I really don't understand how it's so prevalent for players to be so delusional. NO ONE reflects about a single thing. People go "My dps suck", "no healing", "tank is throwing" my brother in Christ you are standing in the middle of the open, even if you had 2 mercy pockets and 3 reins they wouldn't be able to save you from yourself
You can be playing tank; get more elims, damage, and healing than the rest of your team combined; and highest in the game, get POTG of you clutching the last fight on OT with a 5 piece; essentially always on point alone,ALL AT ONCE, and it’ll still be your fault you (almost) lost, every time…
It's because it's way easier to blame someone else than it is to blame yourself. Harada the game director for Tekken 8 cited this in a interview for why fighting games aren't as popular among the younger generation, he said (I'm paraphrasing) "fighting games are less popular among young people because you don't have teammates to blame, if you lose it's all your own fault." Another side of this same coin is so many people give up so easily at the first sign of a game not going how they want it to it's embarrassing
As a support main, I have learned to let them bounce off me. When a Cassidy dolphin dives into the front line, hits 1/5 shots, dies instantly, then claims a support diff, I usually just type "lol" and leave game. No use in defending someone who doesn't even know where their own two feet are located on the map.
“To be fair i wouldn’t expect the Mercy to valk to get the Widow” when I play mercy, I will valk specifically to get the widow if no one else is killing her. Ez kill
Mercy diving Widow is a skill check on the Widow. Either they hit a snap headshot and get a free kill or they die. Bonus if you rez someone right after like this Mercy did.
6:10 as a support main I completely agree with this statement. If my teammates have bad positioning (which happens often) I either have the choice to let them die or go in to save them and feed/die in the process which isn’t helping at all. On mercy especially sometimes I have 1 dps with good positioning and 1 with bad positioning and usually I stick to the one with good positioning way more because if I don’t I will get myself killed
I’ve had to learn on kiriko I’m not invincible and can’t always go in to save my out of position teammates. More often I’ll just feed them a double kill. Been a lot better about it lately.
THIS!! Its impossible to heal through walls yet nearly everyone positions as such (they love being across the map spamming heals) and will be shocked when they die. OR you get the teammate who will go in at half health expecting a full pocket the whole time, like other people dont need to be healed ;-; like cmon now, ill give you your pocket but you best be getting the value from it if not expect to be playing respawn simulator
Not like most of the tunnel-visioned ones who are that isolated appreciate if you get yourself killed trying to save them anyway. They'll usually respawn first, proceed to go in way too deep again with no backup, die, and then start whining about not getting healed from the support still just getting out of spawn. Because every support is somehow supposed to be a Kiriko with no teleport range limit that should be on their ass 100%.
another thing I want to point out is, Listen to the heros coms, Just when Kiriko said “ uhh i think were outnumbered “ Just put that into consideration to kinda back up. Sometimes we just ignore those coms and die when the team isn’t there.
Im at 3 minutes, see the comments slating this guy, My take was exactly the same as yours, Standing around like hes in bronze, but his aim is sick (So Far)
To be fair at that point him standing in the open was far more effective than him going up on high ground him in the middle stopped the doom from advancing beyond the door which kept ever other enemy out of his LoS sure he couldnt kill them but neither could they kill him and the enemy are the ones with the pressure to push there. (also i wouldnt call that cracked aim even though its really good its also short range aim and that character scopped can hit 95% of a barrel with 1 shot.)
As a widow/ashe main, it did hurt to see the good aim with terrible positioning. The reason I can win most 1v1s against enemy widows even with worse mechanical skill is due to positioning and understanding where and how people see you. If you play widow and have cracked aim, but you stay in the same spot, all the enemy widow needs to do is grapple launch from around a corner and aim in your general direction vs you having to completely guess where and how they are gonna peak. Your consistent bullet trail gives the enemy widow a guess as to where you are and in a widow 1v1, knowing that little bit more will almost always win you the 1v1. Also the ego battles get real with this hero. Sometimes, it is better to switch off of widowmaker, even if it seems like you are doing the most because in reality, just picking a different hero will provide more value through sheer existence. For example, if the enemy team goes rein/sigma, sure, I could play widowmaker and pick people off when the shields go down, but that requires me to move from good positioning and/or take angles that are not ideal. Instead, I could go junk, pharah, bast, or even hanzo in order to break the shield and not only give myself more openings, but also give my teammates some openings as well. And please, if you are losing the 1v1, SWAP. Its okay to switch off to a hero if you lost the 1v1 to a widow because at the end of the day, if you lost it going 3 : 11, but still won the game, YOU STILL WIN. (This is from someone with 230+ hrs on widow watching people continue to play widow and cost their team over ego)
@@kennethcarter9813 Seeing NUMEROUS people blame one role (supports/tanks blaming dps, dps/supports blaming tank, tanks/dps blaming supports) when the real problems were things that could be easily fixed. When people say "you belong in gold" they aren't refering to JUST your mechanical skill or gamesense, but a combination. Even the best mechanically skilled widow will get demolished by an above average widow if they have poor positioning and get tilted fast.
@@maxieflyr For me, I usually wait until they swap off widow and then switch off widow as well. In most cases, widow is NOT good as most maps (that aren't junkertown, rialto, circut royale, havana, etc) and it would be more beneficial to just go ashe or even cass.
These plat dps vids have been great, since i see a lot of my same mistakes in them! I feel like most plat dps seem to suffer from these exact mistakes, as well as movement
A good mercy player should never be seen, and when she has to be seen, she is always bouncing between players. The latter is her weakness because her general heals are low, so if force her to split between multiple targets to avoid fire, she is ineffective. You also need a dive to force her out of spots. Winston it up, get in, force her to bounce, and jump out.
8:59 so glad you mentioned the tire as a mercy player. There’s no way I’m gonna shoot that tire I always rely on my DPS to do it when I saw the ash hiding. It’s like you want your team to get pushed back. Worst case scenario is the tire gets you only your mercy revives you
This person is just really good at taking shots on people who aren't looking or shooting back. Obviously they have bad positioning but more than that they have no idea what to do when a fight breaks out in front of them. Even in plat, good widows can nail headshots on soldiers running them down at mid to close ranges pretty consistently. But for this person if the enemy was running or shooting at them they just panic shoot and die. This person is clearly a practice range guru but not so much in the actual FPS part of the game.
Best tip as an Ashe main for Ult is to Bob for obj time/stall and when the enemy has to pay attention to another person's Ult before dealing with Bob. Timing, pairings, and placement is key
I used to be like this and blame my team for everything and never look at my mistakes and i see a lot of people making this same mistake, you will never climb with this mindset because you don’t look at you own mistakes and always blame your teammates which’s a bad thing. You need to understand and learn from your mistakes, i used to be stuck in gold for few seasons back in OW1 and let me tell you it was a journey to say the least, i was very negative, blame others, etc… but once i got myself out of that mindset guess what? I climbed from gold to master in just a few seasons because i learned and got better. That’s the fun of learning. This player is good but he needs to position himself better and as a support main i can already hear what he’s saying every time he dies, “where is my heal?” Before asking that try to understand why you died in the first place, same goes to Tanks who play too aggressive and never fall back and stuff like that. Look at your own mistakes because getting angry at others.
@ oh hey, i wasn’t trying to be mean because i had the same problems before, i was just talking in general and i'm glad you fixed your mistakes because you’re not bad at all you just need to understand your positions, and as a support main i'll give you my opinion i think you just need a better positioning because if you have a bad position your supports will die along with you and sometimes they won’t heal you a lot because of that but if you fixed it then you’re all good. My bad if i sounded mean i wasn’t talking about you but in general because i do run into a lot of players who feed a lot with bad positions and blame others “not you tho” I'm glad you ranked up tho because your aim is really good!
Will say: His friendly Mercy is WAY to focused on keeping their Tank up. Enemy Mercy has free reign to pocket enemy DPS all day but Friendly Mercy only comes back if Widow is getting actively dove. Friendly Mercy also spends a lot of time babysitting a Pharah playing into double hitscan DVa in the second half vs the Widow who’s getting 3 Elims every fight. So they can work on their positioning 100% but friendly Mercy is PAINFULLY Plat. Edit: I’m now watching back and Chad enemy Mercy is almost exclusively Blue Beam unless people are crit while Virgin friendly Mercy is Yellow Beaming full HP targets in Valk. Like… this was gonna be an uphill climb even WITH their terrible positioning lol
It is, this looks like high sensitivity with low aim smoothing so it's much more flicky. I've played against my fair share of ximmers in diamond-masters and I don't think this person is. They've just got great aim but atrocious positioning lol
@@SampleChan No, I agree, there's something fishy here. For example, there are a few times where the aim jiggles left and right (not from side-to-side movement, it's a radial turn) really fast. That's something people do with a mouse, not a controller. If you're watching closely enough, you can also clock times when there should be a speed shift while the stick pass through the dead zone during movement or aim, but it's not there. This looks much more like a Xim player that adjusted a few settings than a controller player with tuned up aim assist and unusually good flick timing.
Nawww. The way he looks left and right and moving is completely controller. The aim is smooth because he has his sticks deadzone really low for quick reactions. There isn’t flick. More positioning. BUT that’s just opinion. But it’s pretty legit.
It does seem odd how people are so immediately deflecting of accountability. The reasons are probably layered and complex. We’ve probably all had the experience of dominating a game on a hero and then playing the same hero in the next game and feeling like we can’t even peek for one moment before dying. Human psychology probably makes it easy for us to reason that we haven’t changed anything about our gameplay so the change in results must be because of something our teammates are doing differently. Beyond the initial frustration, we like to be able to identify a clear and singular cause for the different results that we see. Whereas the reality is that the game has so many variables like different hero compositions, different maps, timings, etc. which can all impact even a single duel in so many ways and lead to high variance in the individual experiences of each player. The irony is that this variance is also probably what keeps us coming back.
This kind of DPS is why it's important for supports and tanks to be in team chat and vocal. Call out bad positioning as it's happening. Otherwise, the flames of fire in chat after the game will be impossible to put out. At least calling them out the entire game gives them nobody to blame but themselves. And if they push back, watch your team come to your defense (unless you're a legit braindead support).
When they have a crap ton of flankers you stick near the tank or healers, and/or pick a hero that counters that. The top 500 ranged DPS you can see them re-position every 2 or so shots when the enemy team has a bunch of flankers; they are always moving. Also there are trick spots everywhere on many maps where they can't get you outright; you have to learn them for your own preservation.
@@Pachimari1_1movement is key! Also try to use your mic to ask for help or let people know a sombra or tracer is about to engage on you. Communication is OP. Unfortunately lots of people prefer to not be in VC
the one person in chat who said 'I wouldn't expect the Mercy to go for the Widow' is funny and is obviously not a Mercy player; so many of us make hunting Widows during our ults a hobby because if a Widow misses that first headshot and you can aim, it's over for them.
Overwatch is a “team game” where you don’t HAVE to play as a team. Sometimes you get 1-3 people in your game who are so good they literally run the whole lobby, not necessarily a Smurf sometimes you just have a good game or two. But the problem is some people when they have a few good games they have this “expectation” that their team needs to be watching them, keeping them up, peeling for them EVERY SECOND OF THE GAME. So you wanted to be the carry but now ur team is basically having to carry you. That’s overwatch
They need to expand their hero roster too. Stayed on widow too long and tried to force her to work. Can't always get away with that. They have the aim to play more heroes just have to make the proper decision to do so especially if you can't leave spawn
DPS invites the new mindset players like if they just installed OW for the first time. There's so much begging for individual skill expression but constantly resort to blaming their team the very moment they feel a negative emotion.
@@bigalkk oh you did this for attention got it okay. Anyways my complaint was general, trust me, we’ve seen plenty of it. You probably get that since you worked so hard for a bait video. Money well spent?
Something i think people don't understand against brawl/dive comp is that, sometimes, the safe spot is in the enemy backline. I say that based on other kinds of game. I feel like widow was trying to run from the pressure that they were taking and at the same time pressuring their backline. As a strategy it seems fine. she got rolled by their sups twice, unlucky.
When I play as a tank or dps, and even support sometimes I'll die and feel that I could've survived had my support been better in than moment, or had my tank helped out. There are so many situations where we will FEEL and think "damn it.. really..?". But I'll never put it out into the chat and actually BLAME anyone (unless it's a thrower). I'll just try to adapt to it and play safer against the enemy that threatens me most and hope this fixes the team dynamic so we can all play well. Sadly this doesn't work a lot of the time in Plat as there can sometimes feel as if some teammates are in a different world.
It looked like they're a hacker when they killed then zen and almost killed the doom at 2:35 to 2:42. I haven't finished the video yet so idk if this happens more or emongg picks up on it but it looked like perfect tracking on their center of mass
honestly i wish them all the best of luck with working on their positioning cause i feel like with that aim on widow especially they could be terrifying to go against
@izab3ru from what I have heard, my dps are kinda lacking in the "quick! get up there!" department. I sometimes use wall to deny my opponents high ground advantage but some teammates would prefer a more permanent solution.
You would be surprised how good console aim could be with tons of practice. Some good settings, adjusting aim assist could change a lot for playing on controller. I play console widow, and my aim assist is low but my normal sensitivity is also lower, helping me have better control over the joysticks.
@@firewolf5902 yeah j don't disagree they could just have good aim. But if they peaked plat 3. Ehh. But with how prevalent smurfs and xims are. I'm always kinda skeptical.
Oh they’re almost for sure ximming. I didn’t even know it was console until I looked in the comments (I usually zone while listening). Their aim is way too smooth to be controller imo
While I don't know if it's the reason why they're doing this, and their position is still very much off if that's what they're going for, sometimes the only way to get your team to peel is to stand next to them. Especially in metal ranks while I was climbing.
you need a lot less peeling if you're in a good spot. not to mention that you shouldn't stay in one spot for too long. you can take a good position and then fall back into LOS of your team for healing. if you're getting constantly pressured, there are still good spots on high ground you can take that will make it harder for them to get you. maybe they still get you but the trade off is that you distracted them (they went for you instead of your teammates) and when you're in a good spot, the other team has to use cooldowns to get to you. and then they don't have those cooldowns to use against your team. I'm a profoundly mediocre DPS player but you would not believe the amount of value I can contribute just by taking high ground and pressuring the other team (and missing all my shots of course but they're zoning shots, ofc). I never stay too long, though, because I am conscious of the fact that I have chosen to split from my team. I take good positioning, accomplish my goal of distracting or getting a pick, and then I leave before they have too much time to react and do something about me. I run back to my team for healing and to help on the frontline. then I do it again but (hopefully) going to a different spot so I'm not predictable. climbing is a lot faster when you use advantages that the other team is unlikely to try to take first. making them react to you and your plays and positioning is very impactful.
@sethescope I'm aware, but unless you're on a map like Circuit or Havana, someone will dive you and they will do so frequently. Even if you have the best positioning ever, someone will dive you. Even on those two maps you're getting a dive, just less often. This does not apply to only DPS. There are times where dying is fine. There are also times where you need to live at all costs. And in metal ranks, it's pretty common to have good positioning, be in a spot where you can get a peel, and it just never happens.
I play as healer and my tank complaint "why are you not healing". I answered, "i missed". 😅😅😅😅. I'm having a hard time playing as a Juno/Ana/any heroes that requires aim.
With ana just stay way back and zoom in, it isn't hard to hit your shots. If you're really struggling the only thing I can suggest is using supports like Moira/Life weaver/mercy/kiriko who don't need to aim to heal or practicing your aim in an arcade mode
Depending on what comp the enemy team is running, Brig is usually a good way to stop your team complaining about heals. She can put out absolutely stupid levels of healing, and the only aim necessary is with your whipshot. Anything is better than becoming a moira player.
Some of you falling for the clickbait title is so funny, never blamed anyone during the game and I stopped to type ‘payload’ coz no one was on it, also ranked up and fixed the positioning
i feel like they also wasted their venom mine sometimes. i like to put it by me if im not confident in my position so atleast if i get jumped (like when they were in a bad spot and got killed by mercy in valk) then theyll atleast get venom mined and it'll be a little easier to to kill them. it works a surprising amount of time, or you can atleast get them 1 and hopefully your team can follow up
Yeah I see a lot of Widow players who just kinda throw out their venom mine for the sake of it. In my opinion, there's 3 ways to use venom mine. Place it by yourself, like you said, as an anti-dive tool. Place it on a flank route, as an early warning. Or, the real big-brain play: place it on the corner you're planning to peek from, at head height. If you're going up against an enemy sniper, the venom mine can actually protect you from a headshot. I lost a widow duel once because they used their venom mine as cover, and I've never forgotten that strat since.
I must know, how do you pronounce emongg? I notice you seem to leave out almost every G at the end of a word. Do you pronounce it emon? Or is it seperate like emon | GG No hate of course. Im just curious
I remember being in gold in early OW1 and wondering how to get better, because my mechanical skills were better than gold. All I did to climb was stop blaming my team, and ask myself what I could have done better. I began to climb slowly at first as I made it a habit and corrected mistakes, and once it clicked I began rolling all the way to masters where I burned out on the comp grind because that was the goal I set for myself. A bit of self reflection, and thinking less about your team, is the key to climbing in ranked.
This has nothing to do with the video, but for some reason, my brain chose to really focus on Bit donations Emongg was getting. Can someone with more understanding of how Twitch works try to explain to me why someone would donate bits instead of straight up funds? From what I looked up online, it seems that with bits the streamer first needs a certain amount of followers but ALSO twitch will take a cut from it.. I don't see the benefit of choosing that instead.
there's probably a few reasons, but off the top of my head; - sometimes people will just be finishing off the Bits they already have, since even if they buy them while on one person's stream, they can be given on another person's stream, - the viewer may not have an account on Paypal/similar services, which I think is required for donations, while Bits can just be bought directly without the need for any other account (though other accounts are an option), - might be more convenient since Bits are through Twitch while donations are through other websites. the one time I bought Bits, it was because it was just more convenient to stay on the same page, could be bought directly, and would show my Twitch name. I am a little paranoid about internet safety, though, which is why I didn't note the last one as a possible reason.
This is my gameplay and people keep claiming I’m a Xim but I’m on a controller and since that vod I improved my mistakes and ranked up and it’s funny to read these because of the clickbait title so I see what you mean lol
This person's tank is terrible. You can tell because while enemy Ana was dead and Mercy was glocking the widow, enemy DVa kills friendly DVa which should be impossible.
Ah, makes me miss Widow on console. I found her easier to aim with on PS4 than on PC. And before y'all say anything, I turned aim assist off because I personally found it messed my aim up more than it helped. Also for those who don't know, that covered bridge Widow is on at 15:30? You can shoot through the little window slats. I can't tell you how many freebies I've gotten from those alone because no one expects it.
Just play quick play or mystery heroes. Give up on ranking up and caring what others think. Just play for fun. When it stops being fun take a break and play something else. Rinse repeat
Its kinda sus seeing some of the shots that this person hits on widow when watching them scope in on near enemies and watching their aim follow the enemies movements or even when the enemy is far away they do very slight movements even when they are jumping that widow follows even that.Which is very unpredictable and sus Example: 12:17
I like the overwatch mentality of "I see someone do something that I'll later call dumb, because I tried to follow a character with different mechanics than me and died". You dont blame Hog if widow decides it's widow 76 time and is out of position; but if a healer flies out of position it's obv the person who they went to; they made em' press that button
18:36 why did the kiri go zen with 94% charge on ult???? even if youre gonna swap, dump that shit in spawn, and help your team break the spawn camp. You just got full held by 5 ults, they don't have ANYTHING in the tank to deal with a kitsune. use that shit, break the spawncamp, THEN swap if you want to (zen is still a TERRIBLE swap lol) that choice was the single biggest mistake i've seen in the whole video so far.
10:33. Turn your sound on. I could hear that junk rat clomping to you for a solid 5 seconds. Game sense, and autism awareness is lacking. You haven’t seen or heard junkrat spam in a little while and then you could hear footsteps. You should have moved over to top of last point sooner as a “backing up” play, kill rat (cuz your aim is pretty solid) and the retake that high ground. If you did, it would force the Ana to take a more drastic angle opening herself up to more damage from the rest of your team if she is trying to shoot at you. 😊

I am hardstuck Plat DPS because my aim sucks and I know I am bad. Coping and telling myself it's my team's fault isn't going to help my progress.
this is such a weird take. PC players are way more toxic in my opinion because so many of them, like you, think console is somehow inherently worse and it's so wild. grow up and get over yourself. there's nothing different between a pc player and console player. it's just different platforms. this "PC master race" bullshit is so exhausting, and I've been playing ow on PC since 2018. and before you go all "console is so much worse," it's not. the reason why plat looks different on console vs PC is due to the impact of a smaller number of players on the standard distribution of a ranked system.
Console is not much worse than of other than mechanics. If anything players have to make up for those lack of mechanics with better positioning and awareness
@@sethescope Even emong himself has stated multiple times that a console player is several ranks below PC at similar skill levels. It has nothing to do with ego.
What made you type all that bro 🤣
The biggest ego boost on widow is when the enemy widow swaps to sombra and hard focuses you because you completely dominated them.

"how is it a tank diff when they are both playing dva?" a real person said that in the chat, wtf

My B.O.B gets pushed off by a rein XD

I can play McCree. Or pretend to. In Borderlands. Where the AI are terrible.
Against human players I have to go Junk and spam common paths of travel.
Best tip as an Ashe main for Ult is to Bob for obj time/stall and when the enemy has to pay attention to another person's Ult before dealing with Bob. Timing, pairings, and placement is key
I remember playing tank in casual and getting blamed for not being on the point when the rest of the team was DPS. No healers.
This is me and the title is clickbait because I never blamed my team and after he reacted I fixed my mistakes and raked up
@ oh hey, i wasn’t trying to be mean because i had the same problems before, i was just talking in general and i'm glad you fixed your mistakes because you’re not bad at all you just need to understand your positions, and as a support main i'll give you my opinion i think you just need a better positioning because if you have a bad position your supports will die along with you and sometimes they won’t heal you a lot because of that but if you fixed it then you’re all good. My bad if i sounded mean i wasn’t talking about you but in general because i do run into a lot of players who feed a lot with bad positions and blame others “not you tho”
I'm glad you ranked up tho because your aim is really good!
@@SUNSTIANAnah you’re good I understand, it’s just a title that’s misleading that makes people comment stuff and emongg doesn’t make these titles
This is not natural console aim, the crosshair movement is way too sus
@@CodyToombsas a xim user, it seems to be natural controller aim. He doesn’t really move the crosshairs, once he lines up the shot
Nawww. The way he looks left and right and moving is completely controller.
The aim is smooth because he has his sticks deadzone really low for quick reactions.
There isn’t flick. More positioning.
BUT that’s just opinion. But it’s pretty legit.
I agree, if I saw these killcams I’d report them immediately. It’s mouse movement.
16:37 you can peak through the slats of the castle on the wall facing toward second point area. I bet you could find some sneaky kills.
Every time I try to play high ground I instantly get dove by three people
When they have a crap ton of flankers you stick near the tank or healers, and/or pick a hero that counters that. The top 500 ranged DPS you can see them re-position every 2 or so shots when the enemy team has a bunch of flankers; they are always moving. Also there are trick spots everywhere on many maps where they can't get you outright; you have to learn them for your own preservation.

the one person in chat who said 'I wouldn't expect the Mercy to go for the Widow' is funny and is obviously not a Mercy player; so many of us make hunting Widows during our ults a hobby because if a Widow misses that first headshot and you can aim, it's over for them.
Its quite ironic how he almost lost the first point because no one was at the cart at the beginning.

This was insightful since I am considering learning Ashé. A shame most people I play with online want me to learn Junkrat.
...why Junkrat? What rank are these people? Like he's not the worst character but to request a junk is not something I've heard in a long while.
@izab3ru Diamond. I mostly play Mei. When we are losing, I get lots of requests to switch to Junkrat.
@@kecleonic Uh. Interesting request. I would much rather have a Mei. Might just be me ..?
@izab3ru from what I have heard, my dps are kinda lacking in the "quick! get up there!" department. I sometimes use wall to deny my opponents high ground advantage but some teammates would prefer a more permanent solution.
Screw everyone else, play and learn who you want and at your own pace
This is console? That aim Is kinda sus depending on what the rank is.
Edit: mid plat. Wouldn't be surprised if they're on xim
That's what I was thinking, the crosshair movement doesn't look like controller to me
You would be surprised how good console aim could be with tons of practice.
@ I agree, it’s exhausting to meet those people in games 😓
As orisa I make sure to lock down widow. I’m pretty decent at distance so every time I see her half her health disappears
need literally every dps to watch this video so desperately. i'm gonna start spamming the link in team chat.
Anything is better than becoming a moira player.

i feel like they also wasted their venom mine sometimes. i like to put it by me if im not confident in my position so atleast if i get jumped (like when they were in a bad spot and got killed by mercy in valk) then theyll atleast get venom mined and it'll be a little easier to to kill them. it works a surprising amount of time, or you can atleast get them 1 and hopefully your team can follow up
i always put it on flank routes. i only put it right by me when i can see someone about to dive on me.
@@mentarium9741 good idea too, i saw them putting a lot of mines just random places which is why i commented lol
I lost a widow duel once because they used their venom mine as cover, and I've never forgotten that strat since.
at least i'll never suffer from this, I know i'm shit and i'll never touch competitive

Do you pronounce it emon? Or is it seperate like emon | GG
No hate of course.
Lowkey I wish when you hit someone with the dynamite that it did do damage 😂
This has nothing to do with the video, but for some reason, my brain chose to really focus on Bit donations Emongg was getting. Can someone with more understanding of how Twitch works try to explain to me why someone would donate bits instead of straight up funds? From what I looked up online, it seems that with bits the streamer first needs a certain amount of followers but ALSO twitch will take a cut from it.. I don't see the benefit of choosing that instead.
there's probably a few reasons, but off the top of my head;
- sometimes people will just be finishing off the Bits they already have, since even if they buy them while on one person's stream, they can be given on another person's stream,
- the viewer may not have an account on Paypal/similar services, which I think is required for donations, while Bits can just be bought directly without the need for any other account (though other accounts are an option),
- might be more convenient since Bits are through Twitch while donations are through other websites.
the one time I bought Bits, it was because it was just more convenient to stay on the same page, could be bought directly, and would show my Twitch name. I am a little paranoid about internet safety, though, which is why I didn't note the last one as a possible reason.

and before you go all "console is so much worse," it's not. the reason why plat looks different on console vs PC is due to the impact of a smaller number of players on the standard distribution of a ranked system.
