What is most astonishing is the Christians’ rejection of the marriage of the Messenger - may God bless him and grant him peace - when she was nine years old and he was over fifty, while they see no harm in the Virgin Mary being engaged to Joseph the carpenter when she was twelve years old and he was over ninety, meaning that the age difference between them was more than seventy-eight years, as mentioned by the Catholic Encyclopedia. There is not a single phrase in their “holy” book that prohibits the marriage of girls at the age of nine, or even a single sentence specifying the age of marriage. Didn’t Ahaz get married when he was ten years old and have children when he was eleven years old? It is stated in 2 Kings 2:16: “Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. And it is stated in 2 Kings 2:18: “In the third year of Hoshea the son of Elah king of Israel, Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah began to reign. He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem twenty-nine years.” Ahaz was 36 years old. If his son became king when he was about 25 years old, his father would have been blessed with him when he was about 11 years old. Their priest, Munis Abdul Nour, mentioned in his book Doubts about the Bible: “There is no objection to there being 11 years between him and his father,” and he began to give historical examples of that. It is well known that the age of maturity of females is less than the age of maturity of males living in the same region, so this means that his wife might have been nine or ten years old like him, and she was even fit to give birth at that age. So why do you deny marriage to Aisha at such an age, and your book does not deny it? How do they deny marriage to the beloved Mustafa at a time when they believe that the prophets committed the abominations and obscenities of incest? Such as their claim that Lot - peace be upon him - committed adultery with his two daughters, and that David committed adultery with the wife of a soldier in his army. Rather, he ordered the army commander to uncover him during war so that the enemies could kill him. They do not find it shameful to describe Solomon - peace be upon him - as an infidel and that he worshipped idols in order to please his pagan wives.@@2011arish

In political terms, yes. Everyone calls that the middle east. However in geographical sense, as in Continental divide, it is Asia which the original comment was probably referring to.
So i could see calling it Asian Continent. I understand the geography. But if you say Asia alone in the USA, unless you are talking to a recent immigrant, will be understood as china, japan, koreas, vietnam, indonesia, taiwan, phillipines, laos, cambodia, etc. Not india, not Yemen, not azerbijan, not eastern turkey certainly.
People need to remember Mecca was a pagan site of pilgrimage PRIOR to Islam. They worshipped idols most of which were destroyed when it became a site for Islamic worship,BUT they kept one idol the black stone .
Not true. The Arabs desecrated the kaaba by putting up idols in and around it. The kaaba itself predates the idol worship. Now, the Kaaba is the direction of prayer and can be compared to the Western Wall/Wailing wall in Jerusalem for the Jews. They pray in that direction, they touch the wall, but they do not worship the wall. Somehow i see nobody accuse Jews of polytheism.

That's crazy! I did not know it was that tall! I've seen pictures of it before but did not truly understand the height of it. Wild bit of engineering for sure
Yeah from the photos I saw there was no way to get any idea of its real size. Maybe it’s because there are no other large buildings near it to compare it with.

I stayed at the fairmont hotel which is located within one of the towers. Even up close you cannot grasp the true magnitude of the development. Only when your driving up to makkah and still miles away you see the towers in the distance on then do you actually get an understanding of the size of that thing.
Truly amazing!
The clock messes up the scale, we aren't used to see clocks that big, the brain has no frame of reference so it scale downs the entire tower.
Yep, I saw it in person. It’s big, but didn’t feel tall at all

The UAE is also in Asia
While I can't speak for our communist hockey loving friends to the north, i can assure you Americans call the location of the UAE the Middle East, not Asia.
In political terms, yes. Everyone calls that the middle east. However in geographical sense, as in Continental divide, it is Asia which the original comment was probably referring to.
and "asia" means only east asia (chinas, koreas, japan, mongolia).
so does half of Turkey……..
Which is so confusing that they still worship the black stone with the same circling ritual …
black stone is not worshipped, its a stone from paradise. and people love paradise thus they love the stone.
Who told you that muslims worship the blk stone ?
Even the idol of Jesus there was the Black Stone not an idol and the Muslims broke it several times
Long live Saudi Arabia 💚
