Iowa: Council Bluffs is a scenic city near the Loess Hills

From the historic downtown to the riverside to Lake Manawa and other parks, Council Bluffs has a lot more to see than the casinos that attract the most visitors.

In southwest Iowa, we fondly refer to this city as "Council-tucky" because although it's a small city, it still retains a rural atmosphere

Isn't there a train area/ museum in CB? Why not highlight it? And the Dodge House. I visited it a long time ago.

Yes, we saw the train museum from the outside as it was late in the day and also the Dodge House just east of downtown right next to the Loess Hills. Both of these places are well-known and worth visiting. However, with the time we had, we chose to highlight outdoor areas.
