    I appreciate it bro right now the back up food options is what I use as all the options have failed. Cheap high protein foods that last long and can basically be stored anywhere like canned tuna and protein powder are life savers for me.

    Luka, I like your brilliant idea of linking food choices to the shopping your mom does. You are wise beyond your years! Try linking them to helping her problems, like diabetes, heart or obesity issues, Also suggest healthy substitutions for her favorite dishes. Find some great recipes online, and get her to experiment.
    +1 cup of canned tuna has 54 grams of protein.
    + 4 tablespoons of peanut butter has 16 grams of protein and 2 slices of whole grain wheat bread have 8 grams per slice.
    A 1-cup (180-gram) serving of canned black beans provides 25 grams of protein
    + A good protein bar has about 25 grams of protein.
    + BTW, 1 cup of mac ‘n’ cheese has 16 grams of protein.
    Protein requirements:
    + Minimum:.4 grams per pound of bodyweight
    + Exercising hard: about .8 to 1 gram per pound of bodyweight
