“Strap in and prepare for lift off! Thrill as you’re raised high into the air in front of an 80-foot projection dome for a virtual tour around the world. Incredible IMAX digital projection and spectacular aerial footage simulate the graceful motion of flight.”
Soarin' is an elevated simulated hang-glider flight around the world. This attraction at Epcot lifts guests up into the air and uses gentle motion, scents, and wind effects to create the sensation of flight as they take in an aerial view of world landmarks shown on a 180-degree, 80-foot IMAX digital projection dome.

People probably don't realize this, but this is more accurate than you think. In the Epcot version of Soarin' around the world, you can see through the fabric and behind you, giving the ability to see the servo move back and forth during the ride. You can see the supports too while in the station on the ground. This is more accurate than anybody could describe ever!
I went on that before whenever I was going back in the dark I was scared to death
The best version of Soarin’ IMO, this version just needs to stay in DCA forever and bring back Soarin’ Around the World for the Food & Wine Festival that would be so much better! Thank you for this!

The fact that someone can get “offended” by this is just ridiculous and unbelievable. The music is literally emotionally connecting and cute critters/animals everywhere. How sad that Disney believes people are actually “offended”. Even the NAACP liked this ride when Baxter was developing it, and that is believable because they focused on critters.
