    ive been going through a lot of reviews and you're basically one of the very few that mentions about the actuation force. really helps me decide on which weight i should go for. i know you can just spring swap them later, but this is much easier. so thank you for the great and informative video!

    Top 3 switches I’m hype for:
    1. Aqua Everglades
    2: Boba u4t
    3: Boba u4t with gazzew linear thoccy stems

    I bought the 67g versions of these for my Keychron Q5, and even before I modded the board further these switches are amazing. A super nice creamy sound with RGB that looks even more brilliant thanks to the fully transparent housing.

      Did you ever have any problems with accidental presses during gaming? I'm looking into these coming from gateron yellows, and i'm just worried about the actuations

    • @Avatar_Yoshi
      @Avatar_Yoshi 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@eluhde2214 I specifically got the highest actuation force version of these (67g) because I was having accidental presses on a lighter switch before these. The high actuation force makes it so my fingers can rest on top of my keys and they won't accidentally click a key. Had these things for 2 years now and I almost never have that issue.

    Is it possible for the Aqua kings to sound deeper when lubed again even after its factory lubrication?

    The actuation force for Gateron Yellow is 55g (65g bottom out), Aqua King 62g is the actual actuation force, why would they feel lighter than the yellows?

    • @Romsicle
      @Romsicle  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because you need to read the actuation graph to see that 62g is talking about the bottom out.

    • @zero604
      @zero604 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Romsicle I see, seems like every store is advertising the 62g as the actuation force, not the bottom out, so it's kinda confusing.

    • @Romsicle
      @Romsicle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@zero604 Yup. They don't care enough to look at the specs. They get a product and they just take the specs and sell. It's the same thing with Keychron switches.

    • @muckeyn
      @muckeyn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Romsicle Thanks for pointing this out. I haven't seen anyone correct this. Bought a set of 62g and they definitely feel like ~45g actuation. Nobody seems to be reading the graphs. I've been frequently triggering a couple keys with resting fingers being used to 50g+.

    Hmm on all the stores I visit, it says that 55g, 62g, and 67g are the actuation forces, are you sure those (38g, 43g, 55g) are the correct actuations? Want to make sure I don't buy one that's too light. If that's the case, the 67g bottom out force would have an actuation of 55g?

    • @Romsicle
      @Romsicle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yup I saw that too - pretty sure it's just a translation error that nobody fixed considering if you look at the operating points on the actuation graphs, you can see that the listed numbers are bottom out forces.
