Sounds of Deaf Koel - You Can Only Observe

This track was actually created with a purpose in mind. I recently decided to start a podcast, and I needed some music to use for it. In the podcast, I talk about science and philosophy, beginning with the abstract and complex idea of free will and why we don't have it.
I wanted to create music that would be accessible (the whole track is based on three chords) but also convey a sense of complexity, reflecting the ideas I discuss. Therefore, I added some experimental electronics, choirs and other effects to hopefully make the track more interesting.
The idea behind this piece is that the base chords are very simple, allowing me to easily layer different musical ideas on top of them depending on the mood I want to convey. For example, this is a more ambient version, but I also have a more rhythmic and percussive one (which I will probably upload as well). However, this one resonated with me the most, so I decided to publish it first.
