HeadFier "Alexandros A" here man and from your description this one could have the potential to sound a lot similar to Rose QT-X hybrid monitors which is mainly focused to the sub bass region obtaining a DD Tesla driver covering the low region...(working full/BIG time between 20 to 60Hz) there providing a tactile or even thunderous sub bass response and a leaner mid bass presentation....i like this kind of tuning my self and hopefully Deuce will arrive here next week.... i do own some pretty heavy bass orientated signature/monitors (ISN EST50s,LEGEND X,Oriolus Szalayis...)and i like this kind of different tuning approach FatFreq went for this time.........only problem is that i as well did pre ordered this one directly from FatFreq mid July...... so i do not recommend anyone to do like i did ....as you can tell....but anyway i hope my listening experience wont be the same ...you know what i mean....nice review anyways......

Ducblokes EQ transforms these. Further refines the tuning and I feel the staging is improved and fixed. Much prefer it over the Maestro and Scarlet mini with this EQ.

@@ElNINETEENTH I really like how the NOAH modules work with the GMA and the SuperStage module really was great with what black magic it did with the sound stage. I got hear the improvement it does with the FatFreq Planar and I think it's way more of a sound change vs the Atom XS modules. GMA is a bit more immersive sounding. I would say it's more in the RN6 world with great all rounder sound with really good tactile bass. With the newer shell too it fit way comfortably in my ear like the RN6 did. I don't know if you'd want both in your collection but I do think the GMA edges it out a bit. But, at the end of the day, I think the primary difference going to the GMA from RN6 probably is more on the sound stage and slightly better bass quality.
@ Do you think it’s not worth having RN6 and GMA? In my case I had to go the GMA as they sent me a defected scarlet mini twice then they told me I can upgrade to another iem with 15% discount. I thought I can try the GMA and if I don’t like it or can’t justify keep it I can sell it. GMA also will be easy to flip than the scarlet mini because it retails for 4K and I get 3.3k if I sell it after maybe trying it for two weeks.

I would probably say keep the XE6 for the warmth and the RN6 would go head to head with the GMA. It would be a close but they do similar things being more of that all rounder sound with great bass
Crazy ask, but would it be possible to buy the left ear one with a chip in it?. I haven't really gotten into iems, but i would be using them on my commute to class and would likely just have 1 in anyways, so i can hear the environment around me... 😂😅

Legato will have lower elevation on the mids/treble which should make the bass stick out more and make them feel bassier. But if you want the next step up with better sub-bass and a bit more of a cleaner shelf so you get mids/treble extension back, I think the Deuce is a good step up. Going from basshead (Legato) to basshead's all rounder. If you get the impedance adapter, it's even better and I think you'll love that even more than the Legato while still getting good extension. 🙂 I do say this as someone who -loved- the Legato before stepping up to the Maestro Mini

@@XEROXTAKEBACKS ooh, now this is a good question. What's your typical sound preference and what do you listen to? What other IEMs do you have? Are you treble sensitive? At the core, Deuce is like that bassy all-rounder that turns into a Scarlet Mini Jr. With the impedance adapter. The Maestro Mini will be like a standard V-shape with some elevated mids/treble to balance and give you those notes so you'll get deep basshead level bass but not be missing much on vocals. they do have BAs as well so if you're sensitive to that, you'd probably want to go to Deuce. Maestro Mini also fits way better than the Deuce with the Deuce nozzle being really massive (6.9mm) while Maestro Mini is much smaller (don't have measurement exactly in front of me). Gun to my head, Deuce is the best entry point to FatFreq. Maestro Mini is probably a bit more special but Deuce is good if you want that introduction. Deuce will probably be the safer pick. Maestro Mini could be way more satisfying, though. I don't think there's anything wrong with a second hand Maestro Mini pick up as well and, if you don't like it, it could be something you re-sell.
Save your money. I got the Deuce and my CCA Trio that cost $19 (on sale) sound better. I must admit the blood cable is the best cable I have its so light and it never tangles + pretty. To be honest the CCA trio also sounds better then all my other IEMs. I have about 25 IEMs. I have the CC Rapsody ($30) and CCA Hydro ($100) but for some reason to my ears the Trio is better, the bass sound better on trio, and its also very good for watching movies on it. a secened close will be the KZ ZS12 PRO X but the trio is better (and cheaper).
@@David-sv2mr - So, I don't have the Trio but I do have the KZ Vader Balanced which is similar. I'm not saying it's bad (quite the contrary as I think it's a great budget IEM) but I, respectfully, disagree at least for my ears. But I do think those are worth taking a flyer on if anyone is interested.
@@MakeItWain The trio is special, I don't know what they did there but the sound cumming from them are the most natural + full. maybe cause it has 3DD ? I'm sure iems that cost $400+ can beat it but some people don't have lots of money to invest in this Russian roulette money pit called Audiophile sound. I already took 2 hits on $200 IEMS (and I missed) 1 is the Deuce and another is the Geek Wold GK100.
@@MakeItWain Not that the Douce is bad.... its good. but if a $19 iem that I have beats it, it basically $200 down the drain. BTW a problem with the Douce is that you cant change the cable (couse reports of shell cracking if you try) and you can't tiproll ether. The size of the nozzle is 7.2 mm and not all tips can fit it and the ones that does it takes me 10 minutes to put them on, its that hard...
@@David-sv2mr yes, I actually address the shell cracking in my video due to the recessed 2-pin. I talk about it in the unboxing section so to speak. Also talk about it in my CX section. I also measured the nozzle lip at 6.9mm with the section that takes tips and goes in.
Aoshida E20 seems to be a contender too. The Deuce have the aesthetics going for them, unfortunately, as always you overpay for brand + collab. And QC and build quality in general seems all over the place. I'll grab a pair if they ever go on sale 6 months down the line (the time period is just so they can "catch up" and fix all that nonsense, hopefully). For now, it is a pass.
I like it, it is relaxing. Just a little too loud. Longer videos can get a little dry without background beats, go watch Akros video for example. But yeah, half volume would be better as right now it overshadows his voice.

I got the 7hz legato rn and the sub bass is amazing how does it compare to legato is it worth it to buy the deuce ?

People have commented that his has happened before with other releases that's why this time around they are not so nice about what they are saying.
