I really appreciate the candor in the beginning and like where you're coming from. Been viewing your vids before but subscribed based on what you said here. Alot of ppl just write off kz/cca based on the past and don't bother to honestly look at their newer stuff and admit that the company is overall doing better. That being said I'm disappointed by your opinion on the pr3, got mine coming in probably next week and I'm cringing..but to your point, I have to listen for myself. I don't mind if it's a "loss" for me given I paid the presale price. We'll see. I've sait before and I'll say it again: Hopefully one day we'll see an official tuned collab IEM from them and you. I think that would be dope. Keep up the excellent work

I'm from Brazil and due to the new tax law that basically doubles the price of any purchase over $50 USD. The tax is already charged at the time of purchase. So if the IEM cost $200, here I will pay $380 - $400 dollars. So it was good to hear that the CCA Rhapsody is as good as the EM6L.
I wouldn't say it is as good but it gets a good way there for 1/2 price

I hope you love the F2 as well and hopefully no fit issues that's the only thing that makes that set sound bad for some when they can't get it to fit and seal properly because of the nozzle angle. If you can them you are in for a treat.
@@tonedeafmonk 2h listening already. love it! no fit issues at all, on the contrary: they fit like a glve in my ear. Just a hotspot in the right ear, but moving it a little it was perfectly solved.

Thanks for your great review, TDM! I paid $42 USD for this. Order is now in-country and should arrive soon. I am still hoping you may review the Kinera Celest Phoenixcall (the blue transparent version looks fine). It was the best IEM surprise in terms of price and performance I have yet to find under $135 USD. It is a lot of fun! Perhaps you may be able to borrow a unit locally, TDM? More audio fans should discover it!

i enjoy your reviews because you review iems that make sense (good selection). knowing you don't make money from your channel is an important information,all youtube channels should always give this information. here are 2 ideas to improve your videos : 1/ make your video shorter or start with a tldr summary in the beginning 2/ do more comparisons or keep up to date a top 9 list (top 3 in 3 different price categories like $50,$150,$350 or $20,$100,$200) so we can understand where a new iem is positionned relative to others iem (important because saying that an iem is "warm" is only meaningfull if you position it relatively to other warm iems). keep up the good work

Looks like a nice set, i was impressed by the HM20s i loved the bass it is deep and very responsive for an 8mm driver. Got them last 11.11 for a really good price about 42usd. Sadly I messed up and in a careless switching blew them. Now they are tiny maracas. And me in need of another set. Do you have a list of songs that you use everytime to test a new set, or do you test each with different music? And do you have playlists you can share with us? E20 sounds better because of the better driver quality . R1 was where I would go over the E20 unless you prefer a more scooped out mid bass to bring up the vocals.

How does this iem compare to much more expensive iems such as the shuoer ej07m, xenns mangird tea 2 and also cheaper iems with single dynamic drivers such as the kinera celest wyvern pro's?
Mr Monk just a question, I'm currently using the KZ Castor Bass in the 1100 setup, been saving up for the Rhapsody since I really like the tuning of the Castor, just like the thought of it being more refined and relaxed in the highs enough to tempt me to get the Rhapsody, since they're so similar in terms of price point, how would the Rhapsody (38 usd) compare with the Juzear Clear (42 usd)? Thank you in advance ^^
The Clear is alot more V shaped , if you liked the bass of Castor and wanted more Treble the clear would be a good choice. The Rhapsody was nice but I would have concerns about longer term relalibility. For a better tuned IEM and something more natural I would buy the Ziigaat NUO

Absolutely not EW200 is a beast! No KZ has come close to the quality of tunings Simgot does.

EPZ Q5 for the easy win , better coherency and you can hear the better quality driver at play.

My first choice over the two would be the Conch but there are lots of rumors with quality control? Save bet with great tuning is the ARTTI R2 as long as your not a big basshead

Side grade save your money unless you want a hybrid iem, but I would wait a bit.

Also picked up a EA500 (single DD) on your and other's rec, and to round out the stable PR2 v1 (Planar), TRN ST5 (Hybrid), also a handful of budget buys Rosefinch (DD), Canpur 1&1 (hybrid) and Tanya DSP (bullet). Think I'm set until mega market disruptor.

Between this vs. artii r1 vs. Ziigaats, which is the better buy with the most correct timbre, resolution and balanced stage (but fun also)? I want to replace my Truthear Hexa which i love.
Tough call The R1 is not as Balanced as NUO with having more bass but tastefully done.

I don't know if KZ is getting better, or since they do tons of sets, they randomly get a few right every year. I think the Castor black was a huge win this year, the Polaris and Rhapsody both seem good. The PR2 thing was sad, they nailed it on the first pass, then screwed up the tuning on the later production rounds. I agree with you about the EM6L getting shouty on some songs. I wasn't a fan of the Chopin either, which was odd, I like Timmy and enjoy the Galileo ( which is a slightly better Hexa ).

biggest problem is qc issues with kz .pr2 made shit out of my money.so I will pass on kz even if they able to make a cheap tuned dark magician.absolutely fuck no to kz,don't waste money.
