My point is this is artistic expression and why should you hold yourself up as the arbiter of what is necessary? Art is not something this is better if it is pared down to the bare necessities. Is every note necessary in the great music written by Mozart? Triple duh!

Definitely a creative arrangement - the original song is very upbeat and obviously happy, but this one is somehow sad sounding. Kudos to the arranger
