Could you imagine, as a human, giving birth to triplets, and within 2 hours, they are literally bouncing off the walls 😱😂
What cute little bundles if mayhem!
Not too far off, babies only take a few months to start escaping cribs and getting into everything imaginable. Babies and kids are smarter than we give them credit for.
To think that there closest living relatives are elephants is astounding
Was just thinking of that 😂
From just looking at them, you may think that they are a rodent. But when you look at them closely, you notice they look a bit weird to be rodents. Hyraxes are unique enough that they belong to their own order called Hyracoidea.

What? The resemblance is uncanny. Hyraxes, elephants and manateees. Three totally normal looking animals that are obvisouly elated because of much they look alike.
The relation is obvious when you look up early elephant species like moeritherium. Compare the skulls of the hyrax and moeritherium very similar.
The hyrax's incisors are actually primitive elephant tusks and hyrax's also have hooves that resemble those of the elephants.
Hyrax sounds like it would be a large dragon-like creature. Instead they are these little goobers.😂
The glaring ''get off my property'' species, lol.
They are absolutely adorable! Those faces. Those babies.....❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I have never heard of this animal but omg those babies are beyond adorable!!!!! I just want to hold them!!

Hyrax W
Scientists be like: ELEPHANT!
Hyrax faces look very similar to faces of Quokkas. Very different teeth, but cuties nonetheless.
Do we have any updates on them? They are so cute
So, wonder if they hand them off to other Zoos. I imagine they'd be overrun with Hyraxes in no time at all.
Good thing their gestation is around 8 months!
Hi Dave (louder than everyone else)
Would love to be able to watch this on Channel4, but the first season has gone missing.
Cute dave 😊
See alot of them in cape region of South Africa. Commonly known here as the rock dassie
I wonder if hyrax also share kin with guinea pigs too?
Not mentioned in the video is that rock hyraxes are the closest living relatives of elephants and manatees. It is not certain which of those three species is more closely related to the others.
two words to say what zoo it is in the description would be cool.
So they’re born n start running around already? Biiissshhh
Enjoy the Hyraxes way of life!

Oh boy! My attention immediately went to Kirsten. I love animals, and rock hyraxes are cute as can be. But Kirsten rocks my world! Yep, just had to leave this comment.
Isn't too stressful for a mother hyrax's body to be continuously pregnant?
What is the animal at 5:52?
I think they may be mongoose
@Nature Bites , I am physically disabled and spend probably 22 hours a day on average laying on my bed. This seems like the perfect pet for someone like me. My hopes are it would snuggle up and sleep on me or against me and enjoy petting, scratches, and being fed. Do you think this would make a good companion pet for someone as available and stationary as me?
How soon will you know their gender?
Now feeding until camera arrives why ?
The Elephant's cousin
Does anyone know if the narrator is OLIVIA COLEMAN?

Loser*. I don’t get why people never type the whole phrase. It’s lazy.
WOW, Baby blowouts are super messy and stinky! Thanks Pampers 💩👶🍼
By the way, Spain is accidentally named after them….
Huh???
Tf you mean their lazy. They live in a zoo. They don't have to do what they would in the wild.
seeing hazda tribe eat them just heartbreaking
nah they're probably quite delicious roasted with salt and spices...and you cant even spell the tribe's name right 😂
