I just tried this ride today at MOA, it's unbelievable. I was shocked by the details and accuracy it showed. Definitely A MUST!! I think if I ever visited all of these places, it wouldn't even be as amazing as this ride!
I rode this about the time this was uploaded and I was bored today and looked it up and well nothing beats it in person, this still gave me a tear of the good time it was even though it was just shy of 7 months ago. Thanks for the memories
Great question! You sit in bench type vehicle and are moved slightly out in front of the screen. It tilts you a little bit back and forth and left and right to match the scenery shown on the screen dome. Motion sickness was not a problem for me. Overall, I think it is a relaxing, mild experience.
@@msy7804yes it does You won’t like it you have motion sickness. I just rhode it yesterday and I was shocked how life like it is. It’s like being in Hang Glider or Helicopter
Does anyone have a kind of list of the places we fly over on this ride? (some are obvious like Niagra Falls, Mpls & San Francisco, but the others? not so much)
Yes! Very similar! The screen/video quality is a bit less clear compared to Soarin’. However, there is more movement and thrill to Fly Over America. It is also almost double the length of Soarin’! It is a super fun way to experience flying!
@@56strine In Fly Over America, you fly over Napa Valley, California, and San Francisco, California. Soarin’ Over California at Disney California Adventure theme park featured scenes like Lake Tahoe.
Wow that looked so incredible u know for a non Disney ride and that just being an attraction in some random mall that was amazing did it use the same ride technology as Soarin’ at the Disney Parks?! Controversial Opinion but I thought that looked and felt way better than Soarin’ Around the World that’s everything I wanted SATW to be and I can’t believe I’m saying that a ride in the mall is somehow better than a Disney ride but my 3 biggest issues with SATW are 1st I hate the way SATW transitions from scene to scene I hate that it tries so hard to have animals or other things screen wipe to the next scene but that was awesome how it smoothly transitions to scene after scene after scene my 2nd issue with the ride is that SATW uses so much CGI listen a little CGI here and there is fine but when a huge majority of the ride heavily relies on CGI that’s when it becomes to much like animals, people, other aircrafts, some places like Taj Mahal that was all CGI that was not a real live shot this version felt very balanced like it felt organic it didn’t feel like someone probably sat down in a garage for a ridiculous amount hours CGI enhancing everything but my 3rd issue which is probably the most controversial hot take is listen love the original Jerry Goldsmith score for Soarin’ Over California way more than Fly Over America but not a fan they recycled nearly an identical score for SATW just with each respective native country’s instruments I love what they were trying to do but since u knew that it was Jerry Goldsmith’s original work I just wished they used an original custom made soundtrack like this one with every country’s native instruments it probably would’ve hit way harder than now but with all of my nitpicks of SATW aside I still think it’s a good ride none the less but when u look at this I just feel like it opens up ur eyes on how Disney could’ve done so much better with SATW but thank u very much for posting this Camryn very cool to see some other places build more Soarin’ like rides like this and seeing different approaches on how they use this technology!!!
Thank you for watching! I believe some imagineers who worked on Soarin’ also helped design Fly Over America, but I am not certain. And I understand your point! I like to see other things that are like Soarin’ out there. I love Soarin’ much more, but Fly Over America was really cool to see! The gliders had a much wider range of movement!
@@DisneyParksMusic. yes! There were several scents and wind added. Also the gliders rocked both side to side and back and forth for more thrill! There was also some mist during the waterfall scenes!

Thank you so much for watching! I am really glad you enjoyed!
The video is great but it’s even better in person. For me it was by far the best experience ever..
Thanks for watching! It’s a great attraction.
The ending made my heart melt ❤
The ending for that is insane!
It is!
Cool! It's like a mix between Soarin' and American Journeys.
I was ride Flyover Canada at Vancouver. Awaken Canada is newest ride including Virginia Falls, Moraine Lake, Mount Lougheed and more!

Does the ride move? Motion sickness?

I have shortness of breath, especially on rides that have a drop. Does this ride move much or drop?

My first time taking my kid fly over America I live in MN 32 years
Would this ride be good for a 4 year old? Wondering if it’s too scary?
@amandamarie8430 my daughter kinda scared because she alway scared if way to young make sure you put hand on her so she not fall
Does anyone have a kind of list of the places we fly over on this ride? (some are obvious like Niagra Falls, Mpls & San Francisco, but the others? not so much)
Great question! I know at the exit of the ride there is a map of all the locations you fly over.
3:05 is that uptown?
So this is like soarin from Disneys Epcot right?

Fly Hawaii Showing in FlyOver America
Yes! Sometimes!
Does it actually last around 9mins?
Yes! The whole ride lasts about 9 and a half minutes!
Ok
the end is space 🚀🌎🌍🌏🛰️👨🚀🌕🌠
Will you actually see the Lake in Lake Tahoe?
Guests do not glide over Lake Tahoe in this experience.

How high up?
I’m not sure. Not too high up! Once you’re in flight, you don’t really look down.
