Damn. Incredible musicianship. They are at an incredible level of skill and style. Barbershop competition could do with a little expansion to include such variants. Would increase the appeal to a broader as audience. Thanks for the great recording!!
I talked to one of the baris from AoH a while back. He said that Vocal Spectrum was made of one bass and three freaks of nature. I find it difficult to refute that assessment at this point.
rogerdotlee - Chris is also a freak of nature, he's got one of the best ranges on a bass that I've ever heard, I'm not saying that you said he isn't good but I think he's as talented as the other guys. He's so good, they all are really. But I think Chris gets overlooked a lot. He's one of my favorites for sure (not saying anyone puts him down or anything) I just don't often hear people acknowledge him as much as the others
This is the first jazzy song I have heard your group sing. Will you be doing any touring this summer other than a convention? I attended several of them and they were alot of fun, and when I sang with sweet adelines I did alot cause because they were alot of fun, but alot of work. I couldn't do the one in Hawaii and that's the one our group won! How long has Vocal Specturm been together? What a great group....keep on sing your Tim Tags.
Man, we need more jazzershop in the barbershop community! I love it, especially the bell tones and that last chord!
This is just amazing! I'm a fan of swing, and this A cappella performance captures the excitement of the style 👏👏👏👏
I think Steve from The Daddies would appreciate this 😄
This is amazing. 🙌🏼 saw the Daddies many times in the 90’s. Always a fun show.
Such a great interpretation. Sad thing I imagine 90% of the barbershop audience had ZERO clue what this song was or where it came from.
YES! Acapella swing! Only the masters can even think about doing it.
The chord progressions are so complex, and they totally pull it off. Not easy to do on a good day, but they make it look easy.

It's true though XD

@@NikoPorter Must agree: anyone who ever sang next to Chris can attest to his astounding bright resonance. The guy can fill a room.
@@NikoPorter Chris is so solid!
@@NikoPorterYes! I love Chris's voice. He is amazing and I don't think he gets the attention he deserves.
those last few chords are NUTS. fucking NUTS
Yum. Love the last chord, especially! 1 7 2 b3? Noice.
Fabulous!
Love, love, love!!

Does Rebel Wilson know about you cats? The next Pitch Perfect sequel shouldn't happen w/o U, if there is a Pan.
