Today I make a plea for help for a friend and then split some really nice ash firewood rounds into firewood. I hope your all having a good day and thanks for watching.

I have looked at Joe's videos. It seems to me that he's trying but not running his business in the right ways. I love to that you're giving him a shout out and bringing him some publicity. We can all use same help every now and again. He does need toget himself into a good truck if he's going to continue to be a firewood delivery service more than a firewood cutter and processer, that is where he's trying to be. The first thing you need if your a delivery service is a delivery vehicle! So, he needs to step up make a decission to get a solid relialble truck and start doing. The rest of us have to do it so just make it happen.
Yeah he needs to hustle he should be able to buy his own truck even a beater truck for 2500
Unless you’re planning on buying the truck and delivering it to him, any money sent to him will be spent at the casino or lottery store. He’s already had $3000 donated to him towards the purchase of a truck. That money is gone now.
Well. That's a heck of a bad deal. But I'm gona keep on doing all in my power for him. It's terrible hard to deliver firewood in a mini van

I enjoy your channel. You get out and do the work, and we all know cutting wood is hard work. JOE sells firewood we all know, it's apparent, or should be to everyone that the man doesn't want to work. When he pays someone to bring him wood so he only needs to split it, and deliver it, His business model could use some tweaking to say the least. BTW, I am in Michigan, and the governor doesn't choke the life out of the common man.. Joe does need a truck, but instead of doing work to get a decent truck.....he wants a hand out. He bashes everyone, who gives him constructive criticism, and if he doesn't agree with you, you're a moron. I think it's wonderful you're trying to help him, but until he changes, he will always be in this spot.
I also live in Michigan and I'm not having any problems getting FREE WOOD or selling the wood I'm cutting
I agree with you 100 percent Mike. To many people just like to blame the government for their downfalls.
If it wasn't for Joe's mom he would be living in the homeless encampment too.
I have tried to give him constructive criticism but he doesn't listen.
He is a big boy, he has to be able to figure stuff out on his own. And buying that piece of shit truck that he is looking at is going to put him right back to where he was. But you can't tell him nothing he won't listen to anyone. That being said I do injoy his channel, just hope he can get it together. Take care

Ben your a good hard working guy / joe on the other hand needs to start over with a plan and start doing some work for himself maybe start by getting a regular job during the week and slowly work his way into firewood he’s buying wood from other vendors then sells it to his people there is no possible way you can make money Robbing Peter to pay Paul it will never get you ahead/ for god’s sake people don’t give this guy anything until he gets his shit together 50 something years old and lives with mommy 🤔
I am sorry but Joe got what was coming to him he knew the truck was a danger yet he kept using it he could have and should have changed it 3 yrs ago

For the last 5 years it was evident the end was near for that truck. That is when he should’ve been saving money for a truck, but instead he talked often about buying lottery tickets and casino gambling.
I enjoy watching your channel Ben you always have good content and are genuine about what your doing BUT when it comes to JPF I've watched his channel and every time he's got someone else cutting his wood for him and he's taking all the credit...THAT'S WRONG, not to mention if someone is so forward to folks about sending him money to buy a truck but yet he's always showing what he's winning or losing on lottery tickets or at the Casino....I work by myself for every bit of wood I cut,split and sell just trying to get ahead,.....IM DONE with him and his side show
I've been watching Joe for over a year or more. I have never heard him mention the casino's. Or brag about what he has won or list. Before his truck broke down, he did his own deliveries. He paid for wood brought to him and sold it as well. He has cut down trees and split his own chopped wood, also.

As for JPF goes he is the kind of guy that will ask you a question just to waist your time and argue with you all day on why they are correct.. I have over the last year emailed JPF on where to get trucks with out looking for show room new..
When I did that he red truck was still running but he didn't want to hear it then and he doesn't want to hear it now that he needs one.
Now some will say greed or pride got in his way (maybe both depending on how you look at it) but the truck was paid for so I can't complain there, but how do you help a guy that won't take any advice.
I wont keep going as I don't want to come off as the guy thats negative.

I am a big fan of the saying "Give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach him to fish and he eats for a lifetime." It sounds like your friend has some bad habits and needs to learn some good ones.

I spoke with easton made- gonna order my 12-22, but did have a question. I'm ordering a boxwedge, but also like the 4 way tall wedge as well. I have a LOT of narly notty wood that im sure wont go thru the boxwedge- so hence, may not go thru the 4 way either. My question is this, can the tall 4 way you have, can it be lowered low enough so I can use it as a sinlge slice blade for really notty pieces? I dont really see me using the 4 way much since im getting the boxwedge. I do however, need to be able to split this notty crap that I have. I guess I cold order boxwedge and a single slice blade. However, at the 5:04 mark in your vidoe, it loos as if you actuall do have the 4 way lowered low enough to where it can be used a a single blade. I need to sort all this out next week as I place my order for the 12-22

Very well said about our governor here in Michigan. She is a tyrant power hungry dictator to be polite about describing this piece of work governor we in Michigan have. Living here in Michigan is not for the faint of heart and truly is test of faith to say the least. I am trying to be polite as possible and not raise my blood pressure. Ben i think the problem with Joe is he can't save any money the only money he has is the donations in his Paypal account and he won't dare spend that on anything but the truck but that might change if he gets desperate

I love your videos. I watch Joe's videos to see what train wreck he is into this week. I'm 57 years old and disabled. I cant lift anything over 5 pounds. I cant walk more than 20 yards with out sitting down. Cant start a gas chain saw. I have unlimited wood from my buddies tree service. I went out and bought a yardmax 25 ton log splitter. A 80.00 pickaroon and a 450.00 Atlas cordless chainsaw so I can cut. My boys 18 and 20 use the gas saws. All my wood is donated to disabled vets or the needy in my area. I have not asked for 1 thing. He did not even buy the Easton old splitter from what I gather from his videos. He has no other bills from the way he talks. No mortgage no health insurance payments no taxes. And i do not have a truck. And Im not begging for things. I would like to beg for subscribers on my channel.

And Im also in Michigan. And as bad as our governor is there is still a high demand for all types of wood. Heating. Campfire and such.

It is legal to sell firewood in Michigan but MDARD does not recommended that it be moved long distances. To protect against the further spread of EAB, as well as other forest pests such as oak wilt and beech bark disease, firewood that is certified as heat treated should be used.

Nice Vid, Ben! I wouldn't say this to Joe because he would get mad. I know he talks about about not being able to get a loan, bad credit, lack of income, whatever. But if he sold all his inventory and walked into a dealer with a few grand, couldn't he get a loan on a new or newer rig? The rates are low and they are really pushing vehicles. Sure, he would have a payment but he wouldn't have to spend so much on maintanence. And maybe a couple of his suppliers could front him some wood and give him a chance to recoup?
He's in a rough spot for sure. Terrible bad. We are all pulling for ya Joe and will do all that we can
