Those words ring over in my head when I am pushing the limits of my practical experience. You did right putting that chain in. I'm again impressed by the difficulty of felling your trees, those limbs are wildcards they throw the butt around all over the place
Great job by the A-Team, Ben and Mrs Ben! Walnut makes pretty descent firewood, burn it up! Breaks my heart to see that beautiful old house going to shambles...
@@survivingcountrylife7069 That’s great! Every time I get back home to Minnesota I see lots of old “grand” farm houses falling down or bulldozed into holes and planted over.. It’s pretty sad.
Good job Ben. I would be nervous as a long talked cat in a rocking chair factory as well. Have a great day to you and your awesome wife and daughter. 😊
Even after many years of dropping tree's, I run into a few that make me nervous. Don't ever get to where your confidence outshines your doubts. Every tree is a challenge in it's own way and capable of both bodily and property damage. Be careful!!!!
Good job Ben. Looks like that mansion needs a lot of TLC, seems in pretty rough shape. What will happen to the wood? Can you salvage for boards or is it going to end up as firewood.?
Good job Ben, no one was hurt and the house wasn't hit..If you put in the title #BuckinExperience You will get buckins attention heck you never know he may even reply too..
@@survivingcountrylife7069 it’s worth purchasing or building a chainsaw mill. Izzy Swan has some simple but great plans for an incredible build. Slab that tree and they’ll sell. You’re close enough to Omaha, CB, SF, DesMoines to put on CL. Just my $00.02 worth.
That thing was huge. Buckin would be proud
He sure would..
He's the best

Thanks Eric. There's new owners for the house that are excited about fixing on it. So it will be interesting to see how it goes in the years to come

Walnut!! Love that stuff! Smells awesome. Best campfire to mix it with cherry. Beautiful smelling campfire.👍🏻👍🏻
It should be good stuff
Great job. It’s on the ground with no damage, that’s a win in my book. Walnut is great firewood and splits easy too.

Good job! Much better to be careful than sorry in the end. I have burned a lot of walnut firewood, good stuff.
I've got some big chunks of it for sure now

Very good advise I think. It's when we think I got this that stuff goes wrong
That was an awesome video I thought you did a good job
Ben. You will sleep good after getting that tree down👍
Haha. For sure
Good job Ben. Looks like that mansion needs a lot of TLC, seems in pretty rough shape. What will happen to the wood? Can you salvage for boards or is it going to end up as firewood.?
It will end up as firewood to be honest. But I'll gladly sell the logs to anyone who wants em for just firewood price
Mate to Ezyyyyyyyy for you😆.💪 👌👌👌👌👌👍👍💓
Thanks leonard
@@survivingcountrylife7069 😆👌👌👌👍👍👍👍
I'll bet if you listed the saw logs for sale you would know several people with saw mills real soon.
Probably not a bad idea. I knew a guy years ago. He died now. But he took his walnut logs to omaha and sold em
Don’t cut it for firewood as it’s worth $1000’s for Walnut gun stocks or for furniture especially the long straight pieces 👍
Good job Ben, no one was hurt and the house wasn't hit..If you put in the title #BuckinExperience
You will get buckins attention heck you never know he may even reply too..
Was that the most nervous you have been cutting a tree down?
Yes probably in terms of doing property damage
Please tell me you did not cut that into firewood. That would make a sawmill owner like myself, very happy.
I cut most of it into chunks that I could get in the trailer. What's stuff like this that's a town tree worth do ya think ? Thanks for any info
Alot

@@survivingcountrylife7069 well worth it friend. $1.00 per board foot at least.
Good job. Check out Buckin Billy Rays channel. He has some awesome content on using wedges.
He is the master. I love watching his stuff
Your wife did good job filming
Thanks man
Try putting it on craigslist or Facebook, someone would like to have that I'm sure. Take care
Definitely doesn’t look like veneer BIG $$$ walnut, but a tree job is tree job
How do you tell. Do you have people around you that pay for walnut logs ? Any info is appreciated. Thnx
