  • A small furry mammal's roots that trace back to one of the largest animals to roam the continent are revealed. The Rock Hyrax goes by many names including the Rock Rabbit and Dassie. It tends to enjoy life of the edge, living in mountainous crevices. The animal also seems to have exceptional vocalization skills joining an eclectic group of communicators who rank as some of the largest in world. CCTV Travers Andrews reports

    A Canadian visitor was saying that they looked like beavers. Another Canadian said that's beavers without tails.

    • @GoodVideos4
      @GoodVideos4 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, they do! Maybe at first glance, and seen from a distance. And, at least to those Canadians they did.
      And, a case of beavers, dassies, and groundhogs looking similar, or somewhat similar.

    • @GoodVideos4
      @GoodVideos4 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Incidentally, beavers are groundhogs are rodents. Dassies are not, and are related to the elephant, believe it or not.
