expected), filming and editing (both unexpected, totally unexpected?! God Bless You!!!

Always buy the thin stalks of asparagus. They are super tender.
Love watching you and your family. Thanks for sharing your life.😊
I was a Girl Scout several years my favorite cookie is a thin mint and you’re even better when you put them in the freezer
That's where mine are right now😂😂
I was a cadet scout. We went primitive camping in strpper pits once. Not fun. But we camped at Camp Koch on the Ohio River. very fun. SW Indiana weather very springlike in March. Sunny and 73 today.
Aldi has some of the thinnest asparagus I’ve ever seen. And they are Delicious!!
I love the “what’s new” series you do, but I especially love this video! Fun to see what you buy for your family. Lots of goodies!
I was a girl scout and a Cadet. Love your hauls. Don't have Aldi or Meijer but enjoy your hauls. TYFS
I would love to see some of your recipes and the food that you cook
Wonderful video. I love your humor❣❣❣❣❣❣❣❣
Thank you so much! 🙏❤️

😂😂😂 way to go. Way to go making it through Cadets. We moved before I could ever make it that far.
we like the thicker asparagus. Use a carrot peeler on the lower stalk & they are delish!
Favorite GS cookie, Tagalongs. Never in GS but was a co-leader with the bestie when her daughter was a GS
Dollar tree has refried beans that brand you bought in a pouch so good
Glad you got home safely. Great job 👏 watching you at home. Love to see a video on all you got and how you store it. Love your channel.
Love 💕 and Hugs. 💙💙💙
Fabulous!!
Jack’s Salute grapes are some of the best red grapes!!!
Love seeing your monthly hauls. Florida looked like alot of fun
I love those filigree leaf earrings! I love most any filigree earrings as long as they're not too large.

I feel this deep in my soul. It was hard being a Girl Scout.
You can buy strawberries cheaper out of season than we can get in season here - in New Zealand
😳😳😳
aldi and meijer is awesome I like costco and sams i don't go as much as id like to but im gonna start soon woodmans is probably my favorite store they have everything
I do that with lemons and limes and I zest them all and freeze the zest as well.
I'm sorry for the loss of your 34 year old.❤
Welcome home princess Megan great video as always.
As per the lemons. Zest them first. Double duty
Your eggs are most likely just fine. You can eat them like a month after the best by date
Thanks, great haul. Im going to go get that shower curtain bathroom set. Getting ready to mive into brand new apartment. Excited🤍🤍🤍🤍
Enjoy your move-in to the new apartment! I put up the shower curtain and I love it.

We buy red hot candies and put them in our applesauce, soooooo good! You should try it!😊
Use the Barrilla gold box of pasta. It cooks up more like regular pasta but it has protein flours in it. It is good!
The vaycay did you good Megan 😊. You glow😊😊😊
Aldi is my favorite place to shop they've Best kind of foods for my diabetic diet i love this place 💖
If you need to ripen an Avocado, either put it in a dark cupboard or use a small brown paper bag.
Oh, the Thin Mints! I put mine in the freezer first. It keeps the chocolate from getting on your fingers while you eat the entire sleeve!❤❤❤
Glad you made it home safely. I sure enjoy your videos. I like the thin mint Girl Scout cookies and the do-si-dos the best.
Glad you like them! 😀🙏 Thin mints are the best!
I was in girl scouts from brownies to cadets and thin mints are my favorite

I am a girl scout leader for my granddaughter.. was a gs leader for 15 years for my daughters. I love it
My favorite girl scout cookies are the thin mints but I tried the French toast ones this year. They were delicious 😋😋😋. Take care, 🌹 Rose
I want a grill too! I’m not sure if I could make anything taste good, but I’d love to try.
I wasn’t a Girl Scout. But my favorite cookie was and is thin mints, I put them in the freezer. Not for to long but to get them very cool. So yummy. 😋

Of I was a Girl Scout! A Brownie first though! BTW… Dollar Tree sells Mint cookies that taste just like thin mints!

Hi Meghan, if you are buying salmon be sure to buy wild caught. Not farm raised. The farm raised doesn’t have the nutritional value because of what they feed them.
, squeezable jelly/jam.....need that, so less messy....but from the UK ....so will have to source that out 😊
I was a girl scout for a number of years until our leader got mad at some of the girls and literally left us at the lodge we were camping at and we had to call our parents to come amd get us at 11 pm. Thin mints for sure and gas in Louisiana is 2.87
Welcome back 🏡 Megan
The easiest way to cook rice is 1 for 1 rice and water.
favorite girl scout cookies are either thin mint or samosa
Just a suggestion see if your area have flash food program it will save you money
I’m with you on this thin mints thing. I was in Girl Scouts from I think second grade through seventh grade. And gas was $3.21 at Kroger yesterday.
I'm a 30 minute drive to a Sam's so I really love Plus Membership for the free shipping on so many things I use. Glad you made it home safely❣
Yes! Free shipping is awesome.
I was in Girl Scouts, in 1966, cookies were 50 cents a box, I’m sure there were more in the box than today
We are under $3/gallon in SC!
