The dehydrator that we use so much is back in stock and on sale! This is what we use to dehydrate the soaked nuts… www.londonsunshine.com/?ref=ru-aUKFxe221VJ
Yes! I can't imagine what our food bill would look like if we needed dairy, eggs and meat. I am so thankful we started our homestead when we did. ♥ We are planning a big stock up too, so it was helpful to watch yours. We live in the full totality zone of the upcoming eclipse and the local stores are saying that they could be without food for up to two weeks because of how many people are expected! 😲😲😲
Me tooo. I love that grass fed butter. It is so good. It is wonderful as a baking fat; sauteeing; and on toast. I was a kerrygold only girl for years but I’ve added the Costco grass fed.
Great video! I just love grocery hauls of large families! (I have 7 living children that are home educated and my eldest passed on) I just realized that you all and Tribe of many... have a Bella and they have a Belle.
It is so sweet you honor what some of your family members are trying to do with the GAPS diet. It is so sweet you made sure to order them some treats! Great job! Sending your family blessings from the Pacific Northwest.
Julie - have you ever don’t a video on how you find out what are in products / how it is good or bad for you and how you determine what you do or don’t consume. And where you find all your valuable info?
Hi Julie! I would love to hear about your livestock expenses. I appreciated the chicken feed fermenting video to allow you to feed organic non gmo (now labeled Bioengineered Ingredients) feed to your chickens. I am curious about how you save money on quality feed for your other animals. So glad you are feeling better.
We have our own meats eggs, and a years worth of stuff set aside, I had to go get a few things for quick meals because my husband and I have to be gone and it was $88
We try so hard to buy the most nutritious food for our family and even Azure still stores and packs in plastic. Some how we need to bring back glass that can be reused safely.
Julie, while you let your body heal, IF possible, could you share any mutton recipes you use please? I love your kids, fact. I am delighting in watching Benjamin's growth. Hearing his speech, what he is thinking, how he added to his "good bye" friends. Thank you MUCHLY for sharing! (Do not over do it will upend 🙃 your life!)
Watching you is like travelling for free to US to see how life looks like there. Even the most expensive trip won't give us such a wonderful insight in what Americans buy and consume.😊 Thank you. Superb treat ❤
At our Costco they switched from the glass avocado oil bottle to another brand in a plastic bottle, your Costco might be in the process of switching over and getting that. We are in Michigan.
They sell that wild caught salmon at Aldi's too. Dang, Aldi's costs more. I make a sauce that has maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke and garlic. Marinate the salmon in that. Then when i bake the salmon, I'll put the marinade in a saucepan to warm up and then we drizzle it on the salmon when we go to eat it. Omg, so so good! We don't have a Costco. 😫😫😫 But we do have a Sam's club. It's ok, but I don't think it's as good as Costco. So glad we grow our own food and between hunting, fishing, Turkey's and chickens, we get enough meat. Someday we will get beef cows and lambs. I miss beef. Just buying dairy products alone is a big part of our grocery bill. 😮
Our farm feed costs (a full garden, dairy goats, plus birds for meat and eggs), plus all inclusive grocery costs, including occasional snacks and all cleaning products for last year averaged us 800-1000 a month family of 4 with 2 dogs s and a cat. We do get a lot of fish and deer meat thoughout the year too. If we were 100% dependent on shopping it would be unattainable. We have dietary restrictions for intollerances to pork, gluten and lactose, so producing our own nutrients is more than a hobby choice.
There's only 4 of us and our grocery bill is crazy but we value high quality food so we make it a priority. We love Azures raw cheese and all the organic Nancys products.
Waaaw what a great haul ... I loved watching it ... and yes alfalfa is very high in calcium ... so it's definitely possible that your milk cow is producing more milk because of these pellets ...
@@GodISSovereign17why on earth would seeing someone has nice facial features be lustful? That’s weird. They are both a lovely couple, inside and outside. Nothing lustful about it.
@@jdxx59 I was referring to the original commenter’s remark that Jason is a “handsome hunk”. The term “hunk” comes from “hunk of meat” which has VERY sexual undertones. Either way, it’s what’s inside that counts. All flesh is grass.
Me and my 3 kids (ages 6, 4, and 2) all have major GI issues. I think it's SIBO. We've done all the diets. Nothing works for us except carnivore. We can have olive oil. And we use Ultima electrolyte packets. We consume the salty Human chocolate bar occasionally... we just ordered some primal prime beef protein powder to make lots of things with, I use egg powder to make things, I whip upnegg whites often to make things, we eat lots of sheep yogurt, we do seasons where we eat goat cheese and sometimes the irish butter (from cows) and we seasons when we consume no dairy. But other than that we eat eggs, chicken, and beef. That's it. The usual is just the plain meat and eggs. But I like to mix it up and have a sweet treat so I'll make things using the first ingredients I mentioned. Carnivore is truly a live saver for us.
what is it about rural living that families have lots of kids?? Why do you guys understand being generous with God and most people dont want kids or think that one boy and one girl is all they want? Anyway its awesome to see !! May God bless you all❤
I think it's the reverse. Families with lots of kids choose to move to more rural areas. #1 it's cheaper to live rural. #2 it's nice to have privacy and space for the children to be outside.
Your family is lovely, but hope you will reconsider having any more children. A friend of mine has 9 children, her husband died, and it's close to impossible for her to manage things.
I’m sorry to hear about your friend but I’m sure you must understand that there is a bad possible scenario for just about everything you could think of. If you make your life decisions based on the “what ifs” you might as well not get out of bed in the morning. We each need to do what we are called to do, rather than taking the advice from a stranger on the internet ❤️
I understand if you’d like to move onto another channel. That is perfectly OK. However, our animals have a great life, unlike the animals who are sold for meat in the grocery stores. That’s why we choose to do it ourselves
Does your husband have a good paying job to feed the family or do you get help from the state, the reason I ask is my granddaughter is haveing another baby to make three (2yr 10 mo & one on the way) and she says even with her full time job she is bearly making it with rent and bills and she cant get any kind of help from her state ( wic or food stamps )and wonder how you do it ty

Some years were difficult but those were also times that we learned a lot! There are so many things that just aren’t necessities. 😊 These days Jason’s job pays well and it is a blessing to us.

You can also try liquid IV it's stuff that you put in your bottled water. It keeps you hydrated you use only one a day
Well done!
An awesome video , thank you for sharing and so happy to see you are up and able to walk around and Interact with the children more
Love watching your grocery hauls!! Thanks for sharing

We soak the grain for all of our animals now. Makes it more filling and nutritious for them. ❤️
I get my avocado oil from azure in a gallon jug and the price was close to what it would be at Costco (in WA state anyways).
I’ll check that out. Thank you!!
WOW
Awesome haul and azure haul
We have our own meats eggs, and a years worth of stuff set aside, I had to go get a few things for quick meals because my husband and I have to be gone and it was $88
It adds up so fast!
We have around 2000$ for all bills including food for 6 kids. And everything is just going up.
We try so hard to buy the most nutritious food for our family and even Azure still stores and packs in plastic. Some how we need to bring back glass that can be reused safely.
Yes. As much as possible we try to buy products packaged in glass also.
We've been getting that salmon from Costco too! It's delicious!
I have 6 kids and we buy and bake our own bread too! Love your channel ❤
Yes! The groceries are outrageous!
They will be because even with all those kids they can afford to buy organic food.....
We all choose what we spend our money on 💞
You are all stocked up for awhile
Very nice,

We are a family of 10 and our budget is $1800. We do not have any animals. Our favorites from Azure are the Graziers yogurt and cheese.
Life today is getting harder for everyone wither you have children or not . But the more you can do for yourself the better.

Aw thank you for that sweet comment!
Do you have a recipe you love for sauce? I’ve been searching for a good one!
This year I used Ruthann Zimmerman’s tomato sauce recipe 😊 It’s on her TH-cam channel
Mom of six .. loving your videos

I’ll keep an eye out for that!
I don't have a dehydrator. Can I get the same results by putting nuts in the oven?
Yes! Just put your oven as low as it can possibly go
Cost compare the frozen berries from azure, for us it’s cheaper
I’ll check that out. Thanks!
When are you going to do a video on fixing up your new van?
We’ve taken some footage of the beginning stages, I just need to edit it into one video
Great!
Great
Where do you store your food and where to you have your freezer? In an outbuilding ?
We have an extra fridge and freezers in our barn 😀

Yes I love dates!
Good food haul!❤🎉😊

where is your pantry?
Liquid Iv is wonderful.
I realized today, Jason is such a handsome hunk.. 😎
Haha…you’ve only just realised that? Yes he is very handsome and Julie is gorgeous and that’s why they have the best looking and loveliest kids!
There’s a reason The Bible tells you not to look upon others with lust, especially a married man. Treat others the way you want to be treated.

What is the reason you get three different types of dog food? Could you have raised all the dogs on the same type of food?
The three types are adult dog food, puppy food, and cat food 😄

Nothing better than NY maple syrup

Do your children learn to prepare meals? How much per person do you spend on an average month? How much do you spend just on toilet paper per month?
I'm glad to see you homeschool your children. Schools are the worst place to send children.
